Although the resurrected Merfolk had surrounded the building, Anthony didn’t really care. Weaklings were weaklings, no matter how many times they came back to life. Besides, it wasn’t like he didn’t have a permanent solution for their so-called immortality, or whatever it was.

"I, Queen Yuvak of the Merfolk Tribe, sentence you to life imprisonment," Queen Yuvak stated as she pointed her trident towards Anthony’s chest.

Anthony drew his katana in a slow motion, the weapon hissing as it slid out of its scabbard.

"I accept," he stated with a smug smile on his face.

The moment those words left Anthony’s lips, Queen Yuvak moved. Her legs dipped forward slightly, her muscles straining like springs. The next moment, the ground beneath her feet shattered as she shot towards him in a burst of motion, closing the distance in an instant.

She didn’t speak anymore. It was time to bring down the prisoner, and she didn’t hold back.

Anthony also moved. As the golden trident closed in on his chest, he simply twisted out of the way at the last second, but he didn’t just dodge, he attacked. His katana screamed upwards from below as he moved to sever Queen Yuvak’s hand from her elbow.

Queen Yuvak, seeing her attack miss and Anthony attack her, didn’t delay. She immediately drew back her trident. It spun in her hand as she instantly stopped Anthony’s katana with the shaft of her weapon.

A metallic shriek thundered outwards upon their collision, blasting the air through the room with an intense impact. The chair and table were flung backwards as they slammed into the wall of glass, both shattering upon impact.

Sky-blue eyes met ocean-blue ones. The next moment, they both vanished from where they stood, exchanging rapid, high-speed attacks. One was a blur of blue, the other a blur of white, katana and trident meeting endlessly, their movements still restricted to the room.

They seemed to be in a stalemate, but the next moment, the stalemate broke as Anthony’s katana met the head of the trident, the force behind the attack tearing Queen Yuvak downwards. Her feet slammed into the ground with insane force, shattering the ground beneath them as both of them plummeted from the topmost floor to the lower floors.

The Law Of Ice hummed around Queen Yuvak as she unleashed thousands of high-speed ice construct weapons. Anthony didn’t bother tapping into any Laws. He simply gave chase with a smile on his face, his katana and hand blurring with blitzing speed as he deflected each attack, each of them tearing through the building’s walls and floors as they moved lower and lower.

Queen Yuvak rotated midair as she came to a stop at another lower floor. Her head snapped upwards towards the incoming Anthony. Her Law Of Water hummed around her as she tried to manipulate the water within Anthony’s body to explode him from within, like he had done with her subordinates.

But how could such an attack work? The Beginning Of All Things Physique wasn’t a joke, nor was it something so easily manipulated.

Anthony’s katana came down from above like judgement from the heavens themselves. Queen Yuvak hastily blocked with her trident’s shaft, the impact of the collision coursing violently through her body.

She couldn’t help but wonder how a Human could be this strong. She was using her battle suit that enhanced her speed, strength, and reaction time, yet she was still losing.

Anthony smirked, his wrist twisting as he changed the position of his katana, expertly flicking the trident to the side. Before Queen Yuvak could even recalibrate, Anthony was already on the move. His left foot left the ground as he spun on his right one, and with rocketing impact, the heel of his left foot met Queen Yuvak’s head.

Queen Yuvak’s head snapped to the side, her body shooting sideways with immense momentum. She tore through the building’s glass walls, shattering them into shards as water from the outside finally flooded the building.

Anthony didn’t wait. He dove into the ocean as he gave chase. Queen Yuvak, seeing Anthony fly towards her, simply swam upwards, her body changing into her Mermaid form as her legs seemed to merge, scales spreading downwards as her lower body turned into that of a fish.

Her trident spun dexterously in her hands as she immediately pointed it towards Anthony and commanded the ocean itself. The moment she did, the ocean itself came alive as an enormous Water Cyclone seemed to form around him, the ocean, enhanced by the Law Of Water, possessing terrifying force.

Anthony felt the attack against his body as the Water Cyclone became stronger and stronger with every passing moment while he stood within it. Anthony didn’t panic. His skin was simply too tough to be cut by this level of attack.

He raised his katana as he decided to use one of his katana techniques, something he hadn’t done in a few years. The Law Of Sword hummed around him as he raised his sword above his head.

The moment he activated his Endless Katana Technique, the Law Of Sword humming around him instantly intensified as he brought his sword down in a calm motion that seemed slow, as though reality itself didn’t want such a beautiful swing to happen instantaneously.

The moment he slashed, there was no flash of light or anything of the sort, but the Law Of Sword burst outwards in raging madness as the entire Water Cyclone was instantly split in half, then another half, then another, before it collapsed in totality. But it didn’t stop there. The Law Of Sword flashed even more as a section of the ocean itself was instantly split in half.

A sword mark carved deep into the seabed as it stretched outwards for meters, a chasm opening at the bottom of the sea.

Queen Yuvak, who had been controlling the Water Cyclone, immediately moved as she tried to dodge Anthony’s katana attack. Although she couldn’t see it, she could still feel the sensation of death gripping her body. But alas, it was useless as she was instantly split in half from head to tail, her battle suit doing nothing to mitigate the damage.

But the moment she was split in half and blood stained the ocean, she immediately regenerated, her body stitching itself back together grotesquely as the Blessings of The Lover Of Death brought her back to life.

Queen Yuvak wore a huge frown on her face as she swam backwards at a speed that surpassed the speed of sound. In her Mermaid form, she was meant to be stronger, but even after she had used the power of the trident to command the ocean, she had still died.

She couldn’t help but curse the kind of genius the outside world had created this time. But as she swam, Anthony appeared beside her, his speed swift. The moment he appeared, his katana tore through the water as he decapitated Queen Yuvak with utter ease.

The moment her head separated from her body, tendrils of blood from her head and neck immediately connected to each other and pulled themselves together as her body reattached once again.

But Anthony seemed too eager to test the extent of their immortality. His hand blurred as the Law Of Sword hummed across his blade.

In an instant, he performed over a thousand slashes as he diced Queen Yuvak into fragments that were too small for the Human eye to see. But even then, she came back to life. Truly, The Lover Of Death was no small guy.
