Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven Chapter 657: Chaos Archive The Truth Behind Inner World

Grey slowly opened his eyes. He was no longer sitting inside the airplane of the White Devil, Seraphina.
Grey looked around cautiously, taking in his new surroundings.
The place resembled an enormous library, endless bookshelves stretching into the distance far beyond his vision. Ordinary books sat beside ancient tomes, glowing scrolls rested next to jade slips and crystal tablets.
Every form of knowledge imaginable seemed to exist here.
The entire space was strangely silent and yet it was made up of frequency.
He didn’t think silence could have a frequency. silence was the absence of a sound yet there was various frequencies around him.
The place felt ancient and very uncomfortable for some reason. But it did not feel hostile toward him.
Grey quickly checked the state of his consciousness, making sure he hadn’t been trapped in an illusion. His connection to the outside world still existed, his consciousness was simply focused inside this new space.
He began examining the fluctuations around him.
As he sensed the space more carefully, his expression changed.
He recognized the familiar frequency.
It was connected to the first fragment of the Chaos Emperor’s consciousness, the one he had obtained long ago from the edge of the milky way. The new fragment had merged with the first piece of the fragment and their their unstable frequencies combined together to form this place.
It made sense. That fragment was the one with the most amount of knowledge and it seemed like the fragment he obtained right now was another part of the Chaos Emperor’s vast knowledge.
"It’s like an archive of knowledge," he said quietly.
The moment Grey thought about the nature of this place, an understanding naturally entered his mind. As long as he willed a specific piece of information, the space could retrieve relevant knowledge.
Grey became suspicious immediately, the ability was too convenient to exist.
It reminded him of a person that had a similar cheat in a novel he had read back on Earth. The Guy could think of something and the relevant information would appear in his mind. Was it something similar?
Whatever it was, he decided to test it.
Grey focused his thoughts on the 10th Rank, wanting to know what it truly represented.
The moment his thoughts settled, the entire library reacted.
Bookshelves shifted in the distance, several books and scrolls began flying toward him. They stopped in front of Grey and arranged themselves in the air.
This confirmed his guess.
"Alright, I’ll call this place the Chaos Archive," Grey decided with a small grin.
A faint reaction spread through the surrounding space, as if the library accepted the name.
Grey took one of the floating books and began reading.
[The 10th Rank was not simply another level of power, it was where an Evolver must establish something truly unique to themselves.]
[Their own path.]
[Their own Dao.]
[And eventually, their own Inner World.]
There were some useless information after that, Grey skimmed through it and continued reading.
Grey learned that without successfully creating an Inner World, an Evolver loses their opportunity for true transcendence. The foundation created at the 10th Rank determined whether someone could continue climbing toward the highest levels.
Most Evolvers stopped advancing at this stage, they could grow stronger but could not cross into true evolution.
Power alone was not enough from this point onward.
He continued reading and discovered something interesting about the Inner World.
An Inner World was not the same as an ordinary pocket dimension, it was connected to the Evolver’s existence. It was born from the unique power created by the Evolver.
Once that unique power reached a certain level, it supposedly gave birth to an Inner World.
Life could eventually appear within it, civilizations could develop. If the beings within the Inner World achieved transcendence, the creator became qualified for Real Transcendence.
Grey put the book down as he processed the implications.
His future Inner World would become an actual world capable of developing life.
However, as Grey reread the information, his expression changed.
Something did not make sense.
The records stated that the Inner World was naturally born after creating unique power.
Naturally born?
Grey frowned at those words.
As far as he understood, an Inner World should require a foundation, a Dao Seed or something equivalent. Without that, how could an Inner World simply appear naturally?
And the process of forming itself was a very pain in the ass. One wrong move and it’s over for you.
He checked another book, then another.
It was the exact same answer every time.
That.... it didn’t require a Dao Seed Or Its Equivalent Like how Eterna uses Chaos Matrix to form an inner world
Grey searched for older records, theories from different civilizations.
The information remained unchanged.
His frown deepened.
The Chaos Archive had no reason to provide false information, yet the information contained a contradiction.
Slowly, a possibility appeared in Grey’s mind.
What if the information available to current Evolvers was rewritten and changed?
What if the current system was giving Evolvers an incorrect and less versatile path?
There was only one existence capable of influencing systems on such a massive scale.
The Heavenly Dao.
What if the Heavenly Dao had deliberately hidden a crucial part of the path to transcendence?
Grey suddenly understood why so many Evolvers failed to continue ascending.
Perhaps the ceiling was not natural, perhaps Heavenly Dao had created it to stop people from ascending too much?
Were the people of the Endless Reality that bright that the Heavenly Dao itself changed the power system across all the endless reality just to make it harder to reach 10th rank?
The moment Grey reached this conclusion, something inside his consciousness trembled.
The information from the books, his understanding of the Dao Seed, everything began connecting together.
Grey’s comprehension rapidly rang out in his mind..
