My Talent's Name Is Generator Chapter 1193: Full Contract
Previously on My Talent's Name Is Generator...
With all seven portions of the contract gathered, there was only one thing left to do.
Change it.
The contract had originally been established between the Eternals and the Null Realm, granting the Eternals authority over the territories of the Prime Universe that existed within the Null Realm. Their authority extended far beyond territorial control. Every soul belonging to the original natives of the Prime Universe was included within the agreement, and the Eternals had been granted the right to use those souls however they wished.
It was difficult to look at the clauses without feeling disgust.
It was time to destroy this contract but I did not want the destruction of the contract to occur anywhere near the settlement. Whatever happened next could involve forces far beyond anything I wanted to expose the people there to.
I said nothing as I prepared Echo Reversion. The three runes of Time, Space and Soul appeared before me and began rotating around one another before merging into a single mark. My perception locked onto a location I had visited before, far beyond the boundaries of the Prime Territory.
The next instant, space folded around me.
When my vision returned, I was standing alone above the vast Soul Sea outside the Prime Territory. Endless darkness stretched in every direction, with the enormous sea beneath me extending beyond the limits of my perception. There were no settlements nearby and no living beings within range of my senses.
This was the place I wanted.
I remained suspended above the Soul Sea for a moment, making certain that nothing was nearby before finally taking out the six scrolls I had collected. The final portion of the contract retrieved from the Ironheart settlement was already in my possession as well.
I held all seven pieces together.
The moment they came into contact, they began resonating with one another. The separate fragments dissolved into streams of golden light before merging into a single enormous contract that floated before me.
Ancient characters appeared across its surface.
I slowly examined the clauses, making sure I understood exactly what authority had been granted to the Eternals and what conditions had been imposed upon the Null Realm. At the bottom of the contract were two signatures, each carrying an aura so powerful that merely looking at them caused the surrounding space to tremble.
The first name immediately caught my attention.
Klaus.
The signature belonged to a Warden of the Null Realm, a Demigod who had apparently acted as one of the authorities responsible for establishing the agreement.
Then my gaze moved to the second signature.
Theras Prime.
My expression immediately darkened.
I had seen that name before, and I knew enough about Theras Prime to understand that his involvement was not something I could simply overlook.
The contract itself did not explain what Theras had offered Klaus in exchange for establishing the agreement, nor did it reveal what had happened behind the scenes when the contract was created. Whatever the arrangement between those two Demigods had been, it had not been recorded within the clauses that governed the Eternals’ authority.
I memorized everything I could before shifting my attention away from the contract.
There was still work to finish.
While I studied the agreement, my summons continued their sweep through the remaining regions. The Eternals were already gone, but their influence had left behind countless Phantoms, administrators and other forces that had served their interests.
My summons moved through the territories without restraint, eliminating anything that could threaten the inhabitants or interfere with the changes I intended to make.
At the same time, I began consuming the remaining fifteen percent of Viserys’s black ocean.
I directed portions of it toward the Generator Core inside my body, allowing it to refine the strange energy and convert it into Soul Force. The process was considerably more efficient now that my foundation had changed, and the Generator Core greedily consumed everything I fed into it. The resulting Soul Force poured into my Soul Space while the remaining black ocean gradually diminished inside the Dawn Core.
Time passed.
Half a day later, the final reports arrived through my connection with the summons.
All the regions had been cleared.
One after another, my summons returned and appeared beside me. They looked exhausted, but none were seriously injured. The task had been completed exactly as I had ordered.
I looked at them briefly before releasing them from their manifested forms. Their bodies dissolved into streams of light and returned to the null core.
I took a slow breath and turned my attention back to the contract floating before me.
This was the moment I had been waiting for.
I reached toward the enormous document and established my connection with it. The authority of the Null Realm flowed through me, responding to the fact that I was now the holder of the complete contract and had obtained the authority necessary to alter its terms.
My eyes moved across the clauses one final time.
Then I spoke.
"As the holder of the complete contract, and by the authority granted to me by the Null Realm, I hereby abolish this contract."
The words had barely left my mouth when the entire document trembled.
A ripple spread through the surrounding space.
The ancient characters began fading one after another as brilliant yellow flames erupted across the surface of the contract. The parchment-like material curled inward, burning from its edges toward the center as the authority contained within the agreement began collapsing.
Then everything stopped. A deafening silence descended upon the surrounding Soul Sea.
The flames froze in place and the contract stopped burning.
Even the movement of the Soul Sea came to a halt.
I felt it immediately.
Time itself had stopped.
A vast and ancient aura descended from above, spreading across the entire region with such overwhelming authority that my body instinctively tightened.
I slowly raised my head.
Something had intervened.
And judging from the pressure that had just descended upon the battlefield, it was not an ordinary Saint.
A Demigod had arrived.
