My Talent's Name Is Generator Chapter 916 Transformed Vivi
Previously on My Talent's Name Is Generator...
"Boss, I think Vivi has completed her transformation. You also should hurry over here," Silver's voice boomed through the psychic link, an unusual urgency in his tone immediately grabbing my attention.
Without delay, I sent back my acknowledgment. The next instant, I was on the move, stepping into the teleportation circle and allowing the fabric of space to warp around me. The shift was smooth, and a single heartbeat later, I materialized within Vaythos.
The very air felt altered, as though a significant change had occurred during my absence.
Silver was positioned some distance away, near the colossal tree. His gaze was fixed forward, and the moment I followed his line of sight, I grasped the reason for his intense focus.
The essence pool lay empty. Within its now barren basin, Vivi rested at the center.
Her phoenix form had achieved a colossal size.
What had once seemed immense now paled in comparison. Her body spanned the entire pool, her wings folded but still vast enough to dominate the surrounding area. Even from my vantage point, the sheer magnitude of her presence bore down on my senses. Relative to her, both Silver and I appeared negligible, scarcely larger than the claw of a single digit on her appendage.
For a brief period, I simply observed the spectacle.
"Well, would you look at that," I remarked, a soft chuckle escaping me as I angled my head toward Silver. "I thought you mentioned her transformation had concluded."
"You don't believe that signifies the end," Silver responded, indicating her colossal figure without averting his gaze. "And merely moments ago, her eyes opened, so I assumed it was finished."
I scrutinized her once more, extending my senses outward.
Her essence displayed no instability. There were no erratic surges, no indications of an incomplete metamorphosis. If anything, every aspect of her felt… stable.
"I perceive," I softly uttered before initiating my movement forward.
With each step closer to her, the ambient pressure intensified. It was not her intention, but the sheer density of her being was sufficient to weigh down the immediate environment.
Halting my advance once I was sufficiently close.
Then, without reservation, I extended my reach. "Greetings, Vivi," I projected through our mental link, my voice transmitting as clearly as if spoken aloud. "How fares your slumber thus far?"
The connection remained active, yet no reply was forthcoming.
I maintained my wait.
Just as I began to suspect the transformation was ongoing and started to subtly turn, a sudden ripple coursed through her form. It was faint, yet impossible to overlook. The surrounding essence began to swirl.
And then, her eyes fluttered open.
A profound violet luminescence emanated from them, holding a mystique that surpassed her previous state.
A moment later, her body stirred.
Vivi gracefully ascended from the drained pool, her immense physique lifting in a single, fluid motion until she stood to her full stature. The scale of her presence became even more apparent as she straightened, her shadow engulfing the garden.
"Simply breathtaking," Silver breathed.
Her form had undergone a radical change.
Vivi's entire body now radiated a deep violet hue, the color cascading organically across her plumage. Flames ebbed and flowed along her being in a consistent cadence, rising and falling as if synchronized with her very breath.
With a slight adjustment, she lowered her head, her colossal frame inclining just enough for her gaze to settle upon us.
"That was a truly blissful slumber I experienced."
Her voice resonated throughout the garden. The light, childlike tone she once possessed was gone, replaced by a calmer, more mature resonance, akin to that of an accomplished woman.
"Vivi," I addressed her, my gaze slightly narrowed as I looked upward, "could you perhaps adjust your current size? It is becoming rather strenuous to maintain this neck angle simply to observe you."
"Oh… I hadn't taken notice," she replied softly.
In the subsequent moment, her immense body commenced a rapid contraction. Within seconds, she had reverted to her familiar, palm-sized form, gracefully hovering in the air before alighting upon my shoulder.
"It is wonderful to have you back," I conveyed.
"Naturally. I bring good fortune," she chirped with a radiant smile, her voice instantly reverting to its characteristic cheerful, youthful cadence, as if the previous mature tone had never occurred.
I glanced at her momentarily before posing a direct inquiry: "How is your disposition at this very moment? Do any dark inclinations linger?"
"Umm…" she hummed, tilting her head slightly as if genuinely contemplating the question. "No, I believe my mood is quite positive. I currently have no desire to inhabit Lyrate's body or any other human vessel on Vaythos. Nor do I feel any urge to incinerate you with my flames. Therefore, I would state my mood is rather excellent."
A soft chuckle emanated from Silver behind me.
"I am relieved to hear that," I stated. "So, how has your progress been?"
"Oh, absolutely marvelous," she exclaimed, her mood instantly lifting. Detaching from my shoulder, she glided before us, practically vibrating with excitement. "But you know the most incredible part? I can simultaneously perceive, hear, observe, and even process all that occurs across every world whose cores I have consumed. All at once." She twirled in the air, sheer elation radiating from her. "For instance, I can inform you right this second that your grandmother is currently on Abor with Primus, mastering the art of fire control. Over on Kaalseris, Azalea is enjoying a leisurely bath. Her physique is quite exquisite, by the way. A localized conflict is unfolding on the planet Timental, as their armies have been unleashed following the closure of the rifts. And on nine separate worlds, their capital cities are adorned with bronze statues of Ragnar." I simply blinked. She delivered this information so nonchalantly, as if it required zero effort whatsoever. Billions of lives, innumerable events, all being monitored and analyzed concurrently. "Bronze statues of Ragnar?" I inquired, turning my head slightly. "Indeed," Silver responded, a hint of amusement in her tone. "He requested they be erected in his honor." "...I'm not even remotely surprised," I muttered before shifting my gaze back to Vivi. "What else?" "Well," she announced, ascending a bit higher in the air, "I now possess sufficient command to directly influence all those planets. Not just them, mind you, but even the very suns within their star systems. Any system containing a planet I've devoured… I can exert my will upon it." My eyes narrowed slightly. "How so?" She flashed a grin. "Gravity, Billion. I can manipulate it… affect it… and magnify it to any extent I desire." A clear tremor of excitement colored her voice now. "If you desire multiple moons for Vaythos, consider it done. Rings encircling the planet? Achievable. Another sun? That too. And so much more." She paused for a brief moment before adding in a more casual cadence, "And naturally, all other aspects have seen enhancements as well. Defenses, offensive capabilities, talent progression, the evolution of species… every single one has amplified manifold." I remained silent for a beat, observing her. This was auspicious… precisely the outcome we had anticipated. "What about the matter we discussed?" I queried. "Allow me to ascertain that," she replied, subsequently falling silent. "What matter, boss?" Silver inquired, glancing in my direction. "Something that will prove immensely beneficial in the long term," I answered. "Let's wait for her confirmation." Vivi hovered before us, her diminutive form becoming utterly motionless as her eyes gradually shut. The customary effervescence surrounding her subsided, replaced by an unusual tranquility. Concurrently, I could sense faint ripples emanating from her being, subtle in a manner I couldn't fully comprehend. Thus, I refrained from interrupting.
