My Talent's Name Is Generator Chapter 926 A New Vivi
Previously on My Talent's Name Is Generator...
The tremors rippling through Vaythos intensified even further. Deep below the surface, the crystalline cocoon enfolding Vivi shuddered, first once, and then again, the expanding fissures finally reaching their breaking point. For a fleeting instant, an absolute stillness fell, as if the entire world had paused to hold its breath.
Then, the shell shattered.
The crystal fractured outwards, disintegrating into a fine mist of light that dispersed and vanished into the ambient heat. From within this dissolution, something emerged.
It was not the colossal phoenix witnessed earlier. Nor was it the diminutive flame phoenix.
It was a young woman.
Appearing to be in her early twenties, her stature was slender yet tall. Her hair cascaded in soft, deep violet waves that seemed to shimmer faintly, as if light itself flowed through them. Her eyes mirrored this hue, glowing softly with the same color, and a playful smile graced her lips.
She was adorned in a simple yet elegant dress, also tinted in shades of violet, its fabric moving with a lightness that defied the harsh surroundings. Tucked delicately into her hair was a single white flower, small and exquisite, providing a striking contrast against the darker tones.
For a moment, she remained stationary within the planet's core. Then, the fabric of space contorted.
In the subsequent instant, she materialized in the garden, standing directly before me.
I observed her intently.
At first glance, she presented as entirely human. Every detail was immaculate, from the way her hair lay against her shoulders to the gentle rhythm of her breathing. However, the more I focused, the more apparent it became.
She was not composed of flesh like myself. She was essence, refined and stabilized to such an extraordinary degree that her form flawlessly mimicked reality.
It was the epitome of perfection.
She inclined her head slightly, a gentle smile forming as her gaze met mine.
"Did you miss me?"
I exhaled softly, a faint smile mirroring hers appearing on my face.
"Yeah," I replied plainly. "I did."
Her smile widened imperceptibly at my response. Without hesitation, she turned and took a few unhurried steps away. Reaching out, her fingers grazed the bark of a nearby tree, then traced the leaves as if experiencing them for the very first time.
"It feels different," she murmured, her voice imbued with a sense of wonder. "Everything feels… clearer."
I watched her movements, marveling at the natural grace with which she interacted with her environment, how utterly at ease she seemed.
"How are you feeling?" I inquired.
She turned slightly, executing a graceful spin, the hem of her dress swirling gently before settling once more. "Good," she responded, a contemplative tone in her voice. "Better than before. Lighter… yet also more whole."
"That sounds like an upgrade," I commented.
"It is," she affirmed with a nod, then moved further away, crouching slightly to run her fingers through the grass. The blades yielded beneath her touch, responding as if she were any other natural entity.
"My perception has significantly changed," she continued. "Previously, I could perceive and sense everything across the planets I governed, but now…" she paused, gazing upwards for a moment, "…it's more refined. I don't merely observe events; I comprehend them with greater speed. Patterns, movements, shifts… it all coalesces."
I nodded slightly. "Galaxy-level processing."
She glanced back at me, a subtle grin playing on her lips. "Something like that."
"And control?" I asked.
"Much improved," she replied, rising to her feet. "I no longer require extensive focus. It feels innate now. Akin to breathing."
She approached me again at a leisurely pace, her hands drifting gently through the air as if testing the very space around us.
"And you?" she questioned. "What did you do while I was away?"
"A few upgrades," I stated casually.
"Only a few?" she inquired, raising an eyebrow.
I chuckled. "Sufficient to keep pace with you."
She stopped directly in front of me once more, studying my face for a moment before offering a soft smile.
"Yes, I can sense that," she said. "Something has undoubtedly shifted within you."
A newfound lightness and confidence resonated in her voice.
She remained before me for another moment, that gentle smile still gracing her features, then, without preamble, turned away as if drawn by something beyond the confines of the garden.
"What do you think of this place?" she asked casually.
Before I could offer a reply, the ground began to shift.
The edge of the cliff supporting the garden started to extend outwards, the very landscape reshaping itself. The garden's perimeter steadily expanded, curving around the capital city below, forming a vast, natural enclosure that began to resemble an immense crater cradling the metropolis.
I observed the ongoing transformation in silent contemplation.
She briefly glanced back at me, a flicker of amusement in her eyes. "It's simpler now. I don't need to concentrate on one aspect at a time anymore."
As her words were spoken, new trees began to sprout across the expanding terrain. Dozens of varieties appeared.
Each possessed a distinct shape, color, and structure. Some bore leaves of deep violet that gave off a faint shimmer, others displayed hues of gold and blue, while a few seemed nearly transparent, their branches capturing light in peculiar ways. The entire area quickly became filled, yet nothing felt cramped or unnatural. Every tree found its spot organically.
Simultaneously, the essence density also began to rise.
It increased sharply.
The capital city below responded at once, the flow of spiritual energy growing richer, heavier, and more potent. Even the atmosphere itself felt imbued with greater power.
"And this?" I inquired, surveying my surroundings.
"Improved growth conditions," she responded concisely.
Behind her, the colossal tree at the garden's heart commenced its transformation.
Its trunk thickened, expanding outward until it reached an astonishing size. The diameter alone swelled to nearly a hundred meters, its roots burrowing deeper, anchoring it firmly as its canopy spread wider, reaching across the sky.
I let out a soft breath. "You aren't holding back, are you?"
She gave a slight shake of her head. "There's no reason to."
She advanced once more, her fingers lightly tracing the surface of one of the newly formed trees as she continued to speak.
"I can perceive everything now," she stated, her voice softening, becoming more concentrated. "The entire galaxy. Every planet, every life form, every species… it is all perceptible."
"All at once?" I asked.
She nodded. "Yes. But it is no longer overwhelming. It is… ordered. I can focus on any element I desire instantaneously."
"That is certainly convenient."
"It is," she offered a faint smile, though her expression shifted subtly thereafter. "However, not all aspects are pristine."
I turned my gaze toward her. "What do you mean?"
"Remnants persist," she declared. "Deathmist… phantoms… abominations. They are dispersed across various regions. While not as prevalent as before, they are still present."
"So the cleansing is not yet complete."
"No," she confirmed with a shake of her head. "But it will be concluded."
She paused briefly, her gaze drifting upward as though she were looking far beyond the visible horizon.
"I can also sense the extremities," she continued. "The galactic boundaries. And the points of vulnerability."
My expression grew slightly more acute. "Vulnerability points?"
"Areas where the fabric is thin," she elaborated. "Where external forces might breach. Where rifts could potentially manifest."
"And?"
She looked back at me, her demeanor calm and assured. "I possess the capability to address those now."
A small smile graced my lips. "That is reassuring to know."
She nodded, but this time, her countenance did not regain its previous lightness.
"There is something else," she stated.
I immediately noted the change in her tone. "What is it?"
She hesitated for a mere fraction of a second before replying.
"I perceive… a constraint."
"A constraint?" I echoed.
"Indeed," she affirmed slowly. "As if something is absent. Not incomplete… but removed. A component that ought to be integrated with this, with myself… is no longer present."
I furrowed my brow slightly. "And do you know its location?"
Her eyes narrowed slightly as she concentrated.
"The Crimson Zone," she declared.
This caused me to pause.
"Are you certain?"
"I can sense it," she confirmed with a nod. "Whatever that missing element may be… it resides there."
Then she added, almost as an afterthought, "I can also perceive the system."
I observed her once more. "And regarding it?"
"It is present," she reported. "Ubiquitous. Intertwined with all existence within the galaxy."
"That is not a new revelation."
"No," she concurred. "But what is novel… is its perceived quality."
"And?"
She met my gaze directly this time.
"It does not belong in this place."
