Grey struggled to find a path for Dao Opening, as his unique situation didn't fit the established methods of Immortals, Buddhists, or Martial Artists. He researched these paths to understand their core principles and potential variations. Realizing the standard approach might not work for him, Grey decided to seek out the Chaos Source Codex for answers about true transcendence and left to find its fragments, intending to also acquire a Reality Ship.

Grey arrived at the Central Hub’s commercial district.

Massive buildings lined the glowing pathways, each one displaying holographic advertisements for various products. Ships, weapons, artifacts, everything a higher dimensional being could want was sold here.

He spotted a building with a massive sign floating above it.

Stellar Voyages Reality Ship Dealership

Grey walked inside.

The interior was sleek and modern, with floating displays showing different ship models. A young woman with purple skin and silver hair approached him immediately, her eyes lighting up when she saw him.

"Welcome to Stellar Voyages," she said with a bright smile. "Are you here to buy a ship today?"

"I’m just here to look around," Grey replied casually. "Do you have a High-Grade Reality Ship that allows 400 jumps with one full tank?"

The woman’s smile widened at his question.

"Of course we do, sir. The Alpha Centauri 01 is our premium model, it offers exactly 400 jumps at full capacity."

"Can I see it?" Grey asked.

"Absolutely."

She waved her hand, and a holographic projection appeared between them. The ship rotated slowly, its sleek design gleaming under the virtual lighting.

Grey shook his head.

"No, I meant the actual ship."

The woman’s expression flickered briefly.

"We do have a showpiece model on display," she said carefully. "But I should mention that it’s not road ready, it doesn’t have navigation installed."

"The rest of the components are there, right?"

"Yes, everything else is fully functional. After purchase, our multi-dimensional printer will produce a complete ship for you."

Grey nodded with satisfaction.

"Yeah, that’ll work. Show me the showpiece."

The woman led him through a set of doors into a massive hangar and inside it was the showpiece.

The Alpha Centauri 01 was beautiful, its hull shimmering with a metallic blue finish. Golden circuit patterns ran along its surface, and the viewing windows gleamed like polished crystal.

Grey walked around it slowly, his eyes flickering with golden light.

The Mecha Race ability activated within him, scanning every single component of the ship. Data flooded into his server, blueprints forming rapidly in his mind.

Hull composition, engine specifications, fuel conversion systems, dimensional stabilizers, all of it was absorbed by his ability.

His server processed it all in seconds.

"This is impressive craftsmanship," Grey said appreciatively.

The woman beamed at his praise.

"The Alpha Centauri line represents the pinnacle of Reality Ship engineering. Would you like to discuss financing options?"

Grey stroked his chin thoughtfully.

"I’ll come back later," he said. "Need to think about it some more."

The woman’s smile remained perfectly in place.

"Of course, sir. Come back anytime."

Grey nodded and walked out of the dealership.

The moment the doors closed behind him, the woman’s pleasant expression collapsed into a scowl.

"Just my luck," she muttered under her breath. "To think I wasted my time on him. I only entertained him because he was handsome, turns out he’s poor."

She clicked her tongue in annoyance.

"Left a sour taste in my mouth."

Grey chuckled softly as he walked away.

His senses had picked up every word she said, but he didn’t bother responding. There was no point in correcting her assumption.

He made his way toward the residential section of the Central Hub.

The pathways here were quieter, lined with elegant buildings that housed the various faction representatives. Each structure bore the emblem of its respective organization.

Grey spotted a familiar ship parked outside a building with a sign that read Mind Collective Residency.

It was naturally Alan’s ship.

He approached just as Alan stepped out of the building, the Esper Path creator’s expression thoughtful.

"Master." Alan immediately sensed Grey’s presence and bowed his head in greeting.

"Yo," Grey replied casually. "Having fun?"

"I was just visiting people I once knew," Alan said.

Grey nodded at his explanation.

"Come, I want to talk to you."

"Of course."

They boarded the Reality Ship together, and Alan set course for the Nexus Universe. The ship hummed smoothly as it departed from the Central Hub.

Grey leaned back in his seat as they traveled through the Chaos.

"I’m leaving for a while," he said. "I’ll be back before the three month period ends."

Alan glanced at him with curiosity.

"May I ask where you’re going, Master?"

"I need to find the remaining fragments of the Chaos Source Codex," Grey explained. "And also the remaining fragments of the Lesser Heaven that are scattered across the endless reality."

"Then should I prepare the ship for a long journey?"

Grey shook his head.

"No need. I’m going alone this time, I already know how to make a Reality Ship. You just keep everything in check while I’m gone."

Alan’s eyebrows rose slightly at his words.

"You can build a Reality Ship, Master?"

"Just figured it out," Grey grinned. "Perks of having the Mecha Race ability."

During their conversation, Grey’s server had also been scanning Alan’s Reality Ship. Every system, every component, every design choice, all of it now resided in his database.

Combined with the Alpha Centauri blueprints, he had everything he needed.

"I will ensure the Nexus Universe remains stable in your absence," Alan said with a respectful nod.

"Good. I appreciate it Alan."

The Reality Ship arrived at the Nexus Universe shortly after.

Grey didn’t head to the Nexus Domain immediately. Instead, he changed course toward the hidden Chaos Mine.

The Chaos Severance Array recognized his presence and allowed him entry.

Grey stepped into the crystallized cavern, mining bots continuing their endless work around him. High-grade Chaos Stones glittered in the walls, their condensed energy calling to him.

He walked to a section rich with premium deposits and began extracting materials.

Dozens of High-Grade Chaos Stones piled up before him. Their combined value was enough to buy several Alpha Centauri ships.

But Grey had no intention of buying anything.

He was going to build something better.

His eyes blazed with golden circuit patterns as the Mecha Race ability activated at full power.

The Chaos Stones began transforming.

Their crystalline structures broke down and reformed into hull plating, their energy converted into engine components. Grey’s hands moved with impossible precision, weaving technology and chaos together.

The Alpha Centauri blueprints served as his foundation, but he wasn’t making a copy.

He was making an upgrade.

The fuel conversion system came first. The original design achieved 400 jumps at full capacity, but Grey with his ability saw inefficiencies everywhere. Wasted energy here, suboptimal pathways there.

He refined every single component with a wave of his hand.

Energy channels were optimized, reducing waste by over half. The engine core was reconstructed with perfect efficiency, every atom placed exactly where it needed to be.

The navigation system came next, far more advanced than the dealership’s version.

Grey incorporated his comprehension of the Chaos Perception Art into the design. The ship would be able to detect threats across dimensional boundaries, sensing danger before it arrived.

After that, he focused on the defensive layers.

Layered barriers would protect the ship across multiple dimensional jumps across planes.

After the barriers, he moved onto the Hull.

The hull received special attention.

Grey infused it with trace amounts of Nexus Energy, pushing its durability toward perfection. Minor imperfections in the original design were eliminated entirely.

Nexus energy could do that, it was just like how he made devils into Nexus Angels.

Hours passed as he worked.

Finally, the construction completed.

A brand new Reality Ship sat before him, its hull gleaming with a deep purple finish accented by white circuits. The design was sleek and aggressive, radiating power even while stationary.

Grey ran a diagnostic through his server.

The results made him smile.

Fuel Efficiency: 800 jumps at full capacity

That was double what any reality ship could achieve.

Speed: 57% improvement over Alpha Centauri baseline

Defensive Capability: Multilayered dimensional barriers active

Navigation: Chaos integration complete

Grey nodded with satisfaction.

"Perfect."

He walked around his creation, admiring the craftsmanship. The purple and white color scheme matched his aesthetic perfectly.

"You need a name," he murmured.

He considered several options before settling on one that felt right.

"The Purple King."

The ship seemed to hum in response, its systems coming fully online.

It also had an integrated AI and was fully sentient.

Grey boarded through the main hatch, the interior lights activating as he entered. The command bridge was spacious enough to accommodate a lot of people.

He settled into the captain’s chair and ran his hands over the console.

Now, it was time to set off.

But before that, he made to sure tell everyone about his departure and once that was done, he was ready to leave.

"I’m coming with you. Grey."
