Damon and Xander engage in a brutal battle, their powers clashing and tearing apart the sky. Despite Damon's efforts and various skills, Xander's relentless assault and superior durability prove overwhelming. Damon, heavily injured and with his healing abilities weakened, resorts to hit-and-run tactics using the shadows of the battlefield to evade Xander's attacks.
