My Talent's Name Is Generator Chapter 1204: Declaration
Previously on My Talent's Name Is Generator...
[In the Prime Galaxy]
The meeting hall of the Council had been unusually quiet.
It was a vast circular chamber suspended within a pocket of stabilized space, its walls covered in countless layers of defensive formations. At the center of the hall floated a massive projection of the Prime Universe, countless regions represented by flickering points of light while lines of information continuously moved between them. Around it, several illusory figures had gathered, each one representing a powerful existence from a different region of the universe.
None of them had been told why they had been summoned.
That alone was enough to make the atmosphere tense.
"I assume the rest of you received the same summons?" one of the figures finally asked.
"Yes," another replied. "The System itself called us here. There was no explanation beyond the requirement that we attend."
A third figure glanced toward the enormous projection in the center of the chamber. "Then something significant must have happened. The System doesn’t normally interfere with strategic meetings."
Another projection leaned forward slightly. "There is also the matter of the Eternal forces."
Several figures immediately became attentive.
"They have begun retreating from several frontlines," the figure continued. "Not a tactical withdrawal from one battlefield. Multiple fronts are being abandoned simultaneously."
"Perhaps they are consolidating their forces."
"Or preparing a larger offensive."
"That would explain the sudden withdrawal. They may be planning to strike one of the major territories directly."
"Then why withdraw from so many locations?"
No one immediately had an answer.
The possibilities continued to accumulate, each one more worrying than the last. Perhaps the Eternals had discovered a weakness in the Prime Universe’s defenses. Perhaps they were preparing to summon another wave of forces. Perhaps the retreat itself was simply bait designed to lure the defenders into overextending themselves.
The uncertainty was almost worse than the retreat itself. Then the space in the center of the hall suddenly rippled.
Every projection turned toward it.
The distortion expanded outward before two figures stepped through the spatial fluctuation as though they had merely walked through an ordinary doorway.
Amun arrived first, his expression as relaxed as ever, with Defender Aurora following beside him.
The entire hall fell silent.
Amun glanced around at the gathered figures and smiled.
"Well, everyone looks rather serious."
Nobody laughed.
One of the figures immediately asked, "Amun, what happened? Why has the System summoned us?"
Amun looked toward Aurora for a moment before turning back to them.
"I suppose we should start with the good news."
He raised one hand casually.
"The curse placed upon the Prime Universe by the Eternals has been lifted."
There was absolute silence. For several seconds, nobody seemed to understand what he had just said.
Amun’s smile widened.
"There will be no more Phantoms."
The atmosphere inside the hall changed instantly.
Several illusory figures visibly trembled. Others stared at Amun as though they were trying to determine whether he was joking.
"And the Abominations?" someone finally asked.
"The source has been cut off," Amun replied casually. "No more will be created through that system. The ones already here are another matter, of course."
A stunned figure slowly rose from its seat.
"You’re saying the souls of our people..."
"Are no longer bound to the Eternals."
The words struck the hall like thunder.
For generations, the Prime Universe had fought beneath the shadow of the Eternals. Countless civilizations had watched their dead become fuel for the enemy. Every battlefield had carried the possibility of another Phantom being born from the souls of those who had fallen.
And now that chain had been broken. Amun allowed them several moments to absorb the revelation.
One of the figures finally asked, "How?"
Amun shrugged.
"Aurora and I had a rather unpleasant encounter with the Eternals. We fought our way through it, broke their hold over the Prime Universe, and removed the curse."
Aurora remained silent beside him. Neither of them mentioned the Null Realm. Neither mentioned the Twelve Soul Current.
And certainly neither mentioned Billion.
There was no reason for the gathered figures to know those details yet. The chamber erupted into discussion.
"Then it’s true."
"After all these years..."
"The Phantom production has stopped."
"Our dead are finally free."
Several figures began congratulating Amun and Aurora, while others immediately started discussing the implications for their respective territories.
Amun simply stood there with his hands behind his back, watching them celebrate with an amused expression.
"Go ahead," he said lightly. "You’ve earned a few moments of celebration."
But after allowing the excitement to continue for a while, his expression gradually became more serious.
"Unfortunately, we don’t have much time."
The hall slowly quieted. Amun turned toward the projection of the Prime Universe.
"The Eternals have realized something has changed. That’s why their forces are retreating."
His finger pointed toward several regions where the Eternal forces were withdrawing.
"They are trying to preserve as much of their remaining strength as possible."
Amun’s smile disappeared.
"So don’t let them."
The illusory figures listened carefully.
"The curse is gone. Their supply of new Phantoms and Abominations has been severed. That means the advantage we’ve been fighting against for so long has finally disappeared."
His gaze swept across the gathered leaders.
"This is our opportunity to turn the battlefield around."
Aurora finally spoke.
"We should launch a coordinated counteroffensive before the Eternals can reorganize their forces. Every remaining Abomination and Phantom that we can eliminate now is one less weapon they can use later."
Several figures immediately nodded.
"Agreed."
"We’ll mobilize our forces."
"We’ll pursue their retreating armies."
Another figure’s voice carried a hint of excitement for the first time in years.
"After everything they’ve done to us, I think it’s time they finally learned what it feels like to be hunted."
Amun chuckled softly, seemingly pleased by the change in everyone’s mood.
"Now that’s the spirit. But before we disperse, I have one more task for all of you. We should gather once again in the Prime Galaxy six months from now."
Aurora immediately glanced at him in confusion. He had never mentioned anything about another gathering to her.
"What’s the gathering about?" she asked.
Amun’s grin slowly widened.
"A new Demi-God is going to join us."
The moment those words left his mouth, the entire hall fell into an even deeper silence than before.
"A... new Demi-God?"
Several of the illusory figures exchanged stunned glances.
"Who?"
"Where did they come from?"
"How have we never heard of them?"
The questions came one after another. A newly ascended Demi-God was not something that could simply appear without notice. At their level, every breakthrough shook the surrounding laws and created disturbances that could be sensed across enormous distances. Yet none of them had detected such an existence.
Aurora herself stared at Amun, clearly caught off guard by his announcement.
Amun, however, only smiled.
"I think it’s only appropriate that we meet them properly when they arrive. Once our new companion joins us, our offensive against the Eternals will begin in earnest."
The expressions of the gathered figures changed immediately. A new Demi-God meant an entirely new variable in the war.
While everyone else was trying to understand who this mysterious existence could possibly be, Amun stood there grinning from ear to ear.
He already knew.
Billion Ironhart.
He had seen enough to understand that Billion was standing directly at the boundary of the Demi-God realm. Given his terrifying rate of growth, Amun was confident that six months would be more than enough for him to take that final step.
But there was another reason Amun had announced it so openly.
He knew there were traitors among them.
And if the Eternals had spies within the Prime Universe, then announcing the imminent arrival of a new Demi-God would force them to act. They would search every corner of the universe, desperately trying to identify this unknown existence before he could complete his breakthrough.
Amun’s smile remained relaxed.
Let them search and panic. Let them reveal themselves while searching for the person who did not even know that an entire universe was already waiting for his arrival.
Finally, the balance was beginning to shift.
And none of them yet knew that somewhere beyond the galaxy, another figure was already streaking at a speed that would soon make even the greatest battles of the Prime Universe seem insignificant.
