Grey manages to overpower a powerful Ascendancy projection summoned by Shroud Heaven using a new, reality-bending power. He then uses this energy to rapidly advance his cultivation, forming his first true singularity and reaching the seventh rank. He takes a moment to shield and interact with Alissa before agreeing to keep his existence secret from others as he begins searching for Lin Fang.

Grey and Alissa urgently made their way towards the coordinates Alan had provided.

Upon arrival, they found themselves in a mystical forest, characterized by incredibly dense and colossal trees reaching for the sky.

"He's concealed within the tree's bark," Alan stated, indicating one of the enormous tree trunks.

"It's a clever tactic. By merging with the essence of this world, his aura becomes intertwined, making him significantly more difficult to detect."

"This young man shows remarkable cunning," he added.

Grey offered a slight nod and advanced. With a nonchalant flick of his wrist, the sturdy bark splintered and disintegrated.

"AHHH! Myriad Solar Pulse Technique!" Lin Fang shrieked in a panic. Confronted by the sudden, blinding light of day, he instinctively unleashed a scorching beam of solar energy directly at Grey.

However, Grey effortlessly sidestepped the attack.

"Please don't take me away. I'm just an ordinary fellow with nothing of value!" Lin Fang pleaded.

A stunned silence fell upon everyone present.

Grey then turned his attention to the Spirit Ancestor, Aerin, and Alan.

"I wish to speak with him privately. Please remain here."

With a wave of Grey's hand, the surrounding space warped dramatically. In an instant, a secluded sub-dimension materialized within the magical forest, encompassing himself, Alissa, and Lin Fang. This marked the genesis of the first sub-dimension in this particular world's history, as no being had previously possessed both a profound mastery of the Law of Space and seventh-rank cultivation to achieve such a feat.

Manipulating this newfound space was now a simple matter for him.

"It's you, Brother Grey," Lin Fang said, a sheepish grin spreading across his face as he lowered his now dimming hands. "What a coincidence meeting you here. How did you manage to find me?"

"I simply stumbled upon this place by chance," Grey responded with an unexpressive countenance.

"Are you aware that your actions nearly endangered the entirety of endless reality by attracting the attention of a Paragon?"

"..." Lin Fang's lips twitched slightly at the reminder.

"What could I do? I'm just one person. I don't possess your strength, Brother Grey," Lin Fang sighed, a hint of resignation in his voice.

"Also, it has been quite some time, Alissa." Lin Fang offered a polite smile to Alissa, which was met with nothing but an indifferent, icy glare.

"In any case. What happened with the Paragon, Brother Grey? Why are you here and not him?"

"He killed him," Alissa replied softly. "He annihilated the Paragon."

"How did you manage to overcome Ascendancy Power?" Lin Fang asked, utterly astonished.

"I utilized the power of friendship," Grey answered, his eyes blinking innocently.

"The power of what, exactly?" Lin Fang inquired, a look of utter bewilderment on his face.

"Enough questions for now." Grey scrutinized Lin Fang from head to toe. "How did you arrive at this location?"

"Well..." Lin Fang's expression turned conflicted. "It's not something I can easily reveal to just anyone. Are you certain it's alright for Alissa to be present?"

"Why wouldn't it be?" Grey tilted his head. "She is with me, and she won't disclose anything to others."

Reassured, Lin Fang nodded. He reached into his inventory and retrieved a peculiar shard of bark that emitted a vibrant, multi-colored luminescence.

"What is this?" Grey asked, his curiosity piqued.

"Hey, hey, Perfect One. It's me, the World Tree's Consciousness! Call me Little Tree!"

Grey regarded the glowing bark with surprise. "Are you the primary consciousness?"

"Not the primary one. I represent the localized consciousness of this universe's World Tree. However, the main consciousness had already shared the memories of its encounter with you."

"I was always aware of your existence and knew you possessed the capability to overpower Ascendancy Power. Witnessing it firsthand, however, has genuinely surpassed my expectations."

"Can you perceive the Creator Space?" Grey inquired further.

"Indeed, I can," the Tree responded from within the multi-colored bark. "My roots are deeply embedded within this universe, after all. I could naturally sense the new power you have cultivated."

"So, how did Lin Fang end up here then? Did you open a portal for him?"

"No. He was fleeing from Shroud Heaven when I happened upon him. Perceiving the clash between the Earth Transmigrator Aura and the Paragon Aura, I was certain that if intervention was not made, the entire endless reality could face doom."

"I expended a considerable amount of power to transport him here, to the Elf Alliance territory, making detours through random planets solely to keep the Paragon occupied."

"Couldn't you have simply brought him to my planet?"

"I cannot," the World Tree responded. "The Origin Will imposes restrictions on me outside the Elf Alliance's territory, and the Paragon had enacted a jamming spell. This prevented me from communicating until this moment. He did this specifically to thwart any attempts to rescue Lin Fang. Consequently, I was also unable to provide warnings to you or the Spirit Ancestor before your arrival in this realm. My only recourse was to hope that you, carrying the Heavenly Mandate, would eventually enter this domain. Fortunately, it appears everything has resolved favorably in the end."

This explanation was logical. This entire predicament could have been swiftly resolved had I conferred with the Spirit Ancestor, who was affiliated with Helios. The Helios organization would undoubtedly intervene if a Paragon were to hunt down a fellow transmigrator from Earth.

"It also clarifies why the main consciousness did not apprise me of your existence. You were similarly unable to relay any messages to the main consciousness, were you?"

"Indeed," the Tree confirmed with a lighthearted tone.

"It is a relief that everyone is now safe," Grey commented.

Suddenly, a familiar mechanical voice resonated, unmistakably belonging to the Golden Finger Grey had grown accustomed to.

[Greetings, Lord Grey. It has been some time.]

"Yo. How have things been, Golden Finger? How's the parasitic relationship with Lin Fang treating you?" Grey inquired with a playful smirk.

[It appears you possess a comprehensive understanding of the Golden Finger Race's internal dynamics, Lord Grey. As expected of you.] The system's voice lacked any trace of surprise.

[Lin Fang and I have been faring exceedingly well. Following our departure via the spatial aurora, we encountered the Demi-Human Alliance. This region is home to numerous individuals with protagonist-level destinies. Through our concerted efforts, Lin Fang has successfully attained Level 5 System authority.]
