Jiang Fei altered the energy string's frequency to weaken the stone wall's defense, then used the Chengying sword to retrieve the hexagram-shaped key from the underground chamber. He teleported back to the palace, showed the key to Ariel and Nina, and discussed opening the seal soon to fulfill the 10,000-year pact with the mechs. The next morning, Su Rui and Su Zhe confirmed the key's authenticity and agreed to proceed urgently that night amid concerns over the elders and returning exiles.

“Tonight? Fine! Let’s do it tonight then!” Su Zhe clenched his teeth. He’d already weighed his options carefully. Having resolved to break the seal, he figured it was smarter to act fast instead of delaying.

“That’s great! I’ll go prepare now!” Su Rui responded, then spun around and headed out.

“Don’t alarm too many people. Keep the idea a secret!” Jiang Fei cautioned.

“Don’t worry. I know what I’m doing!” Su Rui assured him before turning and departing.

“I’ll go and prepare as well!” Su Zhe saw no point lingering by Jiang Fei’s side. He shared little in common with him anyway.

“Your Majesty, it’s best if you don’t alert the people around you too early. The situation around you is more complicated,” Jiang Fei advised.

“Yes, I know.” Su Zhe nodded. Even as a God King, he undoubtedly had countless spies nearby. They might not betray him outright, but leaking info for profit was unavoidable. Su Zhe, as ruler, understood this well.

Once Su Zhe and Su Rui had departed, Jiang Fei remained seated with the two girls. They exchanged glances. The trio had no preparations needed. They simply awaited nightfall to unseal it.

A day flew by in an instant. Su Rui bustled about outside. Yet the palace stayed calm. Su Zhe held off assembling his forces. As dusk approached, he abruptly summoned a squad of royal guards, then summoned Jiang Fei and the others before exiting the city.

Not even the royal guards’ leader knew the God King’s intentions. But none dared question it. Thus, they trailed him out of the city in confusion. Beyond the walls, Jiang Fei’s group linked up with Su Rui and his team, who had already slipped out under the guise of a hunt.

The combined forces merged into one unit and pressed into the mountains. By then, even the royal guards realized the God King aimed for the forbidden zone. Yet it was far too late to report back. At that point, fleeing to notify anyone—or even straying from the group—meant instant execution!

Before long, the party breached the mountain’s forbidden area. Soldiers patrolled it constantly year-round. But they could block ordinary folk. Who would dare halt Su Zhe, the God King himself?

As such, Jiang Fei and his companions slipped into the forbidden zone without issue. They trekked straight to a cavern deep within the peaks.

“This is the entrance to the seal,” Su Zhe announced from the lead.

“Then, open it!” Jiang Fei drew a deep breath.

“Okay!” Su Zhe nodded and advanced. He fiddled with the stone wall briefly, triggering a heavy mechanical rumble.

“Creak... Creak...”

The grinding gears echoed dully. Whatever shifted was clearly massive.

Moments later, a silver-white metal pillar emerged from the cave mouth. Its design screamed mech tech—Jiang Fei recognized it instantly.

With the silver-white pillar ascended, Su Zhe stepped closer and produced the two keys from his person. The one Jiang Fei had retrieved was now in his grasp too.

“Ka!”

“Ka!”

Two sharp clicks rang out as Su Zhe slotted the keys into their holes.

“Chi...”

“Ka Ka Ka Ka...”

The keys engaged, and the silver-white pillar whirred into motion, twisting about. Segmented into multiple parts, each adjusted angles precisely, like unlocking a complex safe.

Roughly two minutes passed before the pillar steadied and retracted into the earth.

“Let’s go!” Su Zhe strode into the cave. Su Rui, Jiang Fei, and the rest hurried after. The imperial guards and attendants brought up the rear.

Shortly after entering, Jiang Fei noted the cave aglow with light. Incandescent sources lined the walls, banishing all shadows.

Deeper in, they passed numerous sealed gates, now unlocked. After about twenty minutes of walking, the group reached a towering silver-white metal door.

“This is the place!” Su Zhe activated several controls on the nearby console. He’d studied the royal manual thoroughly beforehand—it detailed seal-opening procedures.

Following the instructions, a tray extended. Su Zhe nicked his middle finger and smeared blood across it.

“DNA testing...”

“Identity verification complete...”

A mechanical voice chimed in, identical to the one Jiang Fei first heard from 0541.

This final door was evidently designed so only mechs could break the seal. Its aim was to stop the mechs from hiding their technology before getting exterminated by rival races. If things truly unfolded that way, the Mechs' technology wouldn't end up in enemy clutches.

Once identity verification passed, the door slid open. The hall continued to glow from an unknown light source.

Su Zhe led the way into the hall. Su Rui stuck close behind him. Jiang Fei and the two girls trailed right after. Thanks to several Royal Guards officers and a handful of Su Rui’s loyal subordinates, everyone else stayed outside the hall.

Inside the hall, Jiang Fei spotted a powered-down console and massive screen, plus several passageways. Their entrances bore labels in ancient Nemesis Star Language: Armory, Science and Technology Library, database, and more.

“How does this thing work?” Su Rui pointed at the console and asked.

“I’m not sure...” Su Zhe shook his head. The royal family’s manual only detailed entering the door, with no further explanations.

“Let me do it!” Jiang Fei stepped forward. He knew Planet Namek’s technology well.

Jiang Fei advanced and expertly powered up the control panel. As the big screen flickered on, Su Rui’s eyes bulged with excitement—this matched one of the scroll’s recorded details!

“The Prophecy is true! I must leave this place and live the life recorded in the scroll!” Su Rui roared excitedly in his heart.

“0544, take over the control panel.” Jiang Fei had no interest in manual operation, so he handed control directly to 0544.

“Yes, Captain!” 0544 executed Jiang Fei’s command. He swiftly seized the control panel and the entire underground treasure house.

“Has the data been collected?” Jiang Fei asked 0544.

“It has been transmitted!” 0544 replied, then continued reporting to Jiang Fei, “The treasure house divides into four sections. The largest is the database, stuffed with vast technology and information. The other three hold civilian tech equipment, military weapons gear, and medical devices.”

“Okay!” Jiang Fei nodded. Then he instructed 0544, “Set the rest aside for now. Back up all the technological information and technical knowledge for me!”

“Yes, Captain!” 0544 immediately carried out the order.
