Mystic Eyes: My Eyes Steal the Laws of Cultivation Chapter 605: Back to the Goals (2)

There was no sadness in his voice, only acceptance. A quiet understanding that the paths that had crossed that night now needed to separate, each following its own direction.
His destiny was not in the Sky Caravan either. He still needed to reach the Central Region, the heart of the cultivator world, where the greatest secrets and the greatest dangers awaited.
He still needed to discover more about his eyes, about the origin of his Innate Talent, about the path his cultivation should follow.
Kyrian stood up, his movements firm and determined. It was time to focus again. There were still things he needed to finish before leaving, goals to achieve, challenges to overcome.
The alchemy competition was nearing its end. Two more days, and then the final would come, the last stage before the winner was crowned. And Kyrian wanted to win. Not out of pride, not for glory, but for the prize at stake.
The main prize was the formula for the Earth Dragon Mist Pill, a rank 6 pill whose effects were mysterious. A recipe of that level was not something that could be easily obtained. Even within the greatest sects, rank 6 formulas were guarded like treasures, passed down only to the most trusted disciples.
Even if he did not intend to use the pill immediately, possessing the formula had enormous value. He could study it, understand the principles behind its composition, and learn from the wisdom of alchemists who had lived centuries before.
And, if he ever needed it, he could refine it himself, using his own knowledge and skills. Or simply sell it for a fortune, exchanging it for resources that would be more useful on his journey.
Kyrian had already learned enough about the world of alchemy to understand that certain recipes were far more valuable than the pills themselves. The formula was knowledge, and knowledge was power.
"I need to get that formula." His gaze became determined, a spark of focus in his violet eyes.
Then there was the battle competition. This one, however, held a different kind of importance. Kyrian couldn’t even remember exactly what the winner’s prize was, perhaps a spiritual weapon or a cultivation treasure; that wasn’t what interested him.
Ever since he had begun fighting with his cultivation reduced, every battle had served as a kind of extreme training, a forge that tested his limits and forced him to grow.
It was an opportunity to test his eyes, to push his perception beyond normal limits.
To test his Qi control, to learn to use every drop of energy with surgical precision.
To test his ability to find weak points, to identify the flaws in his opponents’ techniques. And, most importantly, to consolidate his new cultivation, to integrate the Third Mirror Eye into his meridian system.
The Third Mirror Eye had already reached the peak of the Qi Accumulation Realm. Kyrian closed his eyes for a moment, immersing his consciousness within his own body.
He sensed the third dantian, the small core of energy that pulsed in his forehead like a sleeping star. Qi circulated within it in an orderly manner, traveling through the meridians and continuously returning to the center, a perfect cycle that repeated without end.
It still wasn’t enough. But he was close, very close. The foundation was solid, the groundwork was firm, and each battle added a new layer of stability.
The limit imposed on his two main eyes would continue to exist for a few months, a restriction he couldn’t force through. Until then, he couldn’t simply continue increasing their power.
The two ocular dantians were locked at their current stage, like two suns that had reached their maximum size.
Therefore, his most important goal at that moment was something else. He needed to bring the third dantian to the same level so that all three would be balanced in power and potential.
When the three were balanced, when each of the three eyes operated at the same level, Kyrian couldn’t even imagine how much his strength would increase.
Three sources of Qi. Three dantians. Three eyes. Three systems working together in harmony, each feeding the others, each amplifying the others. Just imagining it already made his blood boil with anticipation, an anticipation he rarely allowed himself to feel.
Then there was the comprehension competition. This one awakened a different kind of curiosity, a more intellectual one. The prize was a Secret Technique, not exactly a cultivation technique nor a conventional battle technique, but something between the two.
A category that Kyrian still didn’t fully understand, whose limits and possibilities remained a mystery.
And precisely because of that, he wanted to see it. Perhaps it would be a useful tool that could expand his horizons. Perhaps it would be completely useless for his path, a curiosity that led nowhere. But not knowing, not having the opportunity to discover, was far more irritating than any disappointment that might come.
Finally, there was Sun Luguo. Kyrian thought of the old blacksmith master, his calloused hands, and graying smile. He still had a few days left in the Caravan, and each of them should be used to the fullest.
Learning to forge spiritual weapons from Sun Luguo was an opportunity he would probably rarely have again. A master of that caliber, with that level of knowledge and experience, was a rarity that could not be found everywhere.
The man was one of the greatest blacksmiths in that flying city, an artist of metal whose works were sought after by cultivators from various regions. Kyrian wanted to absorb every bit of knowledge possible before leaving, every technique, every trick, and every secret the old man was willing to share.
After organizing his thoughts, Kyrian finally entered the room. He changed clothes, his movements automatic as he put on simple sleeping clothes. He lay down on the bed and closed his eyes, feeling the mattress give beneath his weight.
Fatigue came quickly, a gentle weight pulling his eyelids downward. A few minutes later, his breathing became deep and steady, his body relaxing completely.
His consciousness sank, and then everything changed.
