Grey learns from Kaelith that the God World is a fragment of the Ascendancy Domain. The gods reveal their task is to find a Core, previously held by the Chaos Emperor, which is tied to the very concept of existence and is the key to perfection. Grey also comprehends a new technique, 'God-Tier Override: Information Void', after observing the gods' attempt to corrupt the information layer, which he identifies as the Akashic Records.

"What was that?" Kaelith inquired.

"Nothing," Grey replied, shaking his head. "Now, enlighten me about these paragons and those creatures of darkness."

"The creatures of darkness originate from the Abyss," Kaelith stated, his head moving in a negative gesture. "You may not be aware, but the Abyssal God is formed from a fragment originating from the Ascendancy Domain. The same holds true for the Heaven’s Origin, Tian Yuan. Both represent forces that even the paragons would hesitate to confront."

"They all wield fragments of a supreme power and are commonly recognized as the Fateless Ones."

"Ah," Grey blinked, absorbing this revelation.

"Regarding Tian Yuan, what is his grievance with the heavens?"

"I am uncertain," Kaelith responded, tilting his head. "However, he actively endeavors to dismantle higher worlds. He harbors animosity towards the former Heavenly Dao, the construct created by the Core and its operational principles, and has thus set destroying all higher worlds as his objective."

"He has not yet achieved this goal due to the intervention of the paragons."

"Some speculate he even harbors ambitions involving the annihilation of higher worlds, potentially utilizing that destructive power, which emits a frequency that defies the very notion of dimensionality, as a means to ascend."

"However, for any being to ascend to a higher world is an undertaking fraught with difficulty."

"Ascendancy Valor is a prerequisite."

"Ascendancy Valor?" Grey found himself momentarily lost for words.

"Indeed. Beings within the Ascendancy Domain are bestowed with endless and boundless valor from birth."

"We gods also possess valor, an index that brings us close to the threshold of ascension. The boundless expression that gave us birth granted us this Ascendancy Valor, yet it intentionally withheld its full measure, preventing us from reaching higher worlds so that we might instead fulfill our designated roles within the endless reality."

"How does one acquire valor?"

"By undertaking actions deemed worthy of the Ascendancy Domain."

"Allow me to surmise. Actions such as gaining access to the information layer and facilitating its accessibility for others while adhering to one's own path?"

"Yes... that is indeed a potential method for earning valor," Kaelith replied, his eyes widening slightly. "How did you come to know this, Lord Grey?"

"I am acquainted with someone," Grey quipped, a slight twitch at the corner of his lips.

It was now apparent why this Tian Yuan fellow was so fixated on the information layer; it was all in pursuit of valor!

"And how may I obtain valor?" Grey inquired. Since he had already accomplished the prerequisite action, surely he was eligible for some?

"You cannot, not yet," Kaelith asserted, shaking his head. "Valor can only be unlocked after one transcends the concepts of space and time, effectively surpassing one's own dimensionality, and ascends to the God World, the True Source Being World, or the Evolution World situated far above."

"Hm? Evolvers?"

"Precisely," Kaelith confirmed with a nod. "We refer to our three realms collectively as the Transcendental Domain, or the transcendental plane of existence. This domain resides above the higher world, commonly known as the higher plane of existence."

"While others are precluded from becoming gods or True Source Beings, an evolver can indeed attain our level of power. Although they can never rival us in sheer might, the individual who pioneered that path was the Chaos Emperor. They are less powerful than True Source Beings such as True Dragons, yet simultaneously, they are genuine entities that have transcended the limitations of space and time, thereby gaining access to the valor index."

"A single point of Ascendancy Valor possesses the capability to obliterate one million beings who have transcended the concepts of space and time."

"Naturally, one does not instantly gain valor upon transcending space and time. There are additional stages and intricacies involved, but it is indeed feasible to perceive the presence of valor. Several notable figures throughout the endless reality have achieved this feat."

"And this is precisely where the paragons enter the picture."

"They are entities hailing from the Ascendancy Domain who forcefully breached the confines of the real world to descend into this fabricated existence orchestrated by the Core. They possess formidable valor, but the Core within our reality actively suppresses their power, reducing it to parity with our own level as gods, True Source Beings, and the inhabitants of the Evolution World."

"Their objective mirrors ours: to locate the Core."

"If the Core possesses the ability to suppress their power, could they not have triangulated its location through that mechanism?"

"No, Lord Grey. Locating the Core is far more challenging than it sounds. Not even Pangu could find it."

"It is believed to reside at the central nexus of the multiverse, the very heart of the endless reality. This is a location inaccessible and unusable by the power of valor or even our own formidable abilities."

"To them, the majority of events and occurrences beyond this central point are perceived as mere fiction. Certain entities gain access to the information layer, which contains vital intelligence regarding other realities, and subsequently document it as myths and legends."

"The sole method for discovering this location is by finding an individual from that realm and utilizing them as a conduit for entry."

"Our Primordial God possessed an innate ability to sense those who venerated him or even spoke his name."

"He could glimpse visions of that world through that connection, yet he could never locate it."

"..." Grey was completely taken aback.

The shattered Core of Nexus had been with him all along, back in his original universe!

This was an astounding discovery!

"So, I can only assume these paragons were the ones who sealed away Little Hong?"

"Indeed. They are the ones responsible for Little Hong’s confinement."

"Our Primordial God, Pangu, actually fathered immortals and the very idea of immortal cultivation. He joined forces with the ancient Heavenly Dao, who is our Primordial God’s brother, to bring forth numerous universes and higher planes of existence related to it, utilizing the Primordial Axe. Consequently, his Ascendancy Valor became comparable to the paragons. Perceiving him as a threat, the paragons brought about his end. The Primordial Axe was precisely the tool of creation forged by the boundless entity alongside Pangu and the Heavenly Dao, Tian Dao."

"The current Heavenly One is, in fact, an offshoot created by the paragons. It functions as a sentinel, designed by the paragons to monitor the world for the Core and also to suppress the principle of evolution."

"However, out of the three, Pangu was the sole one who truly perished."

"No, it would be more precise to say he offered himself as a sacrifice to shield the ancient Heavenly Dao and the Primordial Axe."

"He prevented the paragons from ever slaying his own kin by immolating his own valor. Once his siblings attained immortality, the paragons were left with no alternative but to shatter them."

"They appropriated the remnants of the Chaos Emperor, whom they personally annihilated upon realizing he could only access the powers of the Core without discerning its location. Subsequently, they enshrined the Primordial Axe within the Chaos Seal and dispersed the remainder of his remains throughout the infinite reality as if they were mere refuse."

"As for the ancient Heavenly Dao, the Abyssal God seized the opportune moment during the conflict to pilfer its fractured fragments and make his escape into the Abyss."

"Intriguing." Grey drew a profound breath, absorbing all the information.

Each piece was falling into place. It all made perfect sense now.

The reasons behind Little Hong referring to Pangu and the Heavenly Dao as her siblings, why the gods underwent reincarnation, and the nature of the events unfolding in the infinite reality.

"Yet, there remains something I find perplexing."

"What is Finality’s role in this entire affair?"

"Finality?" Kaelith flinched imperceptibly upon hearing the term.

"You might be unaware, but the Myriad Law of Chaos and the Law of Finality are conceptual regulations that only select beings are capable of cultivating. Merely those possessing unique physiques, such as a Fateless One, a Future One, or a Past One, can effectively harness them."

"This is because these laws embody a formidable force of advancement within the Ascendancy Domain. They are universally dreaded and feared. The fragmented Core contains these potencies, much like it harbors any other powers, but this particular fractured core holds the ominous laws, including the myriad laws of chaos and the law of finality, which have consequently seeped into our infinite reality."

"The influence of Finality is more pervasive than any other element."

"Even the God World is not unaffected by its reach."

"Through the pervasive influence of the Core, Finality attained self-awareness and evolved into what is now known as the Cube of Finality. As a direct consequence, the entirety of the infinite reality is inevitably progressing towards its ultimate conclusion, and not even the paragons possess the capacity to halt this trajectory due to Finality’s daunting dominion and its sovereign authority over reality."

"It is whispered that only a singular artifact can exert control over it, and that is the Crown of Finality, an object that mysteriously escaped from the Core and is imbued with immeasurable valor."
