The city of Sharia mourns the death of Rudeus Greyrat, with his family devastated by the loss. Meanwhile, at Ranoa Magic Academy, a powerful young girl named Aurora displays incredible magical talent by defeating multiple mages. She boasts that she can revive Rudeus and recruits Arthur Greyrat to her cause. Later, the Dragon God Orsted and Nanahoshi arrive, and Aurora boldly confronts Orsted, even insulting his breath after he removes his helm, before returning to her lesson.

POV: Orsted

The Greyrat House currently had six children. In the order they came into the world, they were Lucy, Lara, Arthur, Sieghart, Lily, and Christina.

I made a point of remembering each of their names, both because of their rather unusual inherited trait — the absence of fear in the face of my curse — and because my alliance with Rudeus was based entirely on the safety of his family.

From our fight, through his surrender, to the point where we became allies against Hitogami, Rudeus Greyrat always acted with that principle at the center of his decisions.

He did everything to protect his family.

Even when he hesitated, made mistakes, or chose paths that, under purely rational analysis, seemed inefficient.

At the center of everything, almost always, was his family. And that was something worthy of admiration and respect, in my opinion.

Either way, living around small children who felt no fear of me was a completely new experience.

Very interesting.

During my many loops, I observed countless people. Kings, soldiers, mages, adventurers, criminals, merchants, old people, and children. Almost all of them reacted to my presence in the same way. Instinctive fear came before reason, before education, even before any conscious judgment.

Rudeus's children were not like that.

Watching them grow made many facets of ordinary people clearer to me. Their doubts, their tantrums, their meaningless questions, their unconvincing attempts to hide guilt, their small games, and their direct way of showing affection.

Honestly, I enjoyed the company of some of them.

But well, let us get to the main point.

Despite not feeling instinctive fear because of my curse, as small children, some of them were still somewhat intimidated by my appearance.

At least, that was what Rudeus said.

And even if they did not feel fear, they were still, most of the time, more polite than anything else. Rudeus made a point of presenting me as his hierarchical superior, despite our alliance, so the children also ended up maintaining a certain formality.

Overall, I can say with certainty that I have never been in a situation like the one I find myself in now.

Observing little Aurora Adoldia, who had pointed out my bad breath in our first meeting and ignored me immediately afterward, I considered what I should do.

I looked at little Lara, who was right beside her. She avoided looking me in the eye.

Was my breath really that bad?

I had worn this helmet intermittently over the past two days to organize matters with Rudeus's family, and his burial. I spoke with Sylphiette, Sara, Roxy, the organization's subordinates, guards, messengers, and other people involved in the arrangements after his death.

So the inside of the helm may have become stuffy, indeed.

I looked at Iris Adoldia.

This was the first daughter of Eris Boreas Greyrat. Or Eris Adoldia, this time.

The little girl was more withdrawn. Quite quiet. She did not look me in the eye like her audacious sister and remained close to the other children, without trying to draw attention.

I heard a sigh beside me.

Nanahoshi approached Aurora, introduced herself as a researcher from Ranoa Magic Academy, and began a conversation.

I observed myself being left aside while the green-haired girl remained at the center of attention.

Looking from the corner of my eye, even the warriors of the Iron Legion were stunned by the situation. They tried to maintain their posture, but their eyes betrayed their bewilderment.

It seemed like a somewhat dissonant situation. In fact, I cannot remember the last time I was ignored in a conversation, if that ever happened at all.

Definitely not like this.

Finally, I heard the sound that would remove me from that situation. A deep roar resounded through the city.

When I looked at the sky, I saw an enormous Red Dragon approaching rapidly, carrying several people on its back.

Ezkalor.

Although he was nowhere near the largest among the Red Dragons, I seriously doubted there was a dragon more powerful than the current Ezkalor.

If he were truly willing, the world could see a new King of the Red Dragons rise through strength.

But, at the same time that he was very powerful, his evident lack of ambition and... laziness were just as notorious.

Although he had the power to reach the top of his race, it was unlikely he would do so because of his naturally idle disposition.

Perhaps that was why Rygar Adoldia had chosen him as a mount. That would make sense, in a way.

I returned my attention to the group.

"I apologize for the bad breath."

The words came out far too serious for the content, but there was not much to be done.

"Either way, I hope your stays in the Magic City have been productive. I will take my leave now."

Aurora turned at that moment and answered immediately, floating up again to the height of my face.

"Hmph! Although you look scary, at least you're not nosy!"

She crossed her small arms in the air.

"You're going to talk to my father, right? Listen carefully. As long as you have that ridiculous weakness of mana recovery, you will never be a match for him!"

Her eyes remained fixed on mine without any fear at all. In fact, they contained a strange confidence for a child.

"When you understand that, maybe you will understand exactly what you are negotiating!"

After saying that, she turned and left accompanied by Lara and the others. And I watched for a few moments.

Was she giving me a friendly warning? No, probably not.

Perhaps she was testing whether I would react aggressively from the start. A small and almost imperceptible smile formed without me realizing it.

Aurora Adoldia.

Besides being a Blessed Child with the Laplace Factor, her personality and cunning seemed quite unique.

Well, by the standards of a child. Her future would still have to be observed in the coming years.

I looked toward where the Red Dragon was heading.

Then I myself began walking toward the headquarters of the Orsted Corporation, created and developed by Rudeus.

This meeting could be a major step toward finally eliminating Hitogami once and for all. I had two main objectives.

Guarantee the safety of the Greyrat family, and secure an alliance, even if an unfavorable one, with the Beast God, to defeat Hitogami.

Despite being a child, Aurora was right. With my current amount of mana, and the disadvantage of recovery, I am no longer capable of killing the Beast God.

And, with that strange armor, I would not even be sure of that even if I were at my peak. But despite everything, this timeline cannot be abandoned.

Hitogami will be killed in this era, no matter the cost.

Even if I have to give my own life to fulfill that mission.

Meanwhile, arriving at the Orsted Corporation were four of the most powerful people in the world.

They were received by a blond elf dressed like a secretary.

Additionally, Pursena had also come along, but she had already separated from the group, as she was in charge of picking up Aurora and Iris at the Magic Academy.

Ezkalor landed near the headquarters with a crash.

Even so, the ground trembled enough to make some employees look out the windows in alarm.

"I am telling you! That cursed sword tried to burn me alive! She is trying to get us out of the way!"

Eris spoke while jumping down from Ezkalor together with Aisha. Rygar and Jino came right behind them.

"That is nonsense, Eris."

Aisha answered while signaling for the secretary to guide them inside the facility.

"Although she may be a sentient weapon, weapons of that type have a defined purpose from birth. Doomsday is no different. Why would she want to get you out of the way?"

"Hmph! How would I know?"

Eris frowned, clearly bothered.

"But I could feel the malice... maybe she wants Rygar all to herself...?"

Aisha looked at Eris with a strange expression, then opened a bitter smile.

"Are you afraid of losing your place to a sword, Eris?"

"What? Of course not!"

Meanwhile, farther back, came Jino and Rygar. Both were dressed in the familiar mantle of the Sword Sanctuary.

Jino walked casually, with one hand resting on the hilt of his blade.

"Are you sure you want to let her take command of the Execution Hall? I mean... she would love it, but there is still the information leak."

Rygar looked around while expanding his senses to quickly map the city of Sharia. In a few seconds, the city began to form in his mind like a map.

"Stop insisting on that. She has already received enough punishment. Disregarding everything else, she contributed greatly in the Ever-White Labyrinth. Everyone can attest to that."

Rygar spoke while identifying the exact position of the Dragon God.

"Besides, in my individual opinion, I actually found it much better that they came after me. Can you imagine what would have happened if both of them had been in the Ever-White Labyrinth?"

Jino sighed.

"You say that because you survived. But the fact that they went after you meant a potential execution. If you had died there, the gravity of that information leak would be unforgivable. You realize that, right?"

Rygar finished mapping the city and smiled carefree.

"Well, I would not be here to judge, so it would not be my problem!"

Jino stared at him in silence, and Rygar merely laughed.

"Hehe. But look on the bright side. I am not dead, right? Theorizing hypothetical scenarios where everything goes wrong is just a way to suffer in advance."

Rygar looked at Eris and Aisha walking ahead, still arguing about Doomsday. Jino finally gave up, and he relaxed a little.

"Then all right, I will inform her about it. She will be happy, you can be sure."

The newly created Execution Hall would be a Kingdom task force intended exclusively to eliminate major threats across the entire world.

With teleportation circles being established on a large scale, transportation would not be a problem.

To lead this task force, Rygar recommended the Sword Emperor-level swordswoman, Nina Britz.

She was capable, pragmatic, still relatively young, and would be able to learn over time and further improve that task force.

Ezkalor, after leaving his passengers, quickly looked around and found an enormous tree that would serve as shade. He walked over to it, lay down lazily, and fell asleep almost instantly.

The enormous Red Dragon left guards and employees confused, forced to go around his body to reach their own destinations.

The four continued through the corridors, being guided by the secretary.

Aisha noticed that the elf was very composed, probably because she dealt daily with World Powers.

Whether her brother, Rudeus, the Dragon God, Orsted, or the North God, Kalman, all of them belonged to that level. And Orsted still had his curse to constantly worsen his interactions.

Even so, Aisha admired the elf's composure as she led them to a comfortable room.

There were pastries on the table and even tea prepared. The environment was simple, clean, and well organized.

To Rygar, it looked quite... corporate.

It was something rare, considering that the culture of that world leaned more toward the medieval, before anything resembling the modern era even existed.

Probably the influence of the other reincarnated person from Earth, Rudeus.

Once they settled in, Aisha looked at the wall and saw a marble stone with seven magical inscriptions engraved on it.

"Oh, is this a stone of the Seven Powers?"

Everyone looked at the wall, and Aisha moved a little closer.

"It looks different from the ordinary ones. I wonder if it was created from scratch?"

Indeed, it was just like one of the stones of the Seven Powers, but it was carved from smooth gray marble. Before any of them could answer, a grave voice spoke:

"It was made by Rudeus Greyrat and Zanoba Shirone together, by modifying one of the already existing Stones."

Orsted entered through the inner door. Behind him came the North God, Kalman III.

And, after him, a young adult who appeared to be around twenty years old, with wheat-colored hair and small horns on his forehead.

This was the young leader of the current Sword Sanctuary, the self-proclaimed Half-Blood Emperor. Ajax Telamonian.

At that moment, the seven people present looked at one another simultaneously.

The stone of the Seven Powers remained on the wall, serving as both a warning and a subtle presentation of the great names that would enter the annals of history.
