Forces mobilized rapidly after the alliance meeting to prepare for the assault on Grade 3 rifts. In Kaalseris' vast control room, projections displayed the Blue Spiral Galaxy's sectors, enhanced teleportation networks, intelligence streams, and reserves against Eternal retaliation, with Saints left to the protagonist. Operations were set for three days later, as the group anticipated strong responses from the Eternals while advancing a secret plan involving violet tokens to claim control of the galaxy.

Three days flew by swiftly.

Not in silence, but amid a mounting surge of activity spanning the whole galaxy. Fleets repositioned, teleportation hubs ignited sequentially, and communications streamed nonstop across sectors. Every race acted with intent, every faction maneuvering into the scheme already underway.

The hush preceding the storm proved short-lived.

And then, it erupted.

I positioned myself within one of the grandest teleportation hubs belonging to the Nagas on Kaalseris. The chamber loomed vast, excavated deep into a mountain of the world, arrayed with countless circular platforms over its floor. Each emitted a subtle glow, primed for immediate activation.

Disciplined soldiers patrolled nearby, their vigilance intensified far beyond routine. A coordinator drew near and inclined his head in deference.

"Lord Billion," he declared, voice firm amid the thick tension, "these are the rifts assigned to you."

A hologram materialized ahead, revealing the site.

"They are the Grade 4 rifts within the Elemental territories."

I nodded sharply once.

"That will do."

Needing no further details, I advanced onto the teleportation circle. Instantly upon contact, the runes below blazed alive, intensifying as power amassed.

Reality warped, and in the blink of an eye, I vanished.

As the radiance dissipated, I stood upon a new planet.

The atmosphere here carried a distinct essence, saturated with primal energy. Before me sprawled a colossal city hewn straight into soaring mountains. Edifices sculpted from stone layered cliffs and summits, linked by sinuous paths and arching bridges.

The Elemental headquarters.

Three silhouettes awaited patiently. They strode forth and bowed deeply the instant I materialized.

"Lord Billion," one intoned with respect, "thank you for coming."

These were the elemental generals, each embodying a unique element.

Lightning, fire, and water.

I offered a curt nod.

"Let's not waste time," I stated.

They escorted me promptly to the command center, a room brimming with holograms akin to ours yet more compact. Charts of rifts, positions, and army deployments saturated the space.

"There are four Grade 4 rifts in this sector of our domain," the fire general commenced. "We will each claim one."

He halted momentarily.

"You will handle one too. After finishing, kindly join us to tackle the other three."

I saw no reason to contest.

"That works."

We proceeded without delay. A fresh teleportation circle hummed to life.

In the following instant, I reached the rift. Surroundings transformed abruptly. The sky vanished, supplanted by endless void. Dead center hovered the rift—immense, volatile, slashing space with its ragged tear. Orbiting it, three enormous black frameworks lingered like struts, forcing it agape. The rift's kaleidoscopic sheen blazed into my gaze.

Deeper in, atop a suspended landmass near the rift, rose the ebony tower. It repelled the System from intrusion and housed the Eternal commander.

I nearly laughed at the Grade 4 rift's puny semblance now.

Wasting no time, I surged forward. Ascending into the abyss, my awareness enveloped the Eternals' complete fortifications.

Fist tightening as Essence roiled, I drew upon my laws and invoked my skill.

"Hand Of Convergence."

The strike coalesced over my palm.

A colossal hand of vortexing energy—prismatic, savage, turbulent—yet impeccably contained. It ballooned at once, swelling to eclipse the rift's attendant constructs.

Its radiance subdued the void. Silver brilliance throbbed at the hand's heart.

Then I hurled it forth.

The palm rocketed ahead, rending space in its path. It pulverized the primary brace outright, then the second, then the third, without the slightest hesitation.

Next, it collided with the rift.

The clash proved apocalyptic.

Defenses caved inward as the detonation raged, engulfing all it touched. The black tower exploded into shards, encircling troops utterly vanquished, the rift itself erupting in frenzy.

Nearly ninety percent of the Eternals' forces evaporated in a heartbeat. A momentary stillness reigned.

The System countered next. Runes flickered along the rift's borders, commencing its seal. I lingered suspended, hands folded behind, braced for Eternal reprisal—none materialized.

Gradually, the rift clamped closed, delivering a System notice of merit points earned.

I bypassed tidying the stragglers, entrusting it to the Elementals. I returned to the teleportation circle and shifted onward.

Rift to rift in succession. Each venture concluded identically.

Devastation and sealing.

Just an hour had passed by the time I returned. Once more, I stood upon the Elemental planet, with the three generals already there waiting, their faces full of shock and admiration.

"Lord Billion… this…" the lightning general started, but he couldn't complete his words.

I brushed it aside with a casual wave.

"It's done as we planned. No need for any words. This is all for the future of our galaxy."

They bowed once again, this time even deeper.

"Please," the water general requested, "let us host you. At least take some rest."

I pondered for a brief moment.

"One hour," I declared. "That's sufficient."

Relief washed over their expressions. They escorted me to a guest chamber.

I entered the room. The instant the door sealed shut, a smile crossed my lips. My perception surged outward in a flash, enveloping the whole planet, probing, analyzing, sifting through everything until it pinpointed the target.

The concealed pocket space containing the world core.

I acted swiftly. Runes materialized under my feet as I etched a teleportation circle, meticulously hiding every energy ripple to prevent any outward leak. Then, I drew out the violet token and shattered it.

A tiny portal appeared, no bigger than the span of my palm.

From it, a bird emerged in flight.

Vivi.

She alighted on my shoulder without delay.

"Do it fast," she urged. "I am very far from Abor." Her voice sounded frail.

"I know."

Without further words, I strode ahead and vanished. I rematerialized within the pocket space.

The world core hovered at the center. Triangular in form, it resembled a levitating pyramid, radiating intense green Essence.

Vivi lunged forward without pause.

Her body swelled a little, her head enlarging as she gaped her beak and engulfed it.

In one swift gulp.

"Vivi," I warned hastily, "no fluctuations."

She nodded vigorously. The energy that ought to have scattered across the planet stayed fully contained, locked tight inside the pocket space.

The devouring process started.

I sensed it right away.

My Dawn Core stirred at once, swelling and expanding, drawing in the energy as it got devoured. Simultaneously, my comprehension of the elemental laws deepened. Inside the Dawn Core, the volcano embodying the core law of elemental convergence grew even taller.

I drifted there with eyes shut, assimilating my newfound insights.
