Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven Chapter 502: Finality spoke again
Previously on Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven...
With the balance of supply and demand achieved, an increasing number of residences and structures began to materialize. From various corners of the Nexus Domain, individuals commenced live broadcasts, discussing the world, the simulation tower, and other pertinent topics.
Presently, the Nexus Domain occupied the absolute epicenter of attention within the Human Alliance. However, its existence wasn't concealed for long, as news soon permeated other alliances, even reaching the ears of the Crystal Zerg race.
"What sort of world is this?" A figure was seated upon a somber, obsidian throne on a planet devoid of light.
"My Lord, this planet was conjured by an individual who recently attained godhood. Nevertheless, their might is extraordinarily immense; they annihilated the Immortal Sovereign Palace not long ago."
"Hmm. Shall we await the arrival of the Abyssal Dukes?"
"Indeed. We shall then proceed to vanquish this Saint."
---
Whoosh!
Grey's form sliced through the skies above the Nexus Domain as he entered the central tower. Within, his parents, his sister, Alissa, her parents, Lia, Little Hong, and Valeria were engaged in conversation.
"I have returned," Grey announced to his parents.
"You child." Angela cast a glance at Alissa, Lia, and Valeria, then returned her gaze to Grey, utterly speechless. Her son, who hadn't garnered much attention from girls in his prior world, was now a constant magnet for them. Most significantly, he now had a daughter!
Angela was seated beside Little Hong, gazing at her with profound affection. Little Hong, meanwhile, remained seated silently, offering nods and brief replies to Angela’s inquiries.
"Perfect timing. Since everyone is present, I wish to convey something of importance," Grey stated softly.
"Should we excuse ourselves?" Wang Lin and Melissa inquired.
Given that everyone else present was family, they assumed a private discussion was imminent.
"No. There is no need for you to leave," Grey replied, his tone carrying a hint of seriousness. "This matter pertains to the boundless reality and my past."
"You mean..." Angela looked towards Wang Lin and Melissa, then let out a sigh. "In truth, I believe Wang Lin possesses the right to be privy to this information."
"I concur entirely," Anderson added. "As we are to become family in the future, there is nothing that needs to be concealed here."
"..." Alissa regarded Anderson with a startled expression upon hearing his words.
"I have no intention of marrying this fellow," Alissa declared indifferently, though a deep blush had already spread across her face.
A soft ripple of laughter passed through everyone present at her statement, particularly from Melissa.
Soon after, all settled into their seats, and the conversation commenced. They began from the very inception, and Grey started to elucidate everything to the assembled group.
"I harbored my suspicions," Wang Lin confessed with a heavy sigh. "Upon regaining my memories, the first individual that occupied my thoughts was you, Grey. Your demeanor and sudden surge in power, surpassing even that of a genuine True Dragon, led me to believe you were some ancient reincarnated being. But this..." Wang Lin was astonished. Grey was not an ancient monster as he had initially surmised. No! He was merely an ordinary resident from a realm utterly devoid of spiritual energy.
Melissa, conversely, observed Alissa with an even broader smile, gently nudging her daughter, who sat like a frozen statue, clearly irritated by her mother's reaction to the revelation.
"And that is precisely where what I am about to share comes into play," Grey remarked, glancing at Angela and Anderson, both of whom appeared puzzled.
Following this, Grey began to elaborate on the paragons and the Core responsible for the creation of reality, as well as the fact that this Core was located within their original universe.
"A Core that fashioned the boundless reality?" Melissa exclaimed, stunned. "Oddly enough, I possess some knowledge of this."
The moment she uttered these words, all attention shifted towards her.
"It came to me in a dream," Melissa affirmed with a deeply serious nod.
"..." A collective silence fell upon everyone, while Alissa facepalmed.
Why did her mother have to be like this? Who truly placed faith in dreams?
"In a dream? Kindly elaborate. As a True Source Being, your dreams must be directly connected to the Origin," Grey posited. "A True Dragon is also a creation of the boundless expression that birthed the gods. Is that not correct, Lia?"
Lia offered a nod. "Yes, that is accurate."
"I couldn't grasp much of it, but one day, a light appeared in my dream and spoke of a Core. The light instructed me to find it, and if I succeeded... I would obtain something akin to the Ascendancy Valor of a Paramount?"
"..." Grey and Lia exchanged bewildered glances simultaneously.
This revelation far surpassed anything they had anticipated.
"The light that communicated with you was likely the boundless expression that gave rise to the True Dragons."
"Indeed. I believe so as well," Lia concurred.
"But what precisely is Ascendancy Valor?" Melissa inquired, tilting her head. "Why have I never encountered this term before?"
"It's a significant power within the Ascendancy Domain, revered by True Dragons and gods alike. While others can attain it, the difficulty is immense."
"Even a single index of Ascendancy Valor can grant tremendous strength. Beings who have transcended space and time would still be easily overwhelmed by someone possessing just one index."
"As for the Paramount level of Ascendancy Valor... I honestly don't know. It's likely in the millions or even billions," Grey stated.
At that moment, a mysterious voice resonated directly within his mind.
"It exceeds one million."
"It's you, Finality," Grey exclaimed in surprise. "Why did you suddenly speak? You've remained silent since I reached the summit of Nexus to anchor myself."
"I wasn't inclined to," Finality responded. "Furthermore, that information layer... in the Ascendancy Domain, it's referred to as the Quantum Realm."
"Is that right?" Grey asked, genuinely astonished. "Why reveal this now and not when we were discussing it with the gods?"
"I did not wish for the gods to sense my presence. You may not be aware, but those gods, with the exception of the God Empress, are under constant surveillance by the very entity that created them. I have no desire for it to find me through them."
"That woman who dreamt of the light shares the same predicament. However, your nexus energy acts as an impenetrable shield, thwarting its surveillance. So, you are safe here."
"The inhabitants of the Ascendancy Domain constantly seek to pilfer my powers for nefarious purposes. I find it distasteful."
"But you... you are different. You are good," Finality added. "You may utilize my power to your heart's content."
"Is this because I possess the Nexus energy?" Grey inquired, his curiosity piqued.
"I'm uncertain. Perhaps," Finality replied nonchalantly.
