After failing to trap the protagonist, Sovereign Abyssal Darkness and the Eternal found themselves at his mercy. The protagonist unleashed a devastating explosion of fire, shattering the Eternal's time and space restriction and severely wounding him. Using an elemental shift to evade the Eternal's final desperate attack, the protagonist appeared behind him and used a powerful flame technique to completely erase him from existence.

For a few moments, nothing moved.

The place where the Eternal had vanished remained completely empty, the last traces of white-gold flames slowly fading into the surrounding void. I watched the space carefully, making sure that nothing remained, but just as I was about to turn my attention toward Sovereign Abyssal Darkness, something suddenly changed.

A strange fluctuation emerged from the exact point where the Eternal had disappeared.

I narrowed my eyes.

The void began to twist, and from within that distortion, something slowly took shape. It was not a body, nor was it a soul projection. A peculiar character made entirely from ice appeared in the void, its shape covered in intricate patterns that seemed to naturally contain the essence of Ice itself. The moment it appeared, an extremely faint fluctuation reached my perception.

A soul.

My eyes widened instantly.

That fluctuation was extremely weak, but I recognized it immediately. It carried the same aura as the Eternal I had just killed.

"He survived?"

The thought had barely crossed my mind when the ice character suddenly trembled.

A crack appeared across the surrounding void.

Then another.

The next instant, the ice character tore the void apart and rushed into the newly created spatial passage at terrifying speed.

I reacted without hesitation.

My body moved at almost the same moment, following directly behind it. Space distorted violently as I accelerated, and a terrifying fluctuation erupted behind me as Sovereign Abyssal Darkness also began pursuing us. I ignored him completely. My entire perception had already locked onto the fleeing Eternal, and nothing else mattered.

The ice character was incredibly fast.

Even after becoming nothing more than a fragment of soul hidden within the Origin of Ice, the speed at which it fled was extraordinary. I increased my own speed, pushing my body through the void until the distance between us began to shrink.

Finally, I reached striking range.

I clenched my fist.

Fire Origin surged through my arm.

Blazing flames erupted around my fist as I drew my arm back, and in the next instant, I punched forward.

A blazing meteor tore through the void.

The surrounding Space distorted from the sheer force of the attack as the fire-covered fist crossed the remaining distance and slammed directly into the ice character.

BOOOOOOM!

A tremendous explosion erupted.

The impact sent violent waves of energy through the surrounding void, cracking the spatial passage and forcing countless fragments of ice to scatter in every direction.

I expected the character to be completely incinerated. Instead, when the flames finally receded, the ice character was still there.

Its surface had dimmed slightly.

That was all.

"What?"

I stared at it in disbelief.

How could this thing be stronger than the Eternal himself?

The Eternal had already been severely wounded before I finished him, yet my full-powered punch had barely damaged this strange ice construct.

Then I noticed something leaking from the cracks covering its surface. Tiny fragments of pale blue light were escaping from within the damaged ice.

My expression changed.

That was not ordinary Ice Law.

It was Authority.

The moment I sensed it clearly, another realization struck me.

My eyes widened. This wasn’t an ice construct created by the Eternal.

This was the Origin of Ice itself.

The Eternal’s soul had escaped into the Origin he had comprehended, using it as a vessel to flee after his body had been destroyed. His existence was hiding inside the Origin, and the ice character before me was merely the manifestation of that Origin.

A smile slowly spread across my face.

If that was the case, then I had just been given something far more valuable than the Eternal’s life.

I stepped forward without hesitation.

Space trembled beneath my feet.

My body crossed the distance between us in a single step, and I appeared directly in front of the ice character. Before it could react, I raised my palm and brought it down.

The surrounding Space immediately compressed.

The ice character was locked in place.

"Thank you for the generous gift," I muttered.

Deep within my Divine Core, the black hole suddenly trembled.

The Abyssal Extraction Authority awakened.

The stabilized black-hole construct began rotating, and an immense devouring force surged out from within it. The moment that force appeared, the surrounding void seemed to bend toward it as if an invisible abyss had suddenly opened.

The ice character began shaking violently. Fragments of Ice Origin were ripped from its surface and dragged toward the black hole.

The process was completely different from ordinary destruction.

I was not burning the Origin.

I was devouring it.

The Abyssal Extraction Authority swallowed the fragments one after another, breaking them down and refining them before pulling the resulting essence deeper into my Divine Core.

The ice character rapidly began to dim. Inside it, the Eternal finally realized what I was doing.

His furious roar echoed through the void.

"STOP!"

I ignored him.

More and more Ice Origin fragments were torn from the character and devoured by the black hole. Every fragment that disappeared caused the manifestation before me to become weaker, its once-brilliant icy radiance rapidly fading.

Then I sensed something else. Sovereign Abyssal Darkness was getting closer.

His presence was approaching rapidly from behind.

I frowned.

I could not let him see this.

He could not know that I possessed an ability capable of directly devouring Origin fragments. If he understood what the black hole inside my Divine Core could do, he would immediately realize how dangerous I could become if I continued obtaining Origins in this manner.

My gaze hardened.

I raised one hand and directly utilised my Right to Isolate. The Authority of Space stirred within me.

"Isolate."

The moment the word left my mouth, Space rippled.

The surrounding void folded inward, and the entire area around me and the ice character was separated from the battlefield.

It was not simple concealment.

I had completely isolated our existence from the original space.

The ice character and I were now hidden inside a separate layer of Space and Time, detached from the location we had occupied moments ago. From the outside, there was nothing to see. No ice character. No Origin fragments. No trace of me.

Sovereign Abyssal Darkness arrived moments later.

He stopped in the void and looked around.

His perception spread outward.

But there was nothing.

I remained completely still within the isolated space, watching him through the barrier while the Abyssal Extraction Authority continued devouring the fragments of Ice Origin.

Unless his strength was greater than mine, or his comprehension of the Origin of Time exceeded mine enough to perceive the isolated flow of Space and Time, Sovereign Abyssal Darkness would not be able to find us.

And judging from the confusion spreading through the darkness around him, he had no idea where we had gone.
