Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven Chapter 512: Alissa has been acting strange lately

Gaia experienced a mixture of exhilaration and bewilderment.
"You are most welcome," Grey responded with a subtle grin. "Such a feat is trivial for me."
His statement was the absolute truth. At this juncture, his personal might had ascended to a level where even deities could not rival his raw power.
In terms of individual prowess, he stood at the zenith of existence. Naturally, the Primordial Paths remained an unknown factor, demanding his caution. He was eager to unravel their mechanics and potentially integrate their principles into his own cultivation journey.
"You are now at liberty to traverse the cosmos, and you have gained access to the Star Spirit chat system, correct?" Grey inquired with a smile.
"Indeed, I have," Gaia confirmed, her eyes alight with wonder. "I never imagined such a function existed for Star Spirits."
"Precisely," Grey nodded. "The universe teems with marvels, and there remains much I have yet to comprehend."
[And all this was conjured by your Core.]
Finality's voice echoed lazily within his consciousness.
'It is not my Core,' Grey retorted, feeling a touch speechless.
[Since you command the Nexus energy, you might as well consider yourself its master.]
[After all, no one can manipulate it without the power of Nexus,] Finality elaborated.
'A valid point,' Grey conceded with a nod.
"Very well, I shall depart now," Grey announced with a smile, initiating his teleportation back to the central tower.
Several days had elapsed since he entered the Creator Space. The time dedicated to path simulation, though feeling instantaneous to him, had still passed in the real world.
Upon his arrival, he observed Melissa and Angela engaged in a discussion.
Their conversation appeared to concern matters of great importance.
The moment Grey manifested, both women turned their attention towards him.
"You have returned," Angela stated. "Grey, there's something we wish to discuss with you."
"What is it?" Grey asked, his curiosity piqued.
Angela and Melissa exchanged glances before speaking in unison. "It pertains to Alissa..."
"She is feeling depressed?" Grey was taken aback. "You might be mistaken. She possesses a naturally aloof and stoic disposition. It's possible her inherent demeanor is being misinterpreted as sadness."
"It is not merely her demeanor. Do you think I do not understand my own daughter?" Melissa countered, shaking her head. "As a True Source Dragon, I can perceive my daughter's distress with absolute clarity."
"She has ceased interacting with us or anyone else. She merely wanders aimlessly through the Zen gardens you established, day after day, after waking."
"Hmm. I shall speak with her," Grey assured them with a nod.
Melissa and Angela brightened considerably at his words.
Moments later, Grey vanished, and the two mothers exchanged an excited clasp of hands.
"It has worked. Moreover, it appears he holds genuine affection for Alissa. That is a profoundly encouraging sign," Melissa remarked, breathing a sigh of relief.
"Indeed," Angela concurred, nodding in agreement.
These two matriarchs were, in fact, subtly orchestrating a potential romance between their children.
Their intentions were transparent. Nevertheless, their concern for Alissa was also genuine; she had indeed seemed withdrawn for some time.
Whoosh!
Grey's form materialized within one of the tranquil Zen gardens. There, Alissa sat upon a wooden bench, surrounded by vibrant flowers and verdant trees. Her immaculate white hair stirred gently in the breeze as she gazed upon the blossoming flora, her expression devoid of any discernible emotion.
Unbeknownst to her, a considerable assembly of men had congregated at a distance, silently observing her with captivated gazes.
"Damn, the Nexus Domain is truly unparalleled. They even feature a top-tier beauty as an attraction in this Zen garden. I frequent this place often now and always catch sight of this exquisite dragon maiden."
"I have no desire to depart the Nexus Domain. I literally expended my last cosmic credits to purchase a residence here, solely to behold her beauty each day."
"Does anyone here feel brave enough to approach her?"
"Who would dare? She is a fearsome cultivator. She subdued some arrogant young masters just the other day without even exerting herself."
"Intriguing."
Grey hovered in the air, privy to their hushed conversations. A chuckle escaped him.
He harbored no apprehension of anyone attempting to take advantage of Alissa; she possessed more than sufficient strength to defend herself.
With a clap of his hands, a shimmering spatial barrier materialized, enveloping the inner confines of the Zen garden and setting it apart. Alissa, acutely aware of the spatial distortion, turned her head to behold Grey, who had already descended gracefully beside her.
"May I sit here, my wife?" Grey inquired, a playful, teasing glint in his eyes.
"Who is your wife?!" Alissa shot Grey a sharp glare. "Cease addressing me in such a manner."
"But you were the one who boldly declared your intention for me to become your mate so we could conceive healthy dragon offspring," Grey countered, adopting a facade of perfect innocence as he settled down on the bench beside her.
"Y-You!" Alissa’s expression immediately turned heavily flustered upon hearing this. With an annoyed, embarrassed look, she attempted to stand up and leave. However, Grey gently grasped her wrist, pulling her back down onto the bench.
"Come on, let’s talk," Grey said with a small, calming smile. "I promise I won’t call you my wife... at least until our conversation concludes."
"..." Alissa ground her teeth upon hearing this, but she made no further attempt to stand.
"How do you like the garden? You’ve been frequenting it quite a bit recently. Do you find it pleasing?"
"This garden... I completely replicated its layout from the Arclight family’s home planet. It’s truly excellent. That’s precisely why I incorporated it."
Alissa merely hummed softly in response.
"I heard you haven’t been conversing with the others lately. Is your Idol career not progressing well?"
"I haven’t received a single call from the agency since arriving here, and the same applies to Julie and Miwa. It’s likely due to you," Alissa stated softly. "But, I’ve kind of lost the desire to continue as an idol anymore. My initial motivation for joining was solely to escape the Dragon Clan. To get away from the solitary confinement-like room they confined me to after I was compelled to return to them."
"However, you took care of the dragons for me," Alissa added, slowly turning her gaze towards Grey.
"I merely did what was necessary," Grey replied with a light chuckle.
Alissa hummed softly once more as a reply.
"So, tell me, why are you not speaking with anyone? Why are you dedicating all your time alone in this garden? Your mother mentioned you’ve been exhibiting this behavior for some time now."
