My Talent's Name Is Generator Chapter 917 Blue Spiral
Previously on My Talent's Name Is Generator...
We remained in a state of anticipation.
Moments trickled by, the garden maintaining its tranquility. Even Silver stayed perfectly still, his gaze locked onto her.
After what felt like an eternity, almost ten minutes, the ethereal fluctuations subsided.
Vivi's eyes fluttered open.
"Yay! I can do what we planned... and even better than we imagined," she exclaimed, her voice brimming with sheer delight.
"I am immensely curious about your discussion," Silver remarked, crossing his arms loosely as he surveyed us.
"Well, there were two primary outcomes we speculated would occur if I gained dominion over so many planets," she explained. "Firstly, I would gain the ability to bestow my blessing or curse upon the inhabitants of these worlds. I've just confirmed... and yes, this capability is mine."
"Blessing or curse?" Silver queried, his eyes narrowing subtly. "Are you implying something akin to a talent?"
"You could conceptualize it that way," Vivi responded with a nod, "but it surpasses a mere talent. Consider it far superior. For instance, I can grant an individual access to the complete essence of Vaythos. Such a blessing would manifest as an endowment of infinite essence. Alternatively, I could bestow infinite vitality. And importantly, the system... acknowledges both these boons."
Silver released a soft exhale before directing his gaze toward me. "So, in essence, she's capable of overriding the system?"
"Precisely," I confirmed. "She possesses the ability to magnify a talent previously granted by the system... or to completely negate it by applying an opposing curse."
He let out a faint chuckle. "That's... decidedly overpowered."
Disregarding his observation, I refocused my attention on Vivi. "And the second anticipated outcome?"
"Ah, yes... I can achieve that as well," she declared, her tone regaining its buoyant quality.
In the instantaneous that followed, her form flickered.
Then, it multiplied.
One became two, and two became several.
Numerous Vivi duplicates materialized around us, each an exact replica, radiating the identical inherent presence. They drifted in diverse directions, some near, others distant, all moving with perfect autonomy.
"I can generate multiple avatars of myself," she announced, her voice resonating softly as every duplicate spoke in flawless unison.
Silver scanned the surroundings, initially appearing indifferent. "What is so remarkable about that?"
"They are independent entities," Vivi clarified. "My physical presence is no longer bound to any specific planet. This liberation allows me to be present anywhere... alongside you, or simultaneously across all the worlds I have assimilated."
This statement caused him to pause thoughtfully.
However, before he could articulate a response, her tone shifted subtly.
"However... the secondary test proved unsuccessful," she added, her voice softening slightly. The multitude of avatars ceased their independent movements.
I met her gaze. "You haven't acquired it?"
She responded with a negative shake of her head.
"No," she stated quietly. "I remain incapable of sensing a soul of my own. My existence is still intrinsically linked to your soul and essence... through the null core."
I released a slow, deliberate breath.
"Well, that outcome was largely anticipated," I remarked. "I suspect this is not something your solitary evolution can resolve. It is a matter that will require my direct intervention."
She signified her understanding with a nod, and the surrounding avatars began to dissipate, fading one by one until only two Vivis remained suspended in the air.
"In any case," I continued, deftly altering the subject, "are you looking forward to what lies ahead?"
Her eyes immediately ignited with renewed brilliance, a vibrant luminescence returning to their depths.
"Yes," she affirmed, unable to contain her palpable excitement. "I can feel it... and it is indeed imminent."
A faint smile touched my lips.
"Excellent. Silver, you are to return to Abor. Vivi and I have a journey to undertake."
"Where are you headed?" he inquired.
I glanced at him, then offered a subtle wink. "Well... we have a galaxy to conquer."
Without awaiting his reply, I turned my attention to Vivi. "Vivi, let us depart."
The fabric of space around us warped in the next instant, contorting smoothly as we vanished from the garden, reappearing just beyond the orbital boundaries of Vaythos.
The planet receded behind us.
I shifted slightly to face her. "Are you certain there will be no adverse effects if we venture far from Vaythos?"
"Not at all," she replied with casual confidence. "I have stationed one of my avatars behind. We are perfectly unencumbered to proceed."
I nodded, and she alighted gracefully upon my shoulder.
A subtle, ethereal silver radiance enveloped my form as I activated my Saint body.
Without further ado, I accelerated forward, piercing the void at phenomenal velocity, propelling us away from Vaythos.
In the distance, traversing the immense emptiness ahead, something colossal was approaching.
The galaxy's core.
The void unfurled endlessly around us as we breached the confines of the solar system.
Vaythos diminished behind us, its presence shrinking until it was but a faint spark amongst a myriad of others. The constellations grew ever sparser the farther we journeyed, their stellar light attenuating as the profound emptiness of interstellar space enveloped us.
The silver luminescence emanated steadily from me as I carved a path through the void.
"Would you like me to bestow a blessing upon you, Billion?" Vivi suddenly inquired through our mental link.
"Not right now," I replied. "But one day... I'll claim it for sure."
"Ohh... you seem to have something in mind already," she remarked, her voice laced with clear curiosity.
"I do," I confirmed.
Then, I paused. The expanse before us had transformed. The void wasn't empty anymore. A distinct presence was drawing near.
It exerted a subtle pressure, initially faint but becoming impossible to disregard once perceived. It wasn't hostile nor aggressive. The very fabric of space appeared to waver, as though something immense was traversing it, bending it merely by its existence.
Vivi drifted forward slightly, her playful expression vanishing.
"You sense it too..." she murmured.
I gave a nod.
My focus remained locked ahead. The darkness before us began to shift.
Initially, it resembled a distortion, a subtle ripple unfurling across the void. Then, the ripple intensified, expanding, stretching, until it evolved into something far grander.
And then, it appeared.
A colossal form started to materialize within the darkness.
It was blue.
A profound, radiant blue that seemed to hold countless layers, akin to innumerable stars condensed into a singular, fluid entity. Its movements were slow, yet each one traversed an unimaginable distance.
A serpent.
An immense celestial serpent, its body extending across the void, so vast that its complete length remained unseen. Portions of its form flickered in and out of visibility, as if it occupied multiple spatial dimensions concurrently.
Its scales gleamed with a soft luminescence, each one reflecting ethereal fragments of light that bore no relation to any nearby star.
And its eyes... Twin orbs of luminous blue, ancient and unfathomably deep, fixed directly upon us.
For a fleeting moment, all became still.
It didn't feel like we were being merely observed. It felt as though we were being acknowledged. Vivi hovered beside me, remarkably silent now, her earlier excitement replaced by an intense focus.
"That's..." she started, then fell silent.
She didn't need to complete her sentence.
I already knew. The sheer presence, the colossal scale, the manner in which space itself yielded to it... This was definitively not just another entity. This was the Galaxy Core.
The Blue Spiral, given physical form. The serpent's body continued its slow, coiling movement through the void as it drew nearer, its immense aura pressing against everything in its trajectory. Yet, there was no indication of hostility, no immediate intent to aggress.
I remained motionless, meeting its gaze without any hint of trepidation.
A subtle smile graced my lips.
"So..." I spoke softly, my voice unwavering despite the overwhelming presence before me.
"We finally meet."
