MIGHT AS WELL BE OP Chapter 1163: Absolute Technique
Previously on MIGHT AS WELL BE OP...
As Anthony stood staring at the Demon King, his sky-blue eyes tore to the side to see God racing toward the both of them. Anthony smirked as he raised his hand, a bow forming with ease as he created one on the spot. An arrow of Bow Intent appeared upon the bow, and without missing a beat, Anthony drew back the string and fired.
The moment he shot the Intent arrow, it immediately multiplied into the millions, every single one racing toward God at a blitzing speed.
God, seeing the attack, didn’t even bother with it. He simply paused time and slipped through every Intent arrow as though it were the most natural thing in existence. The moment he got close, he attacked without hesitation; there was no need for words. His fist rocketed toward Anthony’s head as they both stood upon the same planet.
Anthony stared at the fist closing in on his face, but just as the attack was about to connect, he simply opened a portal at the last moment. God’s entire arm passed through the portal, the fist now appearing before the Demon King’s face.
But the Demon King remained composed, as though he had already expected it. He simply bent space to his own will as he layered a portal over the portal Anthony had opened before him. God’s hand passed through it again and appeared before Anthony’s face once more.
Anthony didn’t dodge. He simply stacked another portal in front of the two portals before him, but this time, he redirected the attack toward God instead of the Demon King once again.
God, seeing his own fist closing in on his face, immediately raised his second hand and blocked his own attack. But at that moment, Anthony moved, as he had no intention of wasting such an opportunity. He immediately collapsed the six portals, instantly tearing God’s right hand into nothingness, before following it up with a brutal Brazilian kick to the jaw.
But the moment the attack landed, God resisted, refusing to allow the momentum to throw him sideways as he remained determined to pay Anthony back for that last attack.
Faith Energy immediately exploded outward from God’s core like a maddening tsunami, erupting in a wave never seen before. Even reality groaned beneath the sheer magnitude and weight of the Faith Energy.
Anthony’s sky-blue eyes shone as he stared at the golden Faith Energy before him. Even he, who possessed Infinite Mana, had never unleashed such immense reserves before.
The next moment, Anthony felt the Faith Energy slam into his body with point-blank accuracy. But no, his body wasn’t the true target. The Faith Energy poured through the pores of his body as it raced toward three different places, his Mind, Soul, and Mana Core.
Anthony felt his mind shake. He felt God’s Faith Energy attempting to rewire everything about him, trying to turn him into a being loyal only to God. It sought to twist Anthony’s memories of his parents and friends, reshaping them into something entirely different.
Anthony’s Soul was also undergoing the same process at this moment. His Ethereal Soul, which had been colorless, was slowly turning pure gold little by little.
Anthony didn’t panic. A manifestation of himself appeared within his own mind as he stared at the "corruption" unfolding in real time, and without missing a beat, a telepathic wave of force erupted from him and immediately slammed into the Faith Energy with overwhelming ease.
A titanic explosion erupted within Anthony’s mind as everything seemed to turn into a tug-of-war. But the struggle was futile, for this was Anthony’s mind. He couldn’t be so easily controlled and converted like everyone God had dominated before now. And with that, Anthony erased God’s influence from his mind before vanishing and purging the Faith Energy from his Soul and Mana Core as well.
In the real world, Anthony’s senses returned, his sky-blue eyes snapping toward God, who was now suffering an immense backlash from the rejection he had received from Anthony’s Mind, Soul, and Mana Core, making the repercussions even more devastating.
Anthony didn’t hesitate. He immediately went for the kill. His hand shot forward like a blade, and like a hot knife through butter, it tore through God’s chest. His hand gripped the being’s golden, beating heart as it burst outward from God’s back.
God immediately forgot about the backlash he was suffering as he coughed up a litre of golden blood onto Anthony’s face, his eyes widening in pure shock and horror. He hadn’t expected Anthony to be so decisive and immediately go for the killing blow.
But simply taking God’s heart wasn’t enough to kill him. His Vitality was far too immense to be ended by the destruction of a single organ.
Anthony seemed to know this and immediately continued. His other hand tore toward God’s head, and with a deafening boom, his fist met God’s head, though the being barely managed to dodge at the last moment. Even so, the attack blew away half of God’s skull and brain, leaving only half of his face intact.
The Demon King, seemingly noticing the seriousness of the situation, immediately moved at peak speed as he arrived before Anthony and God within an attosecond.
But before he could act, Anthony smirked and immediately vanished from where he stood with God in tow as he manipulated Time and Space with ease.
Without missing a beat, Anthony pulled back as he withdrew his hand from God’s chest before clenching his fist, crushing the heart within his grasp.
God felt the pain, but he didn’t dare scream. His pride wouldn’t allow such mortal displays. He simply stared directly into Anthony’s eyes, but did Anthony care? Definitely not.
God’s regeneration was already active. Half of a new heart had already formed within his open chest, which itself was already beginning to close. Anthony gave him no chance. His hand blurred once more as it immediately tore through God’s stomach, his fingers reaching the Faith Core itself. God’s face instantly twisted.
God immediately tried to manipulate Faith Energy in order to vanish through Time and return to the Divinora Galaxy to hide, but before he could do so, Anthony ripped out the Core with ease, and finally, God let out a scream, his voice ringing out with pure pain and horror.
Anthony smirked as God’s healing came to an abrupt halt.
"In your next life, don’t try conquering a galaxy if you don’t know who resides within it," he stated with a smirk, and with those words, Blue Flames bloomed outward and consumed God whole.
Anthony didn’t know whatever backup plan God had in place, but he was certain there was one. There was simply no way a being on this level wouldn’t possess some means of resurrecting himself. So Anthony made sure to burn him out of Existence once and for all, leaving absolutely nothing behind.
And with that, silence returned to the battlefield. Anthony’s sky-blue eyes slowly turned toward the Demon King, who was now staring at him with a frown upon his face.
Anthony stood with a grin, golden blood plastered across his face, his presence alone causing reality around him to tremble ever so slightly.
It was now time for the Demon King to join God.
It was time for Evil to go and meet Justice.
