MIGHT AS WELL BE OP Chapter 1006: Unique

Previously on MIGHT AS WELL BE OP...
Aura Nova regenerates her severed hands and shifts to her Omniedit ability, facing off against Anthony's Quantum Manipulation in a clash of innate powers. She unleashes a cataclysmic Solar Eruption that warps reality, but Anthony reverses it entirely, erasing the destruction with effortless control. Aura Nova counters with volcanic eruptions from below and above, forcing Anthony to dodge before he fires a devastating Energy Blast, which she deflects using a Spatial Wall Frame that he then shatters with a single punch. Anthony's subsequent Black Hole assault fractures into harmless butterflies under her command, and her horde of clones attempts to bind him with suppression whips, only to be obliterated by his Particle Disruption. As the shockwave hurls her back, their gazes lock across the ravaged plane, battle intent reaching its zenith.

Anthony struck before Aura Nova had a chance to respond, a subtle grin forming serenely on his features as if he was just starting a light conversation instead of unleashing total destruction.

Under his directive, the particles in the isolated realm quivered fiercely, quaking under tremendous power and tension. They smashed together in quick bursts, squeezing and purifying as they stretched into brilliant white beams of packed quantum energy, counting thousands in total.

Next, with bursting momentum and a thunderous roar echoing across the realm, they blasted ahead, every beam surging toward Aura Nova without any pause.

Aura Nova reacted swiftly. She blurred out of sight from her spot, as one Particle Ray ripped savagely through the area she'd vacated, annihilating it completely. Yet as soon as she rematerialized in a new location, another Particle Ray appeared next to her at horrifying velocity. She blinked away once more right away, determined not to be trapped.

On this occasion, she didn't stay put after reemerging. She rocketed ahead amid the clouds, cutting through the heavens like a projectile while evading beam after beam in frantic sequence. The atmosphere appeared to splinter beneath the unyielding assault. She cast a quick look behind, spotting nothing but infinite trails of Particle Rays chasing her without end, altering their paths with eerie accuracy even against her superior velocity.

She swiftly mimicked the technique Anthony had employed before to cancel her strike. Her mana surged wildly and burst forth as she etched her intentions and resolve straight onto the fabric of existence, overwriting its foundation with commanding power.

Yet right after, the Particle Rays bore down on her anyway.

A devastating blast ignited as the beams shredded her physique ruthlessly. Her body hurtled back across the firmament. Her arms were vaporized from the shoulders down, her abdomen burst open ferociously, half her visage ripped off, and a section of her midsection mangled to bits. The force was total and merciless.

With hurtling speed, she crashed into the earth from on high. The smash ripped a huge chasm, like the jaws of a bottomless pit had been etched into being. Clouds of dirt and rubble billowed upward in a massive column, veiling all in its path.

Agony tore through every fiber of Aura Nova's being. She clenched her jaw and bore it, her thoughts whirling desperately to figure out why her Code Replication Command, channeled via her Omniedit innate skill, had not worked.

Unbeknownst to her, Anthony’s Quantum Manipulation earned its unique label for good cause. It wasn't just uncommon; it was utterly singular. No technique or principle could duplicate, mimic, or emulate it. Even if Lucian managed to copy parts of Anthony’s abilities, Quantum Manipulation would always stay unattainable.

Her mana burst out once more in a fierce wave. Within a mere split second, her form rebuilt itself perfectly. While her natural healing powers were impressive, they fell short for a clash this intense. So, she altered her very essence directly, returning to flawless condition in an instant.

Even before she could regain her footing, a sound resonated in her ears and her psyche alike.

The voice belonged to Anthony.

Aura Nova's instincts blared alarms, the area around her splintering like fragile ice under crushing stress. Then it exploded outward in a savage blast. Before she could blink away or trigger a new shield, her environment was stripped bare.

She found herself inside the Void. Boundless shadows and suffocating insanity extended forever in every direction. No firmament, no terrain, no direction existed—only devouring nothingness. Moments later, the Void started closing in on her actively.

Her life essence was drained savagely, like unseen teeth gnawing chunks from her being. Her mana flowed out from her center directly. Her flesh dimmed in luster. Strands of her azure locks lightened faintly as her vitality waned. Murmuring echoes assailed her hearing and thoughts, sly and unyielding, aiming to consume her not just bodily but to shatter her spirit.

Yet Aura Nova pushed back. Stubbornness defined her above all else.

Her mana flared out boldly, clashing against the Void’s crushing weight. But the Void swallowed it up at once. It engulfed all without bias. Even so, she held firm. She just pumped out more mana, flooding the emptiness with raw volume.

As soon as she triggered the order, the Void appeared to hesitate. It shook intensely from inside, like tainted by an alien force. Fissures of warping spread across the gloom. Then existence caved in and flared out at the same time. The Void crumbled beneath the overwhelming revision.

Instantly after, she was ejected, spewed out forcefully from the Void, materializing back on the topmost level of the isolated realm.

The second she reemerged, Anthony offered no moment to recover. He gave her no time to ponder. He gave her no time to balance. He launched the following strike without delay, as if he took pleasure in driving her into constant evasion.

On his order, the heavens overhead seized in fury.

Scarlet lightning sparked to life, its power choking and invincible. Each bolt fused together at unthinkable pace, condensing and merging to shape the enormous form of a flightless serpent made purely of destructive quantum might.

As Aura Nova fully rematerialized, it plunged down.

The serpent ripped earthward like celestial retribution from above. Reality splintered behind it. Gales howled madly. Illumination warped and dispersed as the onslaught etched its route with doomsday supremacy.

Nothing but scarlet filled Aura Nova’s cerulean gaze. Even so, she wouldn’t stand idle.

Essence, dimension, and abyss yielded to her command. A gigantic Void Portal ripped wide in front of her, a twisting maelstrom of hungering shadows. The very second the crimson serpent dove, it slammed into the gateway with crushing mass. The gateway quaked fiercely from the pressure, its borders cracking as if about to shatter.

Still, Aura Nova wouldn’t give in. Her gaze blazed with unwavering resolve as she bolstered the framework via pure intent and mastery.

Then existence wavered, another identical portal split open right in front of Anthony. Out of it, the matching crimson flightless serpent burst forth at close quarters, its ruinous bulk bearing down on him with the same rage.

A different foe could have been surprised by the nearness. At that distance, even responding verged on the unattainable.

But Anthony was different.

He just grinned, slipping fluidly into his subsequent directive with smooth poise and simplicity.

Under his directive, the fabric of space complied. In a flash, he and Aura Nova swapped places. Aura Nova’s eyes bulged in astonishment once more as her environment flipped. Before she could shift to a fresh protective order, the crimson flightless serpent ripped through her body with ruinous power.

The whole isolated realm lit up in scarlet, like that one hue had wiped out every other from reality. The collision devoured all in view, and the skies themselves appeared to wail under the burden of Anthony’s malevolent onslaught.
