My Talent's Name Is Generator Chapter 1242: Facing A Demi God
Previously on My Talent's Name Is Generator...
I pushed my speed to the limit as I crossed the western regions of Prime Galaxy, leaving the distant stars behind me as Space distorted around my body.
I expanded my perception as far as I could.
My senses spread through the void, passing across star systems and enormous stretches of empty space until they covered almost half of Prime Galaxy. It took only a moment for me to find him. His presence stood out like a blazing star against the vast darkness of the cosmos, and the moment my perception locked onto him, I felt his attention turn toward me.
He had noticed.
I expected him to continue toward a more populous area, perhaps intending to cause as much destruction as possible before the Prime Universe’s Demi-Gods could stop the remaining attackers. Instead, his trajectory suddenly changed.
He was coming toward me.
I was slightly surprised by that decision, but a smile soon appeared on my face.
"That saves me some time."
I accelerated.
The distance between us rapidly disappeared as both of us moved through the void at incredible speed. Neither of us made any attempt to conceal our presence anymore. Our auras collided across the cosmos long before our bodies came into view, creating subtle distortions throughout the surrounding Space.
Eventually, we reached a desolate region far away from any inhabited star system. There were no planets here, no civilizations, and barely any stars. Only scattered cosmic debris floated through the darkness.
I stopped.
A figure was already waiting several thousand miles away.
His appearance was almost entirely eternal, but a faint golden radiance surrounded his body, revealing the tremendous Soul Force contained within his existence. Frost continuously formed around him, covering the surrounding void with tiny crystalline fragments that glimmered like countless stars.
He smiled when he saw me.
"I am the Sovereign Frozen World."
His voice was calm, but there was a faint coldness beneath it.
"This is the first time I have met such a young Demi-God. We were aware of your existence, Billion Ironheart, but none of us expected you to reach this stage so quickly."
I smiled back.
"You sound disappointed."
His expression remained calm.
"Your growth has already exceeded our expectations. We cannot allow you to continue growing."
I looked at him for a moment before casually asking, "Is Theras afraid of me?"
The smile disappeared from his face. A cold glint appeared in his eyes.
"You do not have the authority to call him by his name."
I couldn’t help but laugh.
"He’s my enemy. I can call him whatever I want."
I spread my hands slightly.
"I could even call him a dumb buffalo if I wanted to. What are you going to do about it?"
The Sovereign Frozen World slowly shook his head.
"I can do nothing about what you call him."
His golden aura began growing stronger.
"Other than making sure you are dead."
The moment his words ended, the temperature of the surrounding cosmos plummeted.
A layer of frost spread through the void. Then the entire region erupted.
Countless enormous ice crystals suddenly formed around me, each one hundreds of miles long. They were not ordinary pieces of ice. Every crystal contained the power of his Ice Authority, and the Laws within them were so dense that the surrounding Space itself began freezing.
I moved.
The first wave of crystals shattered against a barrier of Space I instinctively formed around myself, but the impact still sent enormous shockwaves through the void. The shattered ice transformed into countless razor-sharp fragments that immediately changed direction and surrounded me from every side.
I swept my hand outward.
Fire erupted.
A massive sea of flames spread through the void, consuming the ice fragments before they could reach me. The collision between Fire and Ice created an enormous explosion that illuminated the surrounding cosmos.
The Sovereign Frozen World disappeared into the explosion.
I remained cautious.
A moment later, the entire sea of fire froze. The flames themselves became trapped within a gigantic glacier.
My eyes narrowed.
So that was his Authority. He could use his Authority to impose the nature of freezing upon powerful energy itself.
The frozen glacier shattered from within, and an enormous spear of ice shot toward me. It crossed the void almost instantly, carrying enough power to destroy a star system.
I raised my hand.
A wall of crimson flames appeared before me.
The ice spear pierced through the first layer, then the second, and finally broke apart against the third. The explosion sent waves of fire and frozen energy across the battlefield.
He was already moving. He appeared above me, his hand covered in crystalline armor as he brought his palm down.
The void beneath his hand froze.
An enormous region of space turned into a frozen domain, with countless mountains of ice erupting from nothingness. I moved through the gaps between them while releasing another wave of Fire, causing the frozen mountains to melt and explode one after another.
Neither of us was using our full strength yet.
We were testing each other.
I could already tell that he was a Low Demi-God, just like me. His foundation was powerful, but there was a clear limit to the strength he could currently display. That made this fight much more interesting.
I could have used Space or Time. But there was no reason to reveal everything I possessed.
Instead, I decided to fight him with Fire.
His expression became slightly more serious seeing his attack fail.
Then his body suddenly began glowing.
A brilliant golden radiance spread across his entire body, far brighter than the aura he had displayed before. The golden light wasn’t coming from an external technique. It was his pure Soul Force.
The moment it appeared, his presence changed completely. The surrounding void trembled.
The pressure of his existence increased sharply, and the frozen region around us expanded several times farther than before.
I understood immediately.
So this was what happened when a Demi-God stopped relying primarily on the energy surrounding them and began drawing directly upon their transformed Soul Force.
The difference was enormous.
His next attack would be considerably stronger.
The Sovereign Frozen World raised both hands.
The entire desolate region seemed to turn white.
"Frozen World."
His voice echoed through the cosmos.
A gigantic sphere of ice began forming around me. It was not merely an attack launched toward me; it was an entire frozen world being constructed around my existence. Space, energy, Laws, and even the scattered cosmic debris were rapidly covered in frost.
The pressure increased.
The frozen world contracted.
I could sense the destructive power contained within it. If an ordinary Saint had been caught inside, they would have been frozen before they could even understand what had happened.
I smiled.
"Then I suppose I should stop holding back too."
