My attributes are increasing infinitely Chapter 383: Killing the hunter

Previously on My attributes are increasing infinitely...
Ethan sought two rare components to evolve the Space Cube, which the powerful Velzard family did not possess. During a banquet, Ethan realized that many inverse laws, including those he extracted from Seraphina and saw in Rafael, stemmed from a single source: the supreme Dao of Entropy. This realization caused his own Law of Entropy to expand rapidly, unleashing immense power and forcing him to flee. The entity possessing Rafael then confronted Ethan, revealing itself to be an Axiom Dominion Realm being and demanding to know the origin of Ethan's inverse law. Ethan, undaunted, prepared to fight.

Ethan stood amidst the gray dust, his fingers closing around the hilt of his sword.

As the Sword of Infinity fully manifested, the space around Ethan did not merely bend. It shattered. The blade hummed with a frequency that resonated with the very fabric of the reality itself.

In an instant, Ethan’s aura underwent a violent transformation. His presence, which had been at the peak of the primordial realm, surged upward like a rising tide. It bypassed the Genesis realm entirely, piercing directly into the Axiom Dominion Realm.

"Your marrow," Ethan said, his voice carrying a strange double tone, like a choir layered over thunder, "will be more than enough to upgrade my artifact. Now, be a good boy and lay down your life in front of your Sovereign."

The entity inhabiting Rafael’s body narrowed its eyes. The mockery in Ethan’s voice was sharp, but it was the word Sovereign that made the creature flinch.

"Borrowing power from a weapon does not make you a god, boy," the entity hissed.

"Then let’s see how a god handles this," Ethan replied.

"Body of the Supreme One. Activate."

A pillar of white, holy light erupted from Ethan’s body. When the light faded, Ethan had changed.

A crown of crystalline light rested upon his head. His skin shimmered with a radiant, pearlescent glow, and his eyes had transformed into twin pools of silver fire. He looked down at the inverse being not with hatred, but with the cold, detached gaze of a judge passing sentence.

The entity felt a chill it had not experienced in eons. The confident smile on Ethan’s face was not a bluff. It was the expression of a predator that had already tasted blood.

"Let’s dance, O inverse being," Ethan whispered. "Shall we?"

Ethan did not wait for a response.

He slammed the heel of his boot into the ground.

"Ultimate Domain."

A ripple of translucent energy expanded at the speed of thought. It did not stop at the horizon. It carved out a massive spherical space, isolating the two of them from the rest of the universe. Within this sphere, Ethan layered a second authority.

The Law of Entropy.

The sky inside the domain turned a bruised shade of purple. The stars vanished. The air grew heavy with the scent of decay and rebirth intertwined.

The entity attempted to retreat, only to crash into an invisible barrier. Its eyes widened.

"A separated dimension? You’ve locked us in?"

"No," Ethan corrected calmly. "I’ve locked you in. I am simply the host of your funeral."

The hunter’s face twisted as the mask of Rafael began to crack and peel away like old paint.

"Boy, I wanted to kill you quickly," the creature snarled. "I wanted to be merciful. But you are forcing me to show you why I am called Rozers the Executioner."

Rozers snapped his fingers.

Rafael’s body exploded outward. In its place stood a terrifying figure. Rozers possessed a hauntingly handsome face, cold and sharp as glacial ice. Four massive obsidian wings erupted from his back, casting long shadows across the surface. Six regal horns curved upward from his forehead like a crown of thorns.

The aura of a true Axiom Dominion surged outward. The land beneath them began to disintegrate into fine powder under the pressure of his mere presence.

"You will witness the wrath of an Executioner!" Rozers roared.

The battle began not with movement, but with the collapse of space itself.

Rozers moved like living shadow. In his grasp formed a scythe forged from Condensed Nothingness. He swung it, aiming directly for Ethan’s soul.

Ethan met the strike with the Sword of Infinity.

When the two weapons collided, the resulting shockwave peeled away the top layer of the land.

Clang!

"You are strong for an inverse world brat," Rozers snarled, his four wings beating violently and generating gusts of corrosive wind. "But your body is a cage. It cannot hold this power for long."

"My body is a temple," Ethan replied evenly.

He twisted the Sword of Infinity, releasing a burst of blazing Creation Energy.

"And you are the filth I am sweeping out."

Ethan unleashed his ultimate technique which he just created based on the Law of Entropy.

"Sovereign’s End. Total Decay."

He channeled five percent of the Law of Entropy into the blade. The sword turned pitch black, as though light itself feared touching it. With a single slash, waves of entropy tore through space. Anything they touched did not merely break. It lost the very concept of existence.

Rozers felt his obsidian wings begin to fray at the edges. Shock flashed across his face. Physical matter from the positive world was normally useless against him. His inverse nature made him intangible to conventional attacks too.

But Ethan’s Law of Entropy originated from the same source as his own power.

It was the one thing that could harm him.

"You have forced me to do this!" Rozers screamed, his eyes burning blood red.

He snapped his fingers again, this time pointing directly at his own heart.

"Thalor Mandate Bloodline. Activate!"

Rozers’ aura doubled, then tripled. He forcibly bypassed the limits of the Axiom Dominion Realm, brushing against the threshold of the realm above. His skin cracked under the strain, unable to contain the overwhelming power. Black blood leaked from his eyes.

"Hahaha!" Rozers laughed hysterically. "You are finished! Even if this body dies, I will drag you with me into the Void!"

"Null Expanse of Stillness!"

Rozers deployed his domain. A wave of absolute silence and frozen motion surged toward Ethan. It was an authority designed to halt the heart, shackle the soul, and stop time itself.

Ethan felt death’s grip tighten around him. His movements slowed. The crown of light upon his head flickered violently. For the first time in a long while, he felt the cold breath of the end brush against his neck.

But at this moment, within Ethan’s inner dimension, another battle unfolded.

The Creation Lotus, his primary source of entropy devourer, began to struggle under the pressure of the invading Stillness. Sensing danger, it started to shut itself down to protect its core.

Ethan’s energy plummeted at the worst possible moment.

Then, the World Tree moved.

The ancient, silent tree that had stood unmoving within Ethan’s inner dimension all this time like an eternal friend surged forward. Its massive, glowing roots did not attack the Lotus. They pierced into it.

The World Tree had already merged with Ethan’s Infinite Source. It was no longer just a tree. It was the backbone of his existence.

Its roots sank deep into the Lotus, forcing it to remain open.

It was a divine convergence.

The World Tree became the anchor.

The Lotus became the engine.

The inner dimension stabilized instantly. A new golden green energy flooded Ethan’s meridians. It carried the stubborn vitality of life from the Tree and the limitless adaptability of change from the Lotus.

Back on the battlefield Ethan’s eyes snapped open.

Rozers’ Stillness was inches from his chest.

"I am the Sovereign," Ethan whispered.

He did not swing the sword.

He stepped forward.

With the fusion of the world tree and the creation lotus in his inner world complete, Ethan’s comprehension of Entropy leapt again. He realized something fundamental.

Stillness was merely a lower expression of Entropy.

He reached out and seized the edge of Rozers’ Null Expanse with his bare hand.

Crrrk.

The domain shattered like brittle glass.

Rozers gasped, coughing up black blood. "Impossible. How can you touch my mandate?"

Ethan didn’t answer.

Ethan drove the Sword of Infinity into Rozers’ chest.

The Law of Entropy poured into the Executioner’s body. Rozers did not simply die. He unraveled. His wings dissolved into ash. His horns crumbled. His once handsome face melted back into nothingness.

"What..kind o..f law is this?", there was horror in his eyes.

Ethan threw the body inside his dimension to feed the lotus and gain the marrow as well as pure divine energy which would help him evolve furthur.

The Sword of Infinity vanished. Floating before him was the heavy, pulsating Primordial Astral Marrow. The essence of the being he had just destroyed.

He reached out and grabbed it.

"Nini," Ethan said, exhaustion and triumph mixing in his voice. "We have the ingredients. It’s time to upgrade the Space Cube."
