Anthony finished reading several books in the Heavenly Library, learning about cultivation ranks, special advantages like Bloodlines and Physiques, the comprehension of Laws, and the nature of Titles. He then left the library, surprising the Librarian by using Thought Conception to create a spatial portal shortly after ascending, demonstrating a mastery of space far beyond his recent advancement.

Anthony appeared within the open space of his courtyard. The moment he appeared, the smell of something amazing hit his nostrils. Anthony could already tell it was Jarod, who had already begun cooking as instructed.

Anthony raised his head to the sky. It was already dark; the suns had already vanished as five moons hung in the sky, bathing the Hellinder Realm in their glow. Thought Conception activated as Anthony waved his hand, and a table and two chairs appeared.

Anthony simply sat in one as he waited for Jarod to be done, letting the cool night breeze caress his skin.

’I should call Mom, Dad, Grandpa, and Grandma, just to let them know I’m alright,’ Anthony thought to himself. He needed to talk to them. He knew how worried they would be at the moment.

Anthony’s phone appeared in his hand, but the phone had no service as the Hellinder Realm seemed to not support this level of technology. The phone vanished from Anthony’s hand as he activated Thought Conception and immediately established a video call to his parents and grandparents without the need for any phone. A rectangular heads-up display appeared before him, displaying the call interface at its centre.

The call was immediately answered, and Mitchelle’s voice cut through the air, filled with worry.

{Are you there yet? Did something happen? Were you attacked? Did the Ascension fail? Are you injured?}

Mitchelle fired off a rapid barrage of questions as she had clearly been too worried and seemed to have been trying to call Anthony but couldn’t get through.

{Honey, I told you to calm down. He’s our son and the greatest genius. I told you he would be fine. If he can’t pass the Ascension, then the Ascension should be removed in its entirety.}

Michael’s voice came next, as he was always the most confident when it came to Anthony’s abilities and wasn’t even a tad bit worried.

"I’m fine, Mom. There is no need to be worried. I ascended hours ago, but a lot of things have been happening, so I didn’t have the time to make a call to the four of you," Anthony spoke with a smile.

{As long as you are fine, then we have nothing to worry about.}

Collins’ voice came next, a small smile gracing his lips as though he was relieved that Anthony had called them.

{So, how is the Upper Galaxy?}

Irene asked, her eyes staring into Anthony’s through the screen.

"Well, I don’t really know yet since I’ve just ascended. I’m still new to things and don’t have all the information, but all in all, it’s good," Anthony replied.

{You said a lot of things have been happening. Tell us about them. And if possible, walk us through your Ascension so we can know what to expect.}

Mitchelle spoke, no longer worried as she could now see her son was perfectly fine.

Anthony agreed and began to talk about everything, as he simply had no reason to hide anything. He talked about the Existence Test, how it was supposed to test whether one truly knew who they were on the deepest level. Then he proceeded to tell them about his meeting with the Will of the Acarnis Galaxy, explaining how the being also had its own test but had chosen to simply allow everyone to pass.

Anthony touched on reaching the Ecliptica Galaxy. He talked about meeting the four races who had attacked him in hopes of forcing him to sign a Slave Contract, then how the Ancestor and Founder of the Null Family had intervened and saved him. He also explained how an entire Null Sect actually existed, together with some freakishly powerful Core Elders.

Anthony didn’t leave anything out, as there was simply no reason to.

After he was done explaining, the call fell silent as Michael, Irene, Collins, and Mitchelle were truly left speechless. A whole host of revelations had been laid before them.

{When you said a lot of things had been happening, I didn’t think much of it, but after hearing you speak, that seems like an understatement.}

Mitchelle’s voice came, breaking through the silence.

{The Null Family Founder...}

Collins spoke as the revelation truly shook him to the core. Every past Family Head had already died, and he also knew about the Null Family Founder. He was recorded within the family archives, depicted as a man who had ruled and suppressed generations before him and after him through his mere presence alone.

Now, hearing that he was a Sect Master and had established the Null Sect, continuing their legacy through the Upper Galaxy, left Collins utterly amazed.

{Let’s forget about the Founder for now. The most important thing is that Anthony was almost made into a slave.}

Irene’s voice came next.

At Irene’s words, Anthony simply smiled. He didn’t deny it. If the Sword Ruler hadn’t come to his rescue, he would have been captured. Those four had been holding back greatly, as they hadn’t even used their Laws. Only the Asura had used his Law, and that was merely to stop Anthony’s regeneration.

But it wouldn’t have made much difference because, with Thought Conception, he could simply break out of the Slave Contract even if he had been captured.

Anthony asked his father and grandfather about the Tomb of the Forgotten, and it turned out it still remained back at the Null Estate.

{Does the Founder have a family? Like a wife and a child?}

Michael asked as he wondered whether another branch of the Null Family had been established within the Upper Galaxy.

"I would say no, but I’m not certain. However, from what I’ve observed, I can make that conclusion," Anthony replied. "Also, he came to the Acarnis Galaxy to look at the Null Family. As for how far back that was, I don’t know, but it was before any of us were even born."

Everyone nodded their heads, although Anthony couldn’t understand why they had asked that question.

"Also, would you like to meet the Founder?" Anthony asked, his question directed towards Michael and Collins.

Silence reigned for a moment as neither Mitchelle nor Irene spoke, simply waiting for their husbands to answer.

{I will decline.}

Collins answered first with a shake of his head.

Anthony was about to speak, but Irene spoke first.

{Huh? Why? When we were younger, the Null Ancestor was basically your biggest hero, and you went on and on about how you were going to achieve even greater heights than him.}

Irene, who was seated beside Collins, asked as she had thought her husband would immediately agree.

{Sigh... I wouldn’t know how to act or even what to say. Besides, there is a saying: "Never meet your heroes."}

Collins replied with a shake of his head.

{Yeah... I will also be declining, unless we happen to meet for some unknown reason.}

Michael followed up with a shake of his head.

Anthony merely smiled and said nothing else. He knew Collins was only playing the "never meet your heroes" card as an excuse. He understood they were simply trying to avoid any awkwardness.

Although Anthony had never met Nathaniel when the man was younger and still within the Acarnis Galaxy, from what he had seen here in the Upper Galaxy, there was some truth to what Irene had said. After all, the man was still dominating the Hellinder Realm.

But as for where the Founder stood amongst the very best of the best, Anthony simply didn’t know.

Anthony talked a little more with his parents before he bade them goodbye. They advised him to return at any time if anything ever became too much for him. According to Mitchelle, they would be ascending in six months, as they would be done with their military duties by then.

As the call ended, the heads-up display vanished. Anthony stared at the clouds, happy that he had spoken with his parents.

’I wonder how Lucian and the rest are doing at the moment,’ Anthony thought to himself.
