Kyrian realizes his talent with the saber is not as great as with the sword. He accepts this and decides to continue cultivating using his sword. He opens his Mirrored Third Eye, which allows him to see and absorb Qi more effectively. He cultivates throughout the night, breaking through from the Fourth to the Sixth Stage of Qi Accumulation.

His third dantian expanded once again, its walls strengthening even further. The amount of Qi it could store had nearly doubled compared to the beginning of that night. The core pulsed with dense, radiant energy.

Even so... the absorption continued.

The Qi of heaven and earth seemed to answer the call of his eyes naturally, as though nature itself recognized the quality of his pursuit.

One hour after beginning his cultivation... another breakthrough.

Seventh Stage of Qi Accumulation.

Energy surged through every one of his meridians, a wave of pure power that cleansed every trace of impurity. His bones glowed with an inner light, his muscles grew stronger, and his organs were purified.

Then, slowly, the flow of energy returned to his third dantian.

Only then did Kyrian end the absorption.

The millions of luminous particles that had been dancing around him vanished from his sight as he slowly closed his eyes. His connection to the universe faded gently, like a thread being carefully unraveled.

A satisfied sigh escaped his lips.

Once again... he had crossed three minor realms in a single cultivation session.

If he wished, he could continue. His talent would allow him to advance even further. The energy was still there, calling to him, inviting him to take the next step.

But he did not.

His previous experience had taught him an important lesson. An unstable foundation could never support a towering building. A cultivator who advanced too quickly without consolidating each stage was building upon quicksand.

All three dantians needed to grow perfectly. Without flaws. Without cracks. Without shortcuts. Every stage had to be fully assimilated before the next could be reached.

Otherwise... all that power could become a limitation in the future. A cultivator with a weak foundation would never reach the highest peaks of cultivation.

’That’s enough for today,’ he thought calmly, his decision firm.

It was time to consolidate.

For approximately another hour, Kyrian remained completely motionless atop the stone. His eyes were closed, and his breathing was deep and steady.

The newly acquired Qi circulated through all of his meridians over and over again. Once, twice, ten times, a hundred times. Each circulation removed tiny impurities, eliminating every trace of energy that was not perfectly aligned.

He compressed the energy, making it denser and more powerful. He strengthened the foundation of this new realm, ensuring that every advancement would be solid and enduring.

When he finally opened his eyes again, it was already late at night.

The moon hung nearly at the center of the sky, its silvery light bathing the courtyard in a gentle glow. The stars shone brilliantly, scattered across the heavens like diamonds upon black velvet.

Kyrian slowly stood, his muscles relaxed, his mind clear.

His body felt light, as though a layer of weight had been lifted away. His Qi was completely stable, flowing through his meridians with a smoothness that had never existed before.

The three dantians worked in perfect harmony, each contributing to a single unified whole.

He entered the small house in silence, his footsteps soft against the wooden floor. The interior was dark, but his eyes adjusted quickly.

In the modest kitchen, he heated some water over a small spiritual furnace. The fire crackled softly, warming the metal pot.

He prepared tea using several mild spiritual herbs he had purchased a few days earlier, leaves that helped calm the mind and stabilize cultivation after consecutive breakthroughs. The infusion produced a golden liquid whose herbal fragrance quickly filled the room.

He drank each sip slowly, feeling the comforting warmth travel down his throat. The tea was smooth, slightly sweet, with a hint of bitterness that quickly faded away. The drink soothed his meridians, easing any lingering tension within his energy system.

Afterward, he placed the cup on the table, the sound of porcelain against wood echoing softly through the quiet night.

He extinguished the small oil lamp, plunging the room into darkness.

He walked toward his bedroom, his feet instinctively following the familiar path. His simple wooden bed waited there, with its firm mattress and soft pillow.

He lay down, feeling the weight of his body supported by the surface. The wood creaked lightly beneath him, a familiar sound that had already become part of his routine.

As he closed his eyes, only one thought crossed his mind.

Tomorrow... he would return to the alchemy competition, continuing his journey along the path he had come to enjoy. He would return to the arena, where new challenges and new opponents awaited him.

After that... he would return to Sun Luguo’s workshop, where he would continue learning the art of blacksmithing, where every hammer strike would bring him one step closer to mastery.

And between battles, blacksmithing, cultivation, and saber training... he would continue moving forward, one step at a time, on the path to becoming ever stronger.

...

...

Kyrian remained lying on the bed, silently staring at the wooden ceiling.

Normally, all he had to do was close his eyes, and the exhaustion from training and cultivation would quickly pull him into sleep. But that night, his mind remained wide awake.

Not because of the competition the following day. Nor the forge. Much less cultivation.

Something else occupied his thoughts. The dream from the previous night.

His eyes slowly closed as the memories returned with unusual clarity. The endless black void. The gigantic eye that seemed to exist above all things, silently observing everything around it.

And finally... that feminine silhouette.

Until only a few days ago, he had believed that only he and that colossal presence existed within that strange place. The appearance of that woman completely overturned that conclusion.

More importantly... she had spoken with Azhura’k.

Kyrian remembered that scene perfectly.

Although he had been unable to hear everything they said clearly, it was obvious that the two knew each other.

’Who was she...?’ he wondered silently.

’How did she know Azhura’k?’

And above all...

’What is that place?’

No answers came.

The more he reflected, the more questions appeared.

Was it a spiritual world? An illusion created by his eyes? Or perhaps... a place that existed beyond the boundaries of ordinary reality?

Kyrian let out a long sigh. For the first time in a long while, there was something he could not even begin to understand.

It was a strange feeling. An unfamiliar one. Yet not an unpleasant one.

If questions existed, then one day he would find their answers. That had always been the way he faced the unknown.

His thoughts drifted once more to the feminine silhouette.

She had seemed familiar with that place.

She had moved naturally through that endless black world, as though she belonged there.

If he were to meet her again... Perhaps he would finally uncover part of the truth.

"I hope you appear again..." he murmured almost inaudibly.

What he felt was not fear but curiosity. A curiosity every bit as intense as the one that drove him to study alchemy, blacksmithing, and every other path of cultivation.

Little by little, his thoughts began to slow. His eyelids grew heavy. His breathing settled into a slow, steady rhythm.

Without realizing exactly when it happened, Kyrian finally fell asleep. And once again, his consciousness slowly descended toward the mysterious world that existed beyond dreams.
