Arthur reflects on his past, his choice to embrace trust despite betrayal, and his promise to protect his daughter and guide Godfrey. Godfrey reveals that his mother is the mana tree, and he is an engineered product of its quest, with the potential to become Cain's summon upon death. Arthur shares news that Sebastian has been transferred to Rikers Island after a violent outburst, suggesting he may have intentionally sought this transfer.

"That's right. I'll just observe for now," Arthur stated, then cleared his throat.

Godfrey raised his eyebrows, wondering if there was more crucial information he needed to be aware of. It seemed that way.

"Apart from Mrs. Athena, the others remain insistent that you join the authorities before they revoke the bounty. They are now convinced that with a considerable number of Titled gods and progenitors in the vicinity, you've become a significant target," Arthur explained.

"There are also rumors circulating about artifacts known as relics, capable of rendering a summoner invincible. They believe you might reconsider your options if survival is your goal."

Godfrey let out a scoff. "Tell them to raise the bounty. One billion is far too little for a demigod; it should be ten billion, or perhaps even a hundred. I'm certain this will ensure a constant stream of individuals hunting me. I'll either be compelled to join them or perish."

Arthur fell silent for a moment before a smile touched his lips. "You have indeed changed."

He then stood up. "Inform Isolde that I paid a visit, and make sure to look after yourself."

"And you're leaving already?"

"I've been here for quite some time. We've had our conversation, and I am assured that you are both doing well."

Not long after Arthur's departure, Godfrey retreated to his soul space and took his seat upon the throne. It was time to utilize his rewards, he mused, gazing at the two cores before him.

One was a vibrant purple, while the other was remarkably transparent. The purple core originated from the dungeon, and the transparent, diamond-shaped one belonged to Damascus, a 38.6 Titled god whose abilities possessed the potential to influence beings of higher standing.

However, Godfrey wasn't taken aback; he had encountered such individuals before.

It had been a considerable duration since he last employed a dungeon core. Godfrey had no definitive knowledge of which core held superior power, but he was inclined to wager that the purple gate offered greater advantages.

"Tempest. Toria." His voice resonated, and two portals materialized. Both phoenix knights emerged, took a few steps forward, and knelt respectfully.

The moment Toria would rise, Tempest would follow suit, necessitating that Godfrey present the core to her first. This was, in essence, a strategy to achieve two objectives with a single action.

Toria accepted the core and absorbed it. Her aura erupted, surging upwards with astonishing speed. It swiftly breached the Progenitor Tier and continued its ascent.

Tempest's aura mirrored Solstice's rapid escalation. Before Godfrey's astonished eyes, his knights were enveloped in a radiant golden light. Their physical stature remained unchanged – Tempest at twelve feet and Toria at ten – but all imperfections on their armor vanished, replaced by what appeared to be new plating once the luminescence subsided.

Both knights had ascended to level 32.5, equalling a mere one point away from becoming Titled god summons!

A profound sense of satisfaction washed over him.

He returned them to their designated chamber, summoned Solstice next, and bestowed upon him the dungeon core. A fierce gale erupted outwards as Solstice absorbed the core's essence.

His height extended to fourteen feet; his arming swords now appeared comparable to a normal human's greatsword.

Solstice not only looked magnificent but also saw his tier jump from 26.0 to 34.1, shattering all his previous limitations.

Name: Chief General of the Golden Order (Dragon Knight)

Type: Hybrid

Tier: 34.1 (Titled god)

Potential: Unknown

Solstice's potential caused Godfrey to blink in surprise. Unknown? Could this be attributed to his lack of knowledge regarding the tier classifications of ancient gods?

If the system was factoring in ancient gods, then Solstice represented something extraordinary. Now, Godfrey could progress alongside him without encountering any potential limitations; this was precisely the advantage of being classified as a Chief General. Mountain, conversely, had drawn the shorter straw, being the first noble knight summoned and consequently remaining fixed at King Tier.

It appeared the mana tree was responsible for this, deliberately suppressing the initial knights to ensure their accessibility. Unfortunately, this had crippled Mountain's growth, but Godfrey was determined to find a way to restore him. At his full potential, Mountain was a demigod.

His own ascendancy was approaching, but for the present moment, Solstice could delve into the capabilities of his beast form to strengthen himself. From what Godfrey observed, the complete beast resided within them, granting them partial access to its instincts, which allowed for fluid execution during the 'Black-Out State.'

Solstice knelt once more.

"Let us proceed to your tower. It has been some time since I last delved into my Pathan knowledge from those wall inscriptions," Godfrey announced.

'While I do have the Alchemists available now, I find myself inclined to read and decipher these texts myself. It may serve as a welcome distraction from many pressing matters.'

Upon arriving at Solstice's tower, which presented itself as a colossal hall adorned with grand pillars reaching towards the high ceiling, Godfrey paused. If one were to estimate, this tower seemed to be approximately three to four stories tall.

Torches flared to life, dispelling the lingering darkness and revealing a monumental image etched into the wall. Adjacent to it lay a lengthy inscription, presumably detailing the historical events.

Godfrey perceived the sun blazing high above, while a creature with immense wings—a dragon—descended from its celestial position, as countless knights of the Golden Order stood resolutely, their spears pointed skyward.

The following scene depicted a battle, or more precisely, a slaughter. Fallen knights littered the ground, while the dragon, despite sustaining injuries, remained alive.

This particular dragon was not of immense size when compared to Isolde's largest dragons, measuring perhaps a hundred to a hundred and twenty feet in length. While substantial, it was not particularly extraordinary for its kind.

It had appeared large initially, but in the broader context, its size was diminished. Could such devastation have been wrought by a young dragon? If such power was evident at this size, then this creature was truly fearsome.

"I wished to inquire. Are you influenced by Isolde? You have never behaved in such a manner before," Godfrey remarked, gazing down at the location where the dragon had finally met its end.

Though the view was obscured, the images in the final section were still discernible. Mountain, Ballista, and Tempest were present. It must have been a significant campaign for three noble knights to mobilize together with their respective forces.

"I am not influenced by her because I am not a dragon, Your Majesty. The sun dragon does not belong to their lineage; it is known as an Absolute – magnificent entities born at the genesis of existence, predating the creation of worlds. Our sun was formed long before our world, and it is the inaugural sun, which is why alchemists refer to it as the Origin Sun. Within it resided an embryo that evolved into the sun dragon. It existed prior to the dragon race's creation."

Solstice's steady, resonant voice filled the hall.
