Galactic forces mobilized over three days as the assault began. Billion teleported to the Elemental headquarters, where generals assigned him Grade 4 rifts in their territory. He obliterated all four single-handedly with Hand of Convergence, closing them swiftly and earning profound respect. During a brief rest, he secretly summoned Vivi, who devoured the hidden world core, advancing his Dawn Core and elemental law comprehension.

While observing Vivi as she absorbed the new world core, my mind wandered back to that evening on Abor when we devised the strategy to seize control of the world cores.

The celebration.

The clamor, the merriment, the brief peace before the chaos stirred once more.

I wandered through the grand hall, chatting with various envoys, with North staying close by my side throughout. Once I wrapped up a short discussion with the delegates from demon headquarters, I headed toward a person I hadn't encountered yet that night.

My grandmother.

She lingered a bit apart from the bustling crowd, watching it all with a gentle smile.

The instant I drew near, her gaze fixed on me intently.

"Have you handled everything properly?" she inquired, her concern evident in her tone despite her calm demeanor. "That attack came far too abruptly."

I offered a soft smile.

"Yes, Grandma," I answered. "Nothing like that will occur again. We've ensured it."

She examined me a bit longer, then gave a nod.

"Good."

A short silence followed before she continued.

"As I see it, Billion… you lack sufficient followers."

I lifted an eyebrow just a touch.

"You possess power," she went on, "you command presence… yet you don't have enough individuals serving you. You require more."

I refrained from disputing it. She spoke the truth.

"I concur," I stated. "However, I can't simply recruit strangers and anticipate success."

I pondered briefly before adding,

"I've considered establishing an academy. Drawing talent from Vaythos, training them thoroughly, forging something enduring."

Her face relaxed.

"That's a solid plan," she remarked with a faint smile. "I'll request the Emperor to ramp up the propaganda efforts."

I blinked in surprise.

"Ramp up the propaganda?" I echoed, a hint of bewilderment in my voice.

She nodded like it was plain as day.

"Indeed. Spread tales, wield influence, build your fame. Highlight your strength, your protection of the people, your leadership."

Her gaze grew keener.

"The aim is straightforward: foster loyalty to you personally. Beyond just Vaythos."

I glanced over at North. She let out a light chuckle, evidently entertained by this turn.

"Very well," I agreed with a subtle grin. "Proceed."

"We shall," my grandmother assured with confidence. "Matters like these… entrust them to us veterans."

Then she faced North.

"Billion, why don't you stroll around," she suggested, already grasping North's hand. "I wish to speak with her privately."

I blinked, momentarily taken aback.

"Uh… sure."

I retreated a step, eyeing them as they departed side by side, immersed in talk already.

And thus, I found myself dismissed.

I lingered there briefly, clutching my drink, as I watched my grandmother lead North away like all was settled. With a quiet sigh, I pivoted and set off toward Lyrate.

That's when the sensation hit me.

A presence abruptly appeared within the hall. I tilted my head up and scanned the chandelier overhead.

Perched upon it was Vivi in her phoenix form. She had just manifested, resting silently, her petite figure emitting a soft glow while surveying the scene below.

'Vivi, what brings you here?' I questioned via our link.

A momentary delay preceded her response.

"Billion… I feel sad."

I furrowed my brow faintly.

"Sad? What for?"

"Observe everyone," she urged, her tone blending curiosity with yearning. "They're all reveling. Feasting, imbibing, laughing… I yearn to join in."

I froze momentarily.

"I can't partake in any of it now," she added. "I'm merely formed from your Essence. No true body of my own. I desire one too."

For an instant, words escaped me.

It had never struck me this way previously. To me, she embodied a world. A vibrant system. An immense, potent entity.

But not… like this.

"Vivi," I uttered deliberately, "I lack the knowledge to grant you a body. Were I able, it would already be done."

"I know the method," she countered, a spark of thrill now in her voice.

I blinked.

"How so?"

"Through growing stronger," she explained. "I must consume mightier worlds. Doing so will grant deeper understanding. In my realm, I already spawn life, don't I? Tiny forms. Flora. Beasts."

She hesitated a second.

"With sufficient growth… I could craft a body for myself."

I gazed at the beverage in my grasp.

"Vivi… are you certain?" I pressed, seeking reassurance on her words.

"Umm… I believe so," she answered. "It resonates as truth. As an achievable path. Yet currently… I remain quite feeble."

I breathed out steadily.

"Fine, so you—"

"One more thing," she interrupted swiftly.

I halted.

"What is it?"

"There are stronger world cores than me right now," she said. "Much stronger. Which means I can grow a lot more."

It came as no surprise to me.

"There is also something above world cores."

My eyes narrowed just a touch.

"What is it?"

"The core of an entire galaxy."

Silence engulfed me for an instant. My heart pounded heavily once. A fresh idea sparked immediately.

"Galaxy core," she went on. "It forms when many high-level world cores resonate together. And if a world core becomes strong enough… the galaxy core starts resonating with it."

My fingers clenched tighter around the glass.

"What does that mean?"

"It means," Vivi said softly, "if I grow strong enough… the Galaxy Core will come to seek me out for resonance."

A pause hung in the air.

"And you… will be able to touch the core of the Blue Spiral Galaxy."

My response didn't come right away.

"Billion?" she called out.

A soft breath escaped my lips.

"Vivi… when did you become this cunning?" I remarked. "I can clearly see you trying to raise my greed."

She let out a light laugh.

"I just watch humans every day," she replied. "Of course I will learn something from them."

I shook my head a bit, a subtle smile tugging at my lips.

"I can come up with a plan to get stronger world cores for you," I said slowly. "But there is a problem. I don't want people to know we are taking them. I don't want the entire galaxy turning against me."

"I can handle that," Vivi said instantly.

I hesitated for a moment.

"You can?"

"Yes," she replied confidently. "I have been refining my control over the worlds I have already devoured. I can make them appear normal. Natural. No one will notice anything unless they go directly to the world core."

She paused once more.

"And even if they do… they won't be able to trace it back to me."

I lifted the glass and drained it in one gulp.

"Vivi…" I said quietly, "that is very good news."

A subtle smile appeared.

"And it came at the perfect time."

I set the glass down and gazed forward.

"Let me plan the rest."
