Mrs. Huo is a Crybaby Chapter 5: Gege, My Name is Song Yaoyao

Previously on Mrs. Huo is a Crybaby...
After trespassing into Huo Yunque's area, Song Yaoyao was ordered to be removed, but she defiantly clung to his robe, demanding an apology for her injury. Despite her tears and delicate appearance, she refused to let go. When a subordinate attempted to intervene, Song Yaoyao surprisingly incapacitated him, insisting that the matter was solely between her and Huo Yunque.

Song Yaoyao raised her gaze. The man towered over her, his height so imposing that her head only reached the level of his chest. She had been so consumed by her sobbing earlier that she hadn't truly looked at him until this moment. He possessed strikingly handsome features, dark hair, and a pair of narrow, elongated phoenix eyes that gave him an amorous air. Dressed in a moon-colored, traditional Chinese-style robe, he carried a cold, prestigious aura, looking as though he had stepped right out of a classical painting.

Song Yaoyao’s lips parted slightly as she instinctively brushed the red mole on her wrist. Only those closest to her were aware that she made this gesture whenever she laid eyes on something she desired.

Noticing her dazed state, Huo Yunque shook his head. “No answer? Then I’m leaving,” he remarked, turning to walk away.

Song Yaoyao snapped back to her senses instantly. Reaching out to grab the man, she carefully rose onto her tiptoes and leaned toward him.

In a tiny voice, she whispered, “If you don’t want to apologize, you don’t have to... Instead, you can blow on it for me.”

This young lady was truly flirtatious, temperamental, and full of herself.

Huo Qi rolled his eyes and squeezed them shut. He simply couldn't bring himself to watch the fate that awaited her.

Would Master Huo lose his temper and snap her neck? Huo Qi let out a sigh. What a waste that would be...

Huo Yunque looked down at her. This girl certainly knew how to take a mile when given an inch. He had no intention of playing along with her; her temperament was far too peculiar.

However, just as he prepared to pull away, he noticed the girl’s toes beginning to tremble. Looking into her large, watery eyes, he saw an expression that was both pitiful and full of hope.

His lips pressed together thinly. Before he even realized what he was doing, he leaned down and blew. It took only a single puff...

Song Yaoyao felt satisfied. Blushing, she raised a hand to gingerly touch her forehead. The spot where the man’s breath had landed felt numb and tingly.

The pain seemed to have vanished.

Huo Yunque stared at the beaming girl with a hint of doubt. Had he really just gone soft on her?

“I’m leaving.” Huo Yunque turned coldly and walked away with long strides.

As he was about to vanish from her sight, Song Yaoyao suddenly realized she hadn't given him her name. “By the way! My name is Song Yaoyao! Gege, you have to remember me~”

G-Gege?

Huo Qi stumbled and nearly tripped over himself in shock.

The corner of Huo Yunque’s mouth twitched slightly. With an indifferent expression, he glanced at Huo Qi and said, “If you are tired, go swap places with Huo Wu.”

Huo Qi’s face instantly filled with sorrow, yet he didn't dare utter a word.

The two men ascended the stairs in silence, one following the other. However, Huo Qi happened to look down at the right moment and was stunned by the scene below. “Sir, what is that girl doing? Is she lost?”

Huo Yunque cast a lazy glance over the railing.

Below them, Song Yaoyao was scurrying along a small path that intersected with several others. Every direction was lined with identical greenery. Each time she suspected she was going the wrong way, she would try a different turn. After a while, she didn't even realize she was walking in circles.

Huo Qi covered his eyes, unable to bear the sight of it.

He had encountered people with poor senses of direction before—but never someone this hopeless!

“Ahem...”

Huo Yunque pressed a clenched fist against his lips. As his mouth curled into a faint smile, he commanded, “Show her the way out.”

Given her terrible sense of direction, he suspected she would still be wandering there, starving, by the next day.

Huo Qi was startled, but he bowed respectfully and replied, “Yes, I will handle it immediately!”

The moment he finished speaking, he started to rush downstairs. Suddenly, Huo Yunque’s voice echoed behind him again, “Forget it, lead her all the way to the restaurant.”

Recalling how she had blundered into his private area, he had a feeling she wouldn't manage to find the restaurant even if they just showed her the exit.

“Yes, I understand.”

Huo Qi responded calmly, but his mind was racing. Since when had Master Huo ever been this considerate and kind?
