The Goddess of Water's powerful Water Dragon spell was instantly destroyed by Yuan. She was shocked to find the Goddess of Light and Justice alive, who revealed that all other gods and their allies were slaughtered. Enraged, the Goddess of Water attacked Yuan with thousands of water blades, but he effortlessly vaporized them with his Sword Aura. Yuan then quickly closed the distance, grabbed the Goddess of Water by the neck, and killed her instantly.

The Goddess of Light and Justice succumbed to the floor after witnessing the humiliating death of her dear friend, her already moist eyes becoming wet again as tears rolled down her cheeks.

’Why... just why did we have to make an enemy out of this monster? If we hadn’t been so desperate for power, the outcome could have been the opposite of this.’ She muttered, feeling completely broken as Yuan took the life of her friend.

’Sigh... it’s too late to regret now. Everything is destroyed, so what’s the point of regretting now? I just wish for a quick ending now...’ She thought, closing her eyes.

Yuan looked at the Goddess of Light and Justice with an indifferent expression before walking toward his wives.

"Shall we go and take a look at the strange mountain?" Lily immediately asked as soon as he got there, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"We can go there now since we’ve finished our business here," Yuan replied with a smile.

"Then what about her? Should we just kill her?" Xi Meili asked, pointing her finger at the Goddess of Light and Justice.

"I’ll leave her fate to Selvariel. If she wishes to let her go, then we let her go," Yuan replied.

Selvariel immediately became emotional after hearing Yuan’s words and hugged him tightly, resting her head on his chest for a couple of seconds.

"Thank you, hubby..." She said, feeling a little relieved, while at the same time, she felt a heavy burden lifted from her shoulders.

"It’s fine. She was your mentor, so I’ll leave her fate to you." Yuan said to her with a smile and then kissed her on the forehead.

Shortly, Yuan left with the others and went to the mountain covered in array formations, leaving Selvariel behind with the Goddess of Light and Justice.

As soon as Yuan and the others left, Selvariel walked toward her mentor with a look of pity in her eyes.

"Although my husband has a deep grudge against you, I don’t hate you at all. In fact, I’m very grateful to you for raising me and giving me the freedom that others don’t have." Selvariel spoke, her voice soft and filled with warmth.

And she continued, "After all, because of you, I managed to meet Yuan. Although we were enemies at first and I was a war prisoner at his mercy, now I’m his wife."

"Just kill me already. I have no desire to live now."

Suddenly, the Goddess of Light and Justice spoke, her voice laced with grief as she looked at her with a smile.

"I know what you’re going to do, Selvariel. I know that you want me to live." She paused for a moment and said, "However, what am I going to do? I’ve lost everything now. My friends, my people, everything."

"I just want a quick end... I can’t live with the regret of my choices. I know I was wrong for agreeing with the decision of the other gods, and I’m equally as guilty as they are."

Selvariel became furious after hearing this and said, "You’re always like this. You always trust people whom you shouldn’t trust. Look at the Holy Church you’ve created. They had no morals and were destroyed by my husband."

"The so-called gods you supported also ended up dead. Why? Because they were arrogant and greedy for power!" She looked at Elyssara in rage.

"Not only that, but you have also been living in an illusion, thinking that you’re gods. If you were a god, how did you lose to my husband and sisters so easily?"

After saying that, Selvariel became silent as she took a deep breath. Elyssara also became silent and didn’t speak a word.

Meanwhile, Yuan and the others had arrived at the location, and Long Yuyan immediately began working on the giant formation.

"Yuan, I’m about to open a passage for us to go inside, so prepare yourselves," She said a moment later.

A couple of minutes later, a passage appeared for them.

"Let’s go and check what this formation is protecting inside." Long Yuyan said as she stepped inside with an excited look on her face.

Yuan and the others nodded and followed her inside. They were all curious about what they were going to find.

It could be a powerful treasure or a powerful cultivation technique; it could be anything.

In the middle of the mountains, they found a small ancient building in perfect condition, even after tens of thousands of years.

Perhaps the building remained in perfect condition due to the powerful formation protecting this place, and the Spiritual Energy inside the formation was quite dense.

"T-That’s Saintess Song Ling’er’s mansion... But how is this possible??" Long Yuyan was in disbelief as she immediately recognized the mansion. She could never mistake it for something else.

Yuan raised his brows slightly. The name sounded very familiar for some reason, and yet unfamiliar at the same time.

’Strange... why does this name sound so familiar for some reason?’ He wondered inwardly.

"Who is this Song Ling’er? This name is quite similar to Xiaoyan and Meili." Sylvia asked with a curious smile.

Long Yuyan took a deep breath as she began to recall. "Song Ling’er was the princess of the Song Clan, a prestigious clan that governed Yunhai City. She was a musical prodigy who only appeared once every several million years."

"Her zither music could bring imagination into reality, creating heavenly phenomena. People would come to Yunhai City just to listen to her music. A single note was enough to make people forget to breathe."

"Because of her talent with the zither, people called her the Zither Goddess. And this mansion belongs to her." Long Yuyan finished her explanation, a dazed look on her face as she looked at the mansion.

Meanwhile, Yuan appeared dazed, staring at the mansion without blinking, making his wives puzzled by his strange behavior.

’Zither Goddess Song Ling’er... Why does this name feel so familiar? Why do I feel my heartbeat rising?’ Yuan was puzzled by this sensation. He felt strange.

’Song Ling’er... I wonder what kind of person you are...’ A strange smile appeared on his face.

"What’s wrong with you? Are you daydreaming?" Lily spoke as she slapped his back with a deep frown on her face.

"Nothing... It’s nothing." Yuan smiled awkwardly and quickly changed the subject. "Shall we head inside and take a look?"
