Anthony endures a brutal, coordinated assault from both God and the Demon King, sustained damage for the first time in ages, and retaliates with overwhelming force, even manipulating a star into a powerful orb to attack God.

Anthony’s sky-blue eyes cut through the devastation caused by his own attack, his gaze landing on the Demon King, who had managed to block at the very last moment. However, due to the haste of his defensive technique, he hadn’t blocked it completely. His golden body was now torn apart, his entire lower torso having been blown off, while his upper body was battered with injuries as golden blood poured out endlessly. Four of his six golden-ringed eyes had already been erased from his face, leaving behind only ruin and carnage.

Unlike Anthony, who could regenerate forever, God couldn’t exactly regenerate indefinitely.

The people of the Acarnis Galaxy possessed Essence, which they couldn’t actively replenish during battle, but their innate regeneration would automatically heal flesh and bodily injuries as long as the damage wasn’t inflicted upon the head or heart, wounds that would take them out instantly.

But this wasn’t the same for God, as he didn’t possess Essence. He was a being of the Divinora Galaxy and not the Acarnis Galaxy, meaning he had no Essence and could only rely upon the natural durability and regenerative capabilities of his own body.

However, God possessed a regeneration ability. Unlike Anthony’s, which relied on neither Mana nor any form of external energy, God’s own regeneration drank directly from his Faith Energy reserves, and injuries of this scale consumed a tremendous portion of that resource. After all, healing a being of his level, a being capable of unleashing attacks powerful enough to tear away a portion of a lower-level Galaxy, was anything but easy.

And God himself didn’t possess infinite Faith Energy.

So, God had long ago found a way to bypass this limitation. Instead of constantly worrying about his regeneration ability draining his Faith Energy dry, God had connected the Faith Energy of every being who lived and existed within the Divinora Galaxy directly to his own core. Meaning, as long as he was alive, and as long as Angels and countless races of the Divinora Galaxy continued to exist, he could draw upon their Faith Energy without their permission.

And this wasn’t the only method he had created. No, the more people believed in him, worshipped him, and prayed to him, the faster his Faith Energy recovered.

Meaning, he possessed nigh-infinite Faith Energy at this point.

Anthony was about to flicker toward God to finish the battle once and for all, but before he could move, his eyes picked up the Demon King, who was already in motion.

The Demon King held a Star as though it were a mere pebble and immediately threw it toward Anthony with absurd ease. The Star cut through the air, rotating like a colossal shuriken. Anthony immediately moved to meet it, his foot colliding with it head-on, and with a booming sound that shook the surrounding void, he kicked it back toward the Demon King with calm and effortless precision.

As the Star tore back toward the Demon King, the being simply punched it aside, discarding it as though it were nothing. However, Anthony had already covered the distance between himself and the Demon King within that tiny fraction of time during which the Star had obstructed the Demon King’s vision.

Martial Intent cloaked his fist, and without missing a beat, he punched toward the Demon King’s ribs from the side with lethal precision. The Demon King wasn’t surprised by Anthony’s presence. He didn’t need his sense of sight to follow Anthony’s movements. Martial Intent flickered into all four of his hands, and immediately he punched toward Anthony with every one of them.

As a Demon King who had lived and battled for over a billion years, it was simply natural that Demon King Doomrend had already mastered every single type of Intent to an insane degree. Martial Intent was merely one among countless others that he wielded with terrifying expertise.

In a blur, they both vanished from where they stood as God regenerated while the Demon King bought him precious time.

Although the Demon King possessed four hands while Anthony had only two, it didn’t matter. Anthony parried every strike with skillful ease and ridiculous speed. Their bodies appeared atop a comet, and then they vanished once more as the comet collapsed beneath the strain of their movements, unable to endure the forces being unleashed upon it.

Anthony’s body streaked through the air, his eyes locked onto the Demon King who was pursuing him relentlessly. While still midair, the Demon King immediately punched out a million times with his Martial Intent, unleashing a barrage of cosmic air-cannon attacks powered by overwhelming force. The attacks immediately tore toward Anthony with an annihilating wave of oblivion, shredding everything in their path.

Anthony’s feet immediately kissed the surface of a nearby planet as he transitioned into a martial stance. Without missing a beat, he met every attack head-on, his hands shooting forward like bullets from a machine gun. His body became a blur while his form remained flawless and perfect. The sounds of countless explosions echoed in his ears as every attack he destroyed erupted outward into devastating shockwaves that tore through the surrounding galaxy-scape.

As Anthony was blocking the Demon King’s attacks, the Demon King appeared beside him in a flicker. He was capitalising on the precise moment in which Anthony was occupied. Chaos Energy roared through the air as he summoned a Black Hole directly where Anthony stood. To the Demon King, no matter how powerful they had become, a Black Hole remained a Black Hole.

Anthony’s body immediately vanished from where he stood as though he had never existed there in the first place, his voice echoing through the battlefield.

"Did you really think I wouldn’t be able to see through such tactics?" his tone amused.

Anthony didn’t merely vanish. He retaliated instantly. He immediately tapped into the Time and Space elements as he forcefully pushed the Demon King forward through the space-time continuum, throwing the Demon King directly into the Black Hole he had created himself.

The Demon King’s eyes widened in pure horror as his body screamed with the certainty of death, a sensation he hadn’t experienced for countless eons. As his mind, body, and soul cried out in fear, the Demon King immediately acted.

Normally, he would have simply destroyed the Black Hole from the outside, but right now, there was no time to generate an attack capable of accomplishing such a feat.

His Chaos Energy exploded outward with maddening intensity, but because he stood directly before a Black Hole, the singularity simply swallowed up the energy, forcing the Demon King to expend far more Chaos Energy than necessary.

Instantly, a Demon Monarch with the number 99 written across its forehead appeared at a random location somewhere on the battlefield. The moment the Demon Monarch appeared, and before it could even react to its surroundings, it immediately switched positions with the Demon King. The Demon King vanished from where he stood, and in that same instant, the Demon Monarch was swallowed by the Black Hole.

The moment the Demon King reappeared, he released a slow sigh, his eyes snapping toward Anthony, who was already staring back at him with a wide smile. His hands were folded across his chest as he stood there calmly, having maintained the upper hand throughout this entire battle despite facing a two-versus-one confrontation.

Even now, with God rapidly recovering and the Demon King still standing, Anthony looked completely unfazed, as though everything unfolding before him was proceeding exactly according to his expectations.
