"I’ve watched this footage five times now, and I still can’t figure out what happened."

Officer Jenny leaned back in her chair, releasing a frustrated sigh. Something didn’t add up; Yuan and the two women with him had looked far too calm.

"The calm look on their faces isn’t normal at all," she said. "Something so mysterious happened, and yet they remained perfectly calm."

"From this fact alone, it suggests they know exactly what happened to the three students," she continued. "Otherwise, their reaction to such a mysterious event would have been completely different."

Even with the limited evidence suggesting that Yuan and the two women accompanying him were somehow responsible for the incident, she couldn’t simply detain Yuan.

"Hey, Officer Jenny, have you had a chance to look into the restaurant incident? The higher-ups are really keen on getting to the bottom of it and catching whoever’s behind it as soon as possible."

Suddenly, a voice came from behind her, surprising Jenny with his unexpected visit to her office.

’Chief Taylor, this case is a bit more complicated than it looks,’ Jenny thought with a gentle sigh.

"Please have a look at this security footage from the restaurant... After that, tell me what you see." Jenny pointed at her computer screen and played the footage.

Chief Taylor didn’t say anything and watched the security footage. He frowned as soon as he noticed Yuan sitting with two beautiful women.

’Don’t tell me he is the one responsible for this incident... Well, with beauties like them around, trouble would definitely come looking for you,’ he thought inwardly.

As the video reached the moment when the three students were severely injured, Chief Taylor’s face became visibly shocked as he watched the footage with his own eyes.

"T-This is..." Chief Taylor didn’t know what to say or how he should react to the shocking footage.

Seeing his reaction, Officer Jenny let out a soft chuckle and said, "Didn’t I tell you, Chief? This case is very unique...mysterious, in fact."

"Just what in the world happened at that moment? How could three students suddenly fall to the floor and become so seriously injured?" Chief Taylor muttered in a low voice, unable to comprehend what had just happened.

A few moments later, Jenny said, "This is why I’ve decided to visit his house and take his statement on the matter."

"Go ahead. After all, the victims’ parents have already filed a case against him," Chief Taylor replied with a soft sigh.

"Do you need someone to accompany you?"

"No need. I’ll go alone," Jenny replied before leaving the office.

Yuan, Little Zoe, and Sylvia arrived in front of the Porsche showroom, and Little Zoe’s eyes sparkled with excitement as she saw the cars inside the building through the glass.

There were over twenty luxury performance cars sitting inside, all brand new and available in various colors for customers to choose from.

"There are so many cars inside... So cool!" Little Zoe exclaimed in surprise.

"Let’s go inside. We’ll buy one and drive to Patricia’s company," Yuan said before entering the building.

As soon as they stepped inside, one of the salespeople immediately greeted them with a smile.

"Hello, I’m Livia from the sales team. How can I help you?" she asked with a smile, her tone professional.

’So handsome! He is so hot... It’s a pity that I’m already engaged to someone...’ she thought inwardly while maintaining a straight face.

"I’m Yuan, this is Zoe, and that’s Sylvia. I’m here to buy my first car," Yuan said, politely introducing everyone to Livia.

"I see... What kind of car do you have in mind?"

"Something that can go from zero to a hundred in less than three seconds," Yuan quickly replied, surprising Livia with his answer.

"And what is your budget?"

"A million."

Livia became even more surprised by his budget and couldn’t help but stare at him for a moment.

’Not only is he handsome...but he is also loaded with money,’ she thought.

"Please, follow me. We have just the right car for you," she said excitedly, and Yuan followed her closely.

Shortly afterward, they arrived beside a car that was parked away from the rest. It was completely covered.

"This car was ordered by someone but they canceled the booking. Please take a look and let me know your decision," she said before removing the cover and revealing the beauty underneath.

"This is..." Yuan’s eyes widened in surprise as he looked at the car before him.

It was a black Porsche 918 Spyder with a 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine. It also had a hybrid system with two electric motors, producing a combined output of 887 hp.

"This is exactly what I’m looking for...a V8 Porsche with a top speed of 345 km/h," Yuan muttered, a small smile forming on his lips.

’This car is a true beauty... Just look at the design,’ he thought as he walked around the car, admiring it from every angle.

He stopped and looked at Livia before asking, "Can I start the engine?"

"Sure. Let me get the keys for you," Livia replied with a smile before heading to the office to retrieve the keys.

While Livia went to get the keys, Yuan took a closer look at the car and suddenly realized something.

’These exposed carbon-fiber elements... This is the Weissach Package!!’ he exclaimed inwardly, realizing that this was the top-of-the-line version of the Porsche 918.

’This is a supercar that is incredibly difficult to get...and yet, this one is sitting right here like this... Just how lucky am I to have found such a rare car?!’

He couldn’t help but feel incredibly excited at the thought of owning such a rare machine.

"Big Brother Yuan, this car is awesome! Are we going to buy it?" Little Zoe asked as she circled the car with a cheerful smile on her face.

"That’s right. We’ll buy it immediately before someone else comes in and notices this car," Yuan said with a smile, nodding his head.

Shortly afterward, Livia returned with the keys and handed them to him.

"Here is the key, sir," she said with a smile.

"Thank you." Yuan took the keys and immediately opened the door before stepping inside the car.

He inserted the key into the ignition slot on the left side of the steering wheel and activated the system. However, he soon remembered that the car wouldn’t immediately start the engine in its default mode, and he needed to select Sport Hybrid mode to start the engine immediately.

He changed the driving mode, and the V8 engine immediately came to life with a deep growl. It was loud—much louder than he had anticipated.

In his past life, he had been quite interested in supercars, so he had watched countless videos about them. However, none of those videos could let him experience the real sound of a V8 engine.

"Simply amazing... This is simply heaven for all men!" Yuan muttered in a low voice, his hands gripping the steering wheel and one foot resting on the accelerator.

After turning off the engine, Yuan stepped out of the car and looked at Livia with a smile.

"I’m purchasing this car. Arrange the paperwork for me," Yuan said to her.

"Please come this way, sir." Livia immediately became excited upon hearing this. "So, are you going to finance it or pay the full amount?"

"Full amount via net banking," Yuan replied with a confident smile.

Shortly, Yuan made the transaction, and Livia completed all the necessary paperwork and registered the car under his name. The entire process took almost twenty minutes.

"Here is the key, sir. The car is yours now. Congratulations!" she said, cheering for him as she handed him the car keys.

"Thanks," Yuan said with a smile before getting into the driver’s seat.

Sylvia then sat in the passenger seat with Little Zoe on her lap.

Hmmm!!!

The hybrid electric motors immediately pushed the vehicle forward, producing a soft humming sound as Yuan drove the car out of the showroom.

’This car is simply amazing... Thankfully, I have a driver’s license from my past life. I got it while doing odd jobs in this world,’ Yuan thought inwardly.

Once the car entered the main road, Yuan accelerated. The V8 engine came roaring back to life as the car surged forward aggressively.

"Kya!!!" Little Zoe let out a surprised scream as the car quickly picked up speed.

A couple of moments later, they arrived at the VELoura Group’s building, and Yuan parked the car in the building’s parking area.

"Wow! Look at that car! It’s a Porsche!"

"So cool! Which model is it?"

"It’s the 918 Spyder!! This is insane!"

"What?! That’s so rare! And it’s brand new!"

People immediately noticed the car and began recording with their phones, taking pictures and videos of the supercar.

Amid the excitement, Yuan stepped out of the vehicle along with Sylvia and Little Zoe, and everyone’s attention immediately shifted toward them.

"Damn! Aren’t they those famous cosplayers who have been going viral online?!"

"What are they doing here?!"

"Look at that woman beside him... She is so damn gorgeous!"

People’s surprised murmurs quickly filled the parking area as Yuan, Little Zoe, and Sylvia appeared.

However, they ignored the people and walked into the building without paying any attention to them.

Approaching the reception counter, Yuan asked, "Can you tell me which floor Patricia’s office is on?"
