Paragon Of Sin Chapter 1987 Chapter 1979: Dao Force; Undefeated

Previously on Paragon Of Sin...
Wei Wuyin and Tilly Winehart arrived at the Inner Ascendant Battlefield after a rapid journey through the chaotic realms. Tilly underwent a profound transformation, achieving the High-World Refined Physique known as the Worldbreaker War Physique after interacting with Wei Wuyin's Mystic Rune Sphere. As he prepared to enter the battlefield, he had to choose between the Battlefield of Order and the Battlefield of War, ultimately deciding on the Inner Ascendant Battlefield of Order. Meanwhile, he received troubling news about deaths within his Neo-Byr Legion, prompting him to take swift action to ensure their revival as he stepped into the chaotic fray ahead.

A solitary Solar Star of monstrous proportions loomed over the Inner Ascendant Battlefield of Order within the Lower 44th Zone. Beneath its shadow, the Creationists present were forced into a state of absolute despair, their eyes pried wide by terror and their knees driven into the dirt. An insurmountable wall now stood against their very spirits and intellects.

The Solar Star drenched the battlefield in a translucent, misty glow, emitting a warmth that carried cryptic whispers of profound truths and esoteric wisdom. Faced with such brilliance, witnesses felt their ears bleed and tears stream down their faces, their hands trembling uncontrollably. Encircling the star were six massive Mystic Radiance Belts, their rotation generating a mental pressure akin to a series of thunderous explosions.

This singular Globe of Creation was constructed entirely upon the scholarly understanding of the world and cultivation, pushed to the absolute peak allowed within the Ascendants Battlefield. While most other Globes of Creation possessed a mere one to three Mystic Radiance Belts, this titan—forged from pure academic mastery—had birthed SIX!

"..." Standing at the foot of his creation, Wei Wuyin stared up at its gargantuan form. Yet, despite the overwhelming power he had summoned, his expression remained tense and clouded with confusion. The very event that had utterly broken the spirits of the enemy Soldiers and Commanders drew only a grimace from the man who caused it!

The reason for his somber mood?

For the first time, Wei Wuyin had received an objective confirmation of his own intellectual and cultivation depth. His journey thus far had been nothing short of heaven-defying. He had always been obsessed with moving forward, viewing the power of those above him as a looming Hell while the Heavenly Daos pulled at him from every direction. Consequently, he had never paused to measure the true scale of his own comprehension.

Throughout his cultivation, he had witnessed the River of Time, survived a lethal confrontation with the World itself, manipulated the grand designs of the Heavenly Daos, and gained entry to the Samsara of Stars. Between advancing his alchemic expertise, inventing new arts and spells—a task for which he possessed a natural genius—and forging an unparalleled foundation, he had simply never taken the time to categorize his vast knowledge.

It was deeply unsettling how the Globe of Creation’s challenges—improving complex spells, theorizing cultivation paths, designing intricate formations, and simulating cosmic variables—felt so effortless.

THEY WERE INCREDIBLY EASY!

Even though Magus had intended to go all out here, the level of knowledge required felt like basic math to a seasoned professor. Magus actually felt it was beneath him to intervene, leaving the trials for Wei Wuyin to solve alone. This terrifying Globe of Creation was the product of Wei Wuyin’s personal efforts.

His grimness stemmed from the realization of this massive disparity. Tests that would baffle even Mystic Overlords felt intuitive to him. It was as if he already possessed a complete understanding of the Mystic Ascendant Realm, rivaling or perhaps even surpassing a cultivator of the Resonant Soul Realm!

"I always credited our power to all of you. I thought I was just the pilot reaping the rewards of your hard work," Wei Wuyin remarked with a soft sigh. "But I see now that without an intimate grasp of your foundations and your daos, I would be like a child trying to navigate a ship through a storm—it would be impossible. Haha!" With this epiphany, an invisible weight was lifted from his Heart of Cultivation. He hadn't realized a seed of corruption had been festering there, a strain that might have grown into a ruinous tree had he never stopped to reflect.

As chaos and panic gripped the Inner Ascendant Battlefield, Wei Wuyin decided to investigate a theory. With a simple thought, he silenced his five Mystic Souls. Their power, essence, and mystic energy vanished from his senses, leaving him to observe his own state in the silence.

Element.

Little Defiant.

Athena.

He could still feel the faint hum of their existence, watchful and ready.

Inside his body and surrounding his soul, seven Laws resonated with a celestial melody, signaling a deep authority over the worldly domains: Origin, Saber, Imperial, Annihilation, Space, Time, and War. These laws obeyed his will as inseparable parts of his being.

As he exerted his will, their traits infused his very marrow and blood—becoming Intent.

Saber Intent saturated his flesh and breath, giving his gaze and presence a lethal sharpness that could protect or destroy with a single motion.

Elemental Origin Intent harmonized with the environment, responding to his emotions by summoning storms or nurturing life. The world’s elements converged into a single will, capable of manifesting endless transformations.

He sensed how these forces interacted within him and how they reached out into the void. It was a sublime sensation that defined his identity as a cultivator.

Suddenly, he thought of the World and its suffocating, omnipresent will. Could Intent be a way of mimicking that entity? Were cultivators essentially following the World's path when they developed Intent? The thought was brief, yet it etched itself into his soul.

This was a moment of hidden enlightenment, a flash of clarity available only to those who had stood against the direct force of the World. Like building a ladder in his mind, he felt a natural evolution of understanding take shape.

The stage beyond Void Soul Intent.

Seed Intent.

Awakened Intent.

Heart of the World, World of the Intent.

Soul of the Void, Void of the Soul Intent.

Force of the Dao, Dao of the Force Intent!

DAO FORCE INTENT!

Wei Wuyin’s mind was flooded with an insight that transcended his current realm but fit his experiences perfectly. The idea of using one's will to draw power directly from the myriad daos was nothing short of godlike!

As he finished his realization, the last of the opposition collapsed. They sent a formal surrender message that flashed across all three thousand zones, desperate to ensure he saw their submission.

His connection to his Mystic Souls returned. They had gone quiet on purpose, sensing that Wei Wuyin needed to grasp a truth that had previously eluded him. With his path forward now illuminated, he simply had to keep walking.

Tilly watched in her usual state of awe. Seeing Wei Wuyin switch from Alchemic dominance to overwhelming Scholarly Knowledge using various Ways of Creation revealed a new dimension of his genius to her.

Wei Wuyin spent the following hours stripping the defeated factions of their knowledge, just as he had in the other battlefields. None dared to resist, especially after he provided oath-dissolving potions to clear away their previous restrictions. Faced with the choice between death or handing over their legacies, they chose to submit, as their martial experts were useless in this specific Battlefield of Order.

The haul of knowledge was massive. Wei Wuyin ordered Magus to organize the data before sending it to Xue Yifei to distribute among the empire's elites. In one fell swoop, he had acquired millions of years of research—technologies for Skyships, Void Vessels, and Blessed Grounds, as well as methods for creating rare materials and celestial bodies. The societal level of the Neo-Dawn Empire was about to skyrocket.

Processing this would take time, but the Neo-Dawn Vortex-Zone Pellets would allow their talents to study without draining their core strength. This would undoubtedly accelerate the empire's evolution.

He trusted Xue Yifei to maintain a stable foundation, ensuring that technology and cultivation levels remained balanced and that rewards were only given for true merit. He had no intention of raising "greenhouse flowers" who couldn't survive a real storm.

"Do you intend to head to the Ascendant Battlefield of War next?" Tilly asked, her eyes blinking in surprise. He had already conquered the Battlefields of Order with alchemy and scholarship. Now, they were heading toward a place where the most powerful Mystic Ascendants in the galactic cluster gathered for combat.

Wei Wuyin gave a confident smile. "Let’s go."

Tilly quickly activated the spatial array. Moments later, they vanished, leaving the Inner Ascendant Battlefield of Order behind as undefeated legends.

Outer Ascendant Battlefield of War.

The two arrived at a designated headquarters for the war effort. While no place here was truly safe from siege, this landing zone served as the primary hub for soldiers and commanders.

As they stepped out under Wei Wuyin’s speed, the pungent aroma of blood and death filled the air, stinging their senses.

"HUA!" Tilly cried out in terror.

Stretching out before them was a literal sea of corpses.

Bodies covered the ground as far as the eye could see.
