Grey learns from Kaelith about the Fateless Ones, paragons from the Ascendancy Domain, and the nature of the Abyss. He discovers that ascendance to higher worlds requires Ascendancy Valor, which is earned through deeds deemed worthy. Kaelith explains that paragons are suppressing their power in this world while searching for the Core, and that Pangu sacrificed himself to save his siblings and the Primordial Axe. The paragons then fragmented the remains of the Chaos Emperor and Pangu’s siblings. Finally, they discuss the Law of Finality and the Cube of Finality, which is influencing the entire reality towards an end.

So, the controller to Finality was essentially in his grasp. Yet, the words spoken by Finality remained vividly etched in his memory.

Finality represented a critical component of the Nexus. Having achieved comprehension of this aspect and earned the Crown of Finality, he was now merely a single step away from his ultimate goal.

Now, all that remained was the law of fate?

However, he genuinely had no idea where to even begin searching for the law of fate, nor how he, a Fateless One, could possibly study such a concept. The irony was palpable.

'What are your thoughts on this revelation, Fragment? Are your memories beginning to resurface?' Grey posed the question to the Fragment.

[Nothing concrete. I do, however, vaguely recall some of the details mentioned by the god Kaelith. I remember being injured.]

[But it all makes sense now. If this god's account holds any truth, then we might be facing a truly dire situation.]

'Lin Fang, I see.' Grey nodded his head.

The Core resided in his original world, the very center of the multiverse. The sole method of accessing this world involved having someone from that realm guide the way. While the exact mechanics remained unclear to him, Lin Fang hailed from the same world. Should the paragons discover this fact, they could potentially infiltrate that realm and seize the Core. This was the very last outcome they desired at present.

For the time being, his objective was crystal clear: locate Lin Fang and investigate any other potential transmigrators from Earth.

"Regardless," Grey's gaze swept over the god. "You have two choices presented to you. You can continue residing here, or you can accompany me back to my Nexus Domain."

"We shall follow wherever the Empress leads." Kaelith turned to address his assembled followers, who all voiced their agreement.

"Naturally, she will be heading to the Nexus Domain," Grey stated with an air of undeniable certainty.

The Empress in question was currently nestled in Grey's lap, clinging to him tightly as she reveled in the moment. Lia seemed completely unfazed by the discussion unfolding between the gods and Grey, her focus entirely on her man. The secure embrace provided her with a profound sense of peace.

"Hello? Is anyone in there?" Grey lightly tapped Lia's head.

She looked up, her eyes shining with an innocent brightness. The Lia who had once resided in the old Nova City was no longer recognizable, having ascended to the 5th rank. The current Lia possessed a beauty that was amplified a hundredfold, boasting an exquisite and perfectly proportioned figure. Clad in a form-fitting outfit that accentuated her stunning physique, this was the captivating beauty currently clinging to Grey like a devoted koala.

"Shall we depart then?" Grey inquired, gently ruffling Lia's hair.

"Okay." Lia responded with a nod, a faint blush gracing her cheeks. Her gaze lingered on Grey's face, conjuring up fantasies that caused her to feel shyly flustered.

Little Hong couldn't help but roll her eyes at Lia's visible reaction.

This divine god was, in truth, a rather licentious individual, indulging in lewd thoughts even in public.

While Little Hong couldn't perceive Lia's thoughts directly, she possessed an uncanny intuition regarding their nature.

"Shameless," Little Hong muttered, clicking her tongue.

Nevertheless, Little Hong had, in her own way, come to terms with the situation.

She was older than this entire universe, yet she was the offspring of two individuals who had only recently transitioned from adolescence to adulthood—or rather, one who had barely crossed that threshold and another who was still a teenager. At this unprecedented rate, by the time of the final chaos seal, she would have surpassed them in age! This was an outcome she absolutely could not permit. The thought of appearing older than her own parents was simply too mortifying.

Shortly thereafter, Kaelith convened all the gods in the grand hall of the palace. The assembled deities descended with expressions tinged with apprehension, only to witness a man devoid of any divine aura embracing the God Empress with one arm, while the formidable Primordial Axe remained firmly grasped in his other hand.

"..." The gods found their mouths suddenly dry.

Silence descended upon the hall. They were acutely aware of the man's formidable capabilities; a single misspoken word could easily seal their doom.

"Now, how shall we reach the Nexus Domain?" Grey, having resolved the immediate matters, found himself confronted with a new quandary.

He had successfully navigated to the other side of the domain, the clandestine location where the Origin Will resided amongst evolvers following the Origin Body Evolutionary Path. This was the realm of gene optimization, a universe akin to his own, yet populated exclusively by gene optimizers.

'What do you advise, Heavenly Dao? Should we consult the Origin Will?'

[It is likely inadvisable. You may not be aware, but the Origin Will possesses no authority to intervene directly in affairs unless the world itself faces imminent peril. Its only justification for revealing this location and facilitating your teleportation was your direct threat to annihilate it, a response born of self-preservation. Every instance of an Origin Will's intervention necessitates communication with the Heavenly Dao, and in some cases, leads to punishment from it.]

"What?" Grey expressed his astonishment upon hearing this revelation.

[I remained silent previously because you were adamantly determined to sacrifice someone to retrieve Lia and Little Hong.]

"I feel rather regretful now," Grey confessed, a bitter expression crossing his face.

He had issued a threat to the entity, yet it had upheld its end of the bargain, undeniably sending him to this gathering of gods. He had never anticipated such unforeseen repercussions.

"Hey, Origin Will. If you can hear me, I simply wanted to offer my apologies," Grey declared, stepping forward to express his regret.

Though it might have felt intrusive, it was undeniably a gesture of goodwill.

Abruptly, a disgruntled voice echoed within Grey's mind. "Hmph, it's not as if I desired your apology! I've already faced punishment from the Heavenly Dao."

"Now, I'm uncertain if siding with the ancient Heavenly Dao was the correct choice."

"Ultimately, I endured eons of waiting, only to be threatened with annihilation by the very entity I anticipated."

Grey fell into a contemplative silence upon hearing these words. He could sense the profound sadness emanating from the Origin Will.

"I truly am sorry," Grey reiterated with a heavy sigh.

A genuine sense of remorse washed over him now.

This solitary world had yearned for its master, only to be forsaken due to a moment of anger.

"I must cease depending excessively on others and learn to control my emotions," Grey mused, seizing this moment for self-reflection.
