Anthony's family departed through a portal after a warm farewell. Reflecting on his family and his own past, Anthony decided to meet Vega before regrouping with Aaaninja and Lucian. During his shower, he pondered the difficult choices his friends might face regarding their romantic relationships and Ascension, before ultimately deciding not to interfere. He then used his Authority of Severance to travel to Vega.

Anthony’s figure appeared within the Klaus Estate, specifically in Vega’s room, where she seemed to be trying out new sets of clothes. Sensing Anthony’s arrival, she turned towards him and smiled as she spoke.

"It seems you didn’t miss me enough," her voice low. "I thought you would come immediately after you teleported everyone back, but it seems my charms are already fading." She paused for a moment before adding, "Do you love another person?" her voice teasing as her purple eyes met his sky-blue ones.

Anthony simply smiled at Vega’s words. He didn’t react to them. She had always been like this, finding opportunities to tease him whenever she could and watching his reaction. Unfortunately for her, he had a good reply today.

"I was on my way, but then I got occupied by my parents and grandparents," he answered as he walked forward.

Vega paused for a moment before nodding her head as she spoke. "It’s been a while since I’ve seen Mitchelle." Then she turned back towards the mirror in front of her.

Arriving directly behind Vega, Anthony hugged her from behind as his arms wrapped around her shoulders and waist. "I’ve missed you, you know? It seemed like a century since I last saw you," he said calmly, lowering his head and planting a kiss on her neck.

Vega smiled like a woman completely swept off her feet as she replied, "I missed you too, which is why I tried rushing my training as fast as possible." She paused before adding, "I know you are addicted to me," her tone slightly flirtatious.

Anthony shook his head before taking a step back and sitting on her bed as he spoke. "Well, I guess that is true."

Vega simply chuckled and said nothing else, her eyes still fixed on the mirror before her.

Anthony stayed silent for a moment before speaking again. "I also wanted to apologise for teleporting you into such a huge battle without even speaking to you first, then teleporting you back right after the battle was over."

At Anthony’s words, she immediately paused before turning towards him. "Ant, you seem to forget that I’m not like most women who get sensitive about such things, so there is no need to apologise," she said sweetly, smiling at him.

Anthony shook his head before following up. "I know that, Vee, but I still wanted to apologise," a small sigh escaping his lips.

Vega simply smiled as she said, "I will accept a date next week as an apology then." She turned back towards the mirror as she spoke.

"No problem." Anthony didn’t reject the idea. After all, it had been a while since he and Vega had gone on a date together. Maybe one last look around the Acarnis Galaxy before their Ascension.

"Besides," Vega continued as she looked into the mirror, "you know I don’t like missing big events like those. Imagine me missing the War of the Eon." She shook her head at the thought. "Besides, the battles I had during the war allowed me to test out many things after my breakthrough," she stated.

Anthony nodded his head, having expected Vega to say something along those lines.

Seeing Vega so focused on picking out a dress that she had been staring at herself in the mirror for the past few minutes as though every piece of clothing didn’t already perfectly match her, a question couldn’t help but arise in his mind.

"So, what’s the occasion? You’ve been testing a lot of clothes since I got here, and you seem to have been at it for quite a while now," Anthony asked as his eyes trailed over the gowns, heels, and jewellery that were scattered across the room, floor, and bed.

Anthony stared at every piece of clothing as he thought to himself, ’Women would have clothes like these and still say they have nothing to wear or that nothing fits.’ He mused silently, not daring to say such words out loud.

To Anthony, it was precisely because women had too many clothes that they were always saying they had nothing to wear, constantly having to buy new gowns and outfits for every event they attended. Then, after the event was over, they would most likely never wear those clothes again.

"Veronica and I haven’t gone out or seen each other much lately, so we decided to meet up and go out tonight," Vega answered. "You know, have a little girls’ night out and have a little fun here and there," her voice low. "Although we’ve also invited Aaaninja’s girlfriend, Altheria. She should be arriving at the Blue Planet any time soon and, you know, we wanted to show her around a bit before the date. Otherwise, touring the Blue Planet would become the date itself." She paused for a moment before frowning and taking off the gown she was wearing.

Anthony couldn’t help but roll his eyes as he saw Vega remove the perfectly fine gown in dissatisfaction. He couldn’t help but wonder who she was even dressing for. Wasn’t it supposed to be a girls’ night out? Certainly, she wasn’t dressing for Veronica and Altheria, right?

He wanted to say something, to tease her a little just as she always teased him. But alas, he couldn’t. That seemed to be Vega’s field rather than his. He could only sigh and wave his hand, using Quantum Manipulation to weave and create some of the finest female clothing he could think of.

The fabrics shimmered into existence one after another, crafted with impossible precision. Elegant gowns, stylish dresses, luxurious accessories, and countless combinations appeared throughout the room. Some carried shimmering patterns woven into their designs, while others radiated understated elegance that would have made entire fashion industries jealous. To Anthony, it was merely a casual use of his abilities. To anyone else, it would have looked like a miracle.

Vega’s eyes immediately lit up like a torch as she pounced towards the newly created clothes and began sorting them into categories that Anthony didn’t understand in the slightest. Somehow, she seemed to know exactly where every item belonged.

Anthony watched in silence as she moved from one outfit to another with frightening efficiency, occasionally holding one against herself before discarding it and moving on to the next. The process looked completely irrational to him, yet Vega appeared to understand it perfectly.

’No wonder women are never ready on time for anything,’ he thought to himself. ’Their preparation literally takes a decade.’

Even so, there was no annoyance in his thoughts, in stead, there was a sense of comfort. Moments like these were rare nowadays. Their lives had become increasingly filled with cultivation, responsibilities, battles, and preparations for Ascension. Entire months could pass in what felt like days, and before they knew it, another major event would demand their attention.

Yet here they were, one sitting on a bed, the other struggling to decide what to wear.

Anthony leaned back slightly as he watched Vega continue her endless evaluation of dresses and accessories. Every now and then she would glance at him, seeking silent approval, only for him to nod and tell her that every option looked good. Naturally, that answer never seemed to help.

Instead, she would narrow down her choices before creating an entirely new dilemma for herself.

Anthony could only shake his head, helping his woman pick out clothing that he knew she would definitely love, he found himself content with spending the rest of the evening exactly like this.
