Anthony faced an Eternal Apex who had been sent by the Vanishing Reapers to capture him alive. The Apex revealed the bounty was placed by the Asura Clan, whose relative Anthony had killed, and that the poison used against Anthony was potent enough to kill an Eternal Grade being. Anthony sent Jerry to the Divine Realm before confronting the Eternal Apex, who seemed unusually talkative.

Anthony could have just sent Jerry to the Mirror Dimension, but Anthony wasn’t too confident about that. If this Eternal Apex could bypass the restrictions of The Sleeping Hollow like it was nothing, who was to say the same thing couldn’t be done to the Mirror Dimension?

As for the Divine Realm, it was a gift from ??? himself. This Eternal Apex could only try to find Jerry, but would definitely end up with no leads. But Anthony didn’t send Jerry into the Divine Realm without precautions. After all, he didn’t want the boy walking around, seeing how amazing the Divine Realm was, and eating one of the Law Fruits.

So, Anthony simply sealed Jerry within his own building that was inside the Divine Realm. There, Jerry could relax, eat, sleep, and do whatever he wanted until Anthony had this Eternal Apex sorted out.

The Eternal Apex arched an eyebrow as he saw Jerry vanish, but he wasn’t too bothered. When he captured Anthony, he would find Jerry and kill him; he couldn’t afford to have loose ends.

"Let’s begin," Anthony stated as he exhaled slowly, his hands clasped behind his back just as the Eternal Apex’s were.

The Eternal Apex was even more surprised. He couldn’t believe that Anthony was seriously about to put up some sort of resistance. He couldn’t help but wonder if Anthony didn’t understand the difference between an Eternal Apex and everything else below.

Although he didn’t see any trace of fear within Anthony’s eyes, he wasn’t surprised. After all, Anthony wasn’t the first fearless person or the first person who wasn’t afraid of death or anything of the sort.

Although Anthony’s Beginning of All Things Physique could only allow him to cross two Major Ranks, which was already an insane feat but still nowhere near enough to match an Eternal Apex, he wasn’t exactly bothered.

Why?

The answer was simple. Back at the Acarnis Galaxy, on the Blue Planet, when Anthony had met the Demon King, Azrath Kaelthar Morvanyx Doomrend, for the first time, the Demon King had been physically stronger than Anthony to an absurd degree.

So, Anthony bought an ability from the system shop that continuously multiplied his physical stats. Anthony planned to use that same skill against the Eternal Apex.

Of course, after he officially broke through to the Apexus Life Rank back on the Blue Planet, Anthony no longer needed the ability, as he could suppress the Demon King and the God at the same time.

So again, Laws weren’t Anthony’s greatest trump cards; his broken skills and overpowered abilities were.

If he had used this ability against Death Renderer, he would have one-shotted the Dark Knight before he even knew what was happening.

At this moment, Anthony had already activated the ability. The Mental Calculation under Sense Dome was also calculating the optimal future at the moment, as he didn’t want to be caught off guard.

The Eternal Apex’s surprised expression turned into one of amusement. He decided to entertain Anthony a little bit. He stretched out a hand from behind his back as he pointed his fingers towards Anthony, his middle finger held back by his thumb.

The next moment, his middle finger snapped forward like a bullet as he flicked it. The moment the middle finger flicked forward, an outrageous blast of shockwaves and soundwaves erupted backwards in ruinous madness as it slammed directly towards Anthony.

Anthony didn’t take a step back, nor did his expression change. His Mental Calculation ability had already calculated this future, and as for Anthony’s defence, his defence was to attack with the same attack the Eternal Apex had just used.

His right hand stretched forward, his middle finger held back by his thumb as he finally flicked his finger forward. And just like that, another apocalyptic blast surged forward. The moment the two shockwaves and soundwaves met, ruinous madness ensued as everything within a fifty-kilometre radius was blasted backwards. Trees were torn asunder until not even their splinters remained, chunks of earth tore off, and ravines and sinkholes appeared throughout the region with just one casual attack from both of them.

Although it seemed like a casual attack, at this stage, that mere flick of their middle fingers was enough to destroy any Lower Galaxy out there.

The Eternal Apex’s amused expression changed from amusement to pure shock as he couldn’t comprehend what he had just seen. His expression then returned to one of indifference as he immediately recovered his composure.

Although the attack’s level wasn’t on the level of an Eternal Apex, it was most definitely enough to push an Eternal Regent backwards.

The Eternal Apex didn’t suddenly believe that Anthony possessed the strength to match an Eternal Apex, but right now, what Anthony had just done simply made him want to capture Anthony even more. He simply decided to stop wasting time, capture Anthony immediately, and begin his experiments.

With that, he vanished from where he stood, his figure appearing before Anthony in less than half a split second. His hand moved towards Anthony’s shoulder with gentle ease as he moved to catch Anthony by the shoulder, but the moment his hand was about to touch Anthony’s shoulder, Anthony moved, his body weaving to the side as he spun and came to a stop beside the Eternal Apex, moving to place his hand on the Eternal Apex’s shoulder.

But before his palm could connect, the Eternal Apex’s body appeared in another direction as though he had never been near Anthony to begin with. They weren’t moving with any Laws, just pure speed.

The Eternal Apex simply stared at Anthony as he wondered what was happening. Everything seemed wrong at the moment. After all, even the speed he had shown at this moment was faster than what Starseers possessed. Yet Anthony dodged and even countered.

’Don’t tell me he possesses the strength of an Eternal Apex just two weeks after his ascension,’ he thought to himself.

Although he was calm on the exterior, he wasn’t exactly calm within. Because if his thoughts were true, then it meant this wasn’t such an easy mission as he had imagined. It meant that things had escalated into a life-and-death battle.
