Ethan infiltrated the Allied Army camp and was immediately met with a barrage of attacks from soldiers enraged by his presence. Despite his attempts to de-escalate and surrender, the onslaught continued until Duke Valen Ashcroft intervened. Ethan declared he was there to surrender and had an important matter to report, with Marquise Shatad present to corroborate his claims. Shatad, under intense scrutiny, confirmed Ethan's statement, causing shock and disbelief among the Allied forces.

Duke Valen slowly raised one hand.

"Silence!"

His commanding voice instantly quieted the crowd.

He looked back at Shatad with a sharp gaze and spoke again.

"Explain yourself."

Shatad swallowed hard before answering.

"Marquise Ethan did not force me to say this. He came to me because he wanted someone to confirm his words, and I came here willingly."

The surrounding nobles exchanged serious looks.

One of them stepped forward and looked directly at Shatad.

"Marquise Shatad, if you are lying before the Allied Army, then you understand the consequences."

Shatad let out a bitter laugh before slowly shaking his head.

"I know. I wouldn't joke with my own life."

Duke Valen folded his hands behind his back and continued staring at the two men.

"Ethan, you said you came to surrender, and you also claimed that you have an important matter to report. What exactly is it?"

Ethan slowly lowered his hand after seeing that no one was attacking anymore.

His expression remained serious as he looked at Duke Valen.

"I request a private meeting with the commanders of the Allied Army."

The request immediately made several nobles frown.

One of them spoke without hesitation.

"Impossible. You expect us to trust you after everything that has happened?"

Another noble stepped forward and looked at Ethan with suspicion.

"You have already been declared a traitor by Arcadia. In such a situation, how do we know this isn't another trick?"

Before Ethan could answer, another commander spoke in a cold voice.

"Even if Arcadia calls you a traitor, that doesn't mean we can trust you so easily."

Ethan did not become angry.

He simply looked at them and answered calmly.

"I expected that. But what I have to say cannot be spoken before thousands of people because if this information spreads before we understand the full situation, it will only create panic."

His calm tone made several people fall silent.

Duke Valen quietly observed Ethan's face for several moments while trying to find even the slightest sign of hesitation or deceit.

Instead, all he saw was exhaustion and determination.

After a brief pause, he turned toward Marquise Shatad.

"You support his request?"

Shatad slowly nodded.

"I do."

He looked around at everyone before speaking in a heavy voice.

"What he wants to say concerns everyone, and it is not just about Arcadia anymore. If what we discovered is true, then every Empire and every person standing on this battlefield is involved."

Those words immediately made the atmosphere even heavier.

Several commanders looked at one another with solemn expressions.

Whatever this matter was, it had clearly gone far beyond an ordinary battlefield dispute.

After a long silence, Duke Valen finally made his decision.

He slowly looked toward the surrounding soldiers and raised his hand.

"Lower your weapons."

Although many soldiers were reluctant and still looked at Ethan with hostility, they slowly obeyed the order and lowered their weapons while remaining alert.

Duke Valen then looked back at Ethan.

"You will come with us. If we discover that this is a trick, you will not leave this camp alive."

Ethan gave a small nod.

"I understand."

Without another word, Duke Valen turned around and calmly spoke.

"Bring them."

The surrounding commanders moved aside and created a path toward the central command tent while hundreds of soldiers continued watching Ethan and Shatad with cautious eyes. No one spoke, and everyone could feel that whatever was about to be discussed would change far more than just this war.

"We can't let you move around freely."

"You need to wear mana-restriction cuffs."

Duke Valen looked directly at Ethan while speaking.

His tone remained calm, but there was no room for negotiation.

Ethan looked at the cuffs for a brief moment before slowly nodding."I understand."

Duke Valen gave a slight nod toward the nearby knights.

"Proceed."

Two elite knights immediately stepped forward while holding a pair of heavy cuffs forged from high-grade mana-sealing metal. Strange runes were carved across their surface, and they emitted faint waves of suppressing energy.

Ethan calmly extended both hands.

Click!

Click!

The cuffs locked firmly around his wrists.

The moment they closed, Ethan felt the mana inside his body become sluggish while a powerful sealing force spread through his meridians. His cultivation immediately felt suppressed as though an invisible weight had been placed upon him.

Even so, his expression did not change.

He had already expected this.

If he truly wanted to break the seal, he could do it at any time. But that was not why he had come here.

For now, he quietly followed their wishes.

Only after confirming that the cuffs had been properly secured did Duke Valen turn around and lead the way while Ethan and Marquise Shatad quietly followed behind him.

Several Saint Realm experts walked alongside them while dozens of elite guards surrounded the group from every direction. Although they had lowered their weapons, none of them relaxed their guard. Their eyes remained fixed on Ethan, and even the slightest movement from him caused their hands to tighten around their weapons.

The group slowly walked through the camp while countless soldiers silently watched them pass. Whispering soon spread throughout the surroundings.

"Is that really Marquise Ethan?"

"Why would he surrender?"

"What important matter could he possibly have?"

"No idea, but it must be something huge."

Many soldiers looked at Ethan with hatred while others simply stared with curiosity. Some wanted to attack him immediately, but the presence of Duke Valen and the other commanders stopped them from acting recklessly.

Marquise Shatad lowered his head and quietly walked beside Ethan.

He leaned slightly toward him and whispered, "You really know how to make an entrance."

Ethan let out a helpless sigh.

"I didn't plan for everyone to welcome me with spells."

Shatad gave him a strange look.

"You expected them to welcome you with flowers?"

Ethan rubbed the bridge of his nose.

"I at least expected someone to let me finish one sentence."

Shatad slowly shook his head.

"You're lucky they didn't bury you under a hundred more spells."

Neither of them spoke again after that.

After walking for several minutes, the group finally arrived before the largest command tent in the Allied camp. Several elite guards stood outside while the flags of the four Empires fluttered above the tent. The atmosphere around the place was far more serious than the rest of the camp.

Duke Valen stopped before the entrance.

He looked toward the guards.

"No one enters without my permission."

The guards immediately saluted.

"Yes, My Lord."

Duke Valen then looked at Ethan.

"Inside are the highest commanders of the Allied Army."

His expression became even more serious.

"I will give you one chance. If I discover that you have lied to us or tried to waste our time, you will not walk out of this tent alive."

Ethan met his gaze without showing any fear.

"I understand."

Duke Valen quietly nodded before lifting the tent flap and walking inside.

Ethan and Marquise Shatad followed behind him.

The moment they stepped inside, dozens of powerful eyes turned toward them.

The spacious command tent immediately became silent.

A massive battlefield map covered the center table while reports, letters, and intelligence documents were spread across it. Around the table sat the commanders of the Allied Army. Some wore heavy armor while others were dressed in noble robes, but every one of them carried an overwhelming aura that showed they were among the strongest people on the battlefield.

Several of them frowned the moment they saw Ethan.

One elderly commander slowly stood up.

"So..."

"This is Marquise Ethan."

His sharp eyes carefully observed Ethan from head to toe before shifting toward Marquise Shatad.

"And you brought Marquise Shatad with you."

He paused for a brief moment before speaking again.

"I hope all this commotion was worth disturbing every commander in this camp."

Though they spoke calmly, everyone inside the tent remained tense. Every commander carefully observed Ethan's expression while trying to find even the slightest flaw in his words. At the same time, they wondered what kind of trick he might have prepared.

Ethan slowly took one step forward.

His expression became serious as he looked around at every commander gathered inside the tent.

"I did not betray Arcadia."

He paused for a brief moment before continuing.

"They are hunting me because I discovered something that I was never supposed to see."

Those words immediately made every commander frown.

Several of them leaned forward while others exchanged serious looks.

One commander spoke first.

"What exactly did you discover?"

Ethan took a slow breath.

"The miasma behind the battlefield is the source of dungeon outbreaks but they are not natural disasters."

He slowly swept his gaze across everyone before speaking in a heavier tone.

"They happened because Arcadia has joined hands with someone they never should have."

The moment those words left his mouth, the entire command tent fell into complete silence.
