Aurora, along with her summons Ash and Silver, and three Prime Universe Demi-Gods, have arrived at the Eternal vassal universe of Oserem to hunt down specific targets. Despite initial hesitation from the Essari Sovereign about the mission's timing and unknown dangers, Aurora's demonstrated combat prowess quickly assuaged any doubts. She outlines a plan to first seal Oserem from the outside, with Ash tasked to create an isolation formation, and then Silver and the Dragon Sovereign will breach the barrier to allow entry.

The passage through the universe’s protective barrier opened with a low tremor that spread through the surrounding void, but before the disturbance could travel any farther, Ash’s sealing authority descended over the six figures.

Darkness folded around them, swallowing their auras and suppressing even the smallest fluctuations of power. From outside, there was nothing to indicate that six powerful Demi-Gods had just entered the universe.

Silver and the Dragon Sovereign moved ahead, working together to widen the passage through the barrier while Aurora followed with Ash, the Feran Sovereign, and the Essari Sovereign close behind. The moment they crossed through, the passage sealed itself behind them, leaving no trace of their arrival.

Ash glanced back at the place where the opening had disappeared.

"Nothing escaped," he said quietly. "No message, no spatial fluctuation, nothing that should alert anyone."

Aurora nodded. "Good. Then we have time."

She closed her eyes.

Her perception spread outward.

It moved through the vastness of Oserem, crossing stars, planets, nebulae, and countless inhabited regions without disturbing anything along the way. She wasn’t interested in the ordinary inhabitants of the universe. Her perception ignored them completely, searching only for the unmistakable presence of Demi-God-level beings.

A few moments later, her eyes opened.

"I found them."

The others immediately became attentive.

"How many?" asked the Dragon Sovereign.

"Three nearby," Aurora replied. "All Low Demi-Gods. There are several more weaker presences around them, probably their subordinates."

The Essari Sovereign frowned. "Only three?"

"That is what I can sense from this distance."

She turned toward the others.

"They are gathered together, which saves us the trouble of hunting them individually."

The Dragon Sovereign gave a deep laugh.

"Then let’s stop wasting time."

Aurora smiled.

"Agreed."

The six figures vanished.

Their journey across the universe was so fast that the surrounding stars barely had time to flicker before they had already crossed the distance. Moments later, the group emerged before an enormous nebula.

Purple and blue clouds stretched across millions of kilometres, slowly swirling around one another like an ocean suspended in the darkness. Countless stars burned within the nebula, their light scattered across the gaseous clouds and painting the surrounding void with a faint ethereal glow.

But something else was there.

Three figures floated within the nebula. The moment Aurora and the others appeared, all three turned toward them.

They looked nothing like ordinary humans.

Their bodies were translucent and grey, almost as if they were souls that had never been given physical forms. Their outlines continuously shifted, sometimes becoming almost invisible before returning to their previous shapes. There was no flesh, no blood, and no obvious physical structure, yet the pressure radiating from their bodies was unmistakably that of Demi-Gods.

The three entities stared at the newcomers in silence. One of them finally moved forward.

His expression was cautious as he studied the six figures standing before him. The sight alone was unsettling. Six Demi-Gods from entirely different races had appeared inside Oserem without triggering any of the universe’s defenses, and judging from their expressions, none of them seemed particularly concerned about where they had entered.

"Who are you?"

Aurora stepped forward, her red eyes settling on the three ethereal figures. Her expression was calm, but the authority in her gaze left no room for uncertainty.

"We are from the Prime Universe and I have been sent here to deal with the forces supporting the Eternals."

The three entities exchanged a glance.

Aurora continued before they could respond.

"You have chosen to cooperate with the Eternals. I am giving you an opportunity to withdraw from that alliance. End your cooperation with the Eternals, and Oserem will not be treated as an enemy by the Prime Universe."

One of the entities stared at her for several moments before slowly shaking his head.

"You crossed into our universe just to make that offer?"

"Yes."

"And if we refuse?"

Aurora’s expression hardened.

"Then we will consider you part of the Eternal forces occupying the vassal universes, and we will deal with you accordingly."

The entity gave a quiet laugh, though there was little humor in it.

"You speak with considerable confidence for someone who has only just entered Oserem."

Aurora didn’t react.

"We have no reason to fear you."

That finally drew a response from the three entities. The first one looked toward his companions before turning back to Aurora.

"You are asking us to abandon the Eternals at the exact moment when doing so would be suicide."

His ethereal body flickered faintly as he spoke.

"Theras has already begun preparing for the final stage of his plan. When he moves, Oserem will not be spared simply because we once cooperated with him. If we don’t align we die."

Another entity continued, his voice quieter.

"You are offering us protection from the Prime Universe, but what protection can you actually provide against Theras? "

Aurora’s eyes narrowed.

"You believe joining the Eternals gives you a better chance of surviving?"

"Yes," the entity replied.

The answer caused Aurora to fall silent for a moment.

The entity looked directly at her. Aurora’s gaze remained fixed on him.

"There is always another choice."

"Perhaps for you."

The entity’s voice hardened.

"But not for us."

Aurora slowly shook her head.

"You are mistaken."

The three entities watched her carefully.

"I did not come here to promise that the Prime Universe can guarantee your survival. I came here because you still have the opportunity to fight for it."

She stepped forward, her voice becoming colder.

"If you continue supporting Theras, you will eventually be consumed along with everything else. If you stand with us, at least you will be fighting against the one who intends to devour you."

The first entity’s expression darkened.

"And if we still refuse?"

Aurora looked at him for several seconds.

"Then I will respect your decision."

Her eyes narrowed.

"And kill you for it."

The words fell into the nebula with absolute finality.

The three entities froze.

Aurora had not raised her voice, nor had she released even a fraction of her power. She simply stood there, completely certain of what would happen next.

The first entity’s expression hardened.

"Then we have nothing more to discuss."

Aurora nodded once.

"I agree."

Her aura exploded.

A terrifying pressure descended over the nebula.

The clouds of gas around them twisted violently as Aurora’s High Demi-God aura spread through the region. The three entities froze in place, their ethereal bodies trembling as the difference in their strength became immediately apparent.

One of them stared at Aurora in disbelief.

"High... High Demi-God?"

The second entity’s face turned pale.

"How is that possible? The Prime Universe shouldn’t have another one."

Aurora took another step forward.

"Apparently, it does."

The three entities exchanged a desperate glance.

"Run!"

They turned simultaneously. Space shattered beneath their power as they attempted to escape in three different directions.

Aurora didn’t move.

"Silver."

Silver stepped forward. His eyes flashed.

"Heavens Authority."

A surge of silver light erupted from his body and spread across the void.

A massive dome formed around the entire battlefield, enclosing the three fleeing Demi-Gods before they could escape. Within the dome, the darkness of space transformed into an endless blue sky, while silver lightning rained from above in deafening waves.

The three entities slammed into the barrier.

BOOM!

Space fractured around them. The dome didn’t even tremble.

One of the entities stared upward in horror.

"Impossible."

Silver smiled faintly.

"You’re not going anywhere."

Aurora walked into the dome.

"Now."

The Dragon Sovereign stepped forward beside Silver. Both of them released their power at the same time.

Silver’s humanoid form dissolved into blinding silver light before expanding into an enormous hawk. Its wings stretched across the sky, every metallic feather carrying terrifying spatial force.

Beside him, the Dragon Sovereign’s body expanded violently. Scales spread across his frame, his arms became massive claws, and two enormous wings unfolded behind him as his transformation into a colossal dragon shook the surrounding nebula.

The three Demi-Gods stared at the two monstrous figures descending upon them. The battle itself lasted far less time than they had expected. Two of them were killed and one of them captured alive.

The hunt had begun.

And this time, the hunters were not the Eternals.
