Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven Chapter 618: The Thought-Demolishing Matrix

This guy joked in serious situations all the time. Of course she wasn’t going to take him seriously when he first mentioned it.
"I’ll just go out to the 12th dimension and destroy a few universes." Grey continued casually.
Origin Will’s eyes widened. "You’re truly evil, are you just going to kill people?"
"Of course not." Grey shook his head. "I’m only going after universes filled with genuinely evil beings, or those already dying from abyssal corruption."
Origin Will considered his words for a long moment.
"Fine." She finally said. "But be careful out there."
Grey nodded and left to find Alan.
The Reality Ship launched into the Chaos shortly after, its sleek hull cutting through dimensional barriers with ease. Alan sat at the controls, navigating them toward the 12th plane of existence.
During the journey, Alan glanced back at Grey.
"I feel like you aren’t just going there to help Origin Will, Master Grey."
Grey smiled at his perception. "You’re right, I’m going there to test something."
The Thought-Demolishing Matrix.
Grey had reached the 12th rank, but his power level sat at only the first level. If he could make Thought-Demolishing work, he could theoretically destroy universes capable of containing peak 12th rankers.
Of course, Thought-Demolishing only worked on universes and not real people.
He initially thought it was impossible, but he felt like it could work, like the answer was very easy.
Alan’s voice broke through his thoughts. "We’ve entered the 12th plane of existence, I’m detecting several fully corrupted universes nearby."
"Take us to one." Grey said.
The Reality Ship changed course, heading toward the nearest corrupted universe.
They arrived within minutes.
Grey looked out the viewing window at the dying universe before them. Dark energy swirled around its boundaries, the unmistakable signature of abyssal corruption consuming everything within.
"Wait here." Grey said to Alan.
He stepped out of the ship and entered the corrupted universe.
Abyssal energy surged from all sides the moment he crossed the boundary.
"LEAVE! LEAVE!"
A corrupted being had consumed the Origin Will of this universe. Its voice thundered across reality, filled with madness and hunger.
Grey released his Nexus Energy.
The supreme power of perfection spread outward, putting everything to a complete stop. The abyssal energy froze in place, unable to move against his authority.
But Grey frowned as he assessed the situation.
If he wanted to eliminate this corrupted being, he would need peak 12th rank power. His current level wasn’t enough for a direct confrontation.
Hence, he would have to use Thought-Demolishing.
Grey began analyzing the technique in his mind.
The concept of Thought-Demolishing came from the Chaos Evolutionary Path. It required achieving Chaos Reboot, which was done by collapsing one’s consciousness and rebooting it using Chaos Essence.
That collapse brought out the willpower and subconscious power hidden deep within. And that subconscious power was what allowed Thought-Demolishing to occur.
But how exactly was he going to achieve this without Chaos Essence and Chaos Reboot?
There was two possibilities. One, this simply wouldn’t work since he has not reached a high enough level in terms of Life level for it to work yet or that he could replace that two things with something of his own.
That is when he remembered something.
He had willpower, immense amounts of it. He also possessed knowledge of the frequency patterns that a subconscious mind at the Thought-Demolishing Realm would generate.
But recreating the effect required something more.
Grey had reached Advanced Succession in this law during his time in the Spirit Elf Domain. The willpower bamboo forest had pushed his comprehension to new heights.
The Law of Spirit represented the manifestation of willpower itself. It allowed cultivators to manipulate willpower to influence, command, and bend reality.
Grey’s eyes flickered with realization.
At higher dimensional levels, the soul, body, and consciousness were all just expressions of the willpower and willpower and everything, no matter what it was traced back to frequencies.
The String theory suggests that even the base atom with electrons were just frequencies vibrating at a certain wavelength, after all.
If he used his Source as the foundation, combined it with the Law of Spirit’s willpower manipulation, added the endless nature of Infinity, and then refined everything with Nexus Energy...
He could in essence achieve Thought-Demolishing without Chaos Essence.
Grey began the process.
His Source stirred as he directed his consciousness inward. The Law of Spirit activated, his willpower becoming a tangible force that spread throughout his existence.
Infinity amplified the effect, making his willpower stretch endlessly in all directions.
Nexus Energy refined everything, pushing the technique toward perfection.
Grey felt something shift within him.
His subconscious power rose to the surface, brought forth not through some Chaos Reboot but through the perfect combination of his unique abilities.
[Your comprehension defies the heavens! By understanding the principles of Thought-Demolishing through alternative means, you’ve grasped the Thought-Demolishing Matrix!]
Grey opened his eyes.
The corrupted being sensed the change immediately.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
It surged toward him with all its power, abyssal energy forming into massive tendrils that sought to destroy him.
Grey didn’t move.
He simply willed the universe to end.
The Thought-Demolishing Matrix activated.
BOOM!
Space shattered like broken glass, time unraveled into nothing, matter dissolved into pure energy that quickly faded into the void.
The corrupted being screamed as its existence unraveled along with the universe it had consumed.
"IT worked!" Grey couldn’t be more excited.
It worked because of mainly due to the nexus energy and him having a source, now he understood why the thought-demolishing needed a source.
Having a source made it easier to provoke such a power, you are one within yourself and the source was the subconscious and that in turn gave birth to the thought-demolishing frequency. The Chaos Reboot just made your source vibrate a frequential vibration that was to destroy.
Grey gathered the origin power that remained, the fundamental energy of the destroyed universe flowing into his storage.
Then he stepped back into the void where Alan waited.
Alan stared at him with a dumbfounded expression.
"You destroyed it?" Alan’s shock was evident. "You destroyed an entire 12th plane universe?"
Grey smiled. "Find me more."
"I’ll get to it." Alan’s fingers moved across the controls, his expression still carrying shock. "It seems like whatever you were working on worked in the end."
Grey nodded, he didn’t mention anything more.
Matter of Thought-Demolishing will stay with him.
The Reality Ship moved through the 12th plane of existence, hunting for more corrupted universes.
They found many.
The abyss had spread its corruption far and wide across this dimensional plane. Countless universes hung on the edge of death, their Origin Wills consumed by corruption beings.
Grey destroyed them one after another.
Each time, he gathered what origin power remained and moved on to the next.
But there was a problem.
Since these universes had been corrupted by the abyss, most of their origin power had already been drained. Each destroyed universe provided only a fraction of what a healthy universe would contain.
Grey needed to destroy many more to gather enough energy for Origin Will’s evolution.
Days passed within the 12th plane.
Alan’s navigation systems tracked down every corrupted universe they could find.
Grey eliminated them without hesitation and his Thought-Demolishing Matrix became more refined with each use.
Finally, they reached the last corrupted universe in the region.
"This is the final one I can detect." Alan reported.
Grey stepped out of the ship and crossed into the universe.
The moment he entered, he frowned.
Something was different about this place.
