Mu Fan arrives at the White Armor Tribe village with Nuonuo, where they are warmly welcomed by the children and tribe members. Nuonuo shares a tender moment with Mu Fan, expressing her happiness. Meanwhile, Isaiah reveals to Mu Fan that the tribe must migrate due to an impending threat. Later, warriors encounter seven giant rhinoceroses, but realize the riders are missing. One warrior is tragically trampled as the rhinoceroses unexpectedly attack.

A bone-chilling killing intent sent shivers down the spines of the three remaining spear-wielding warriors. The one who had narrowly escaped turned his head sharply, only for his face to be instantly splattered with blood and mud. In his fading vision, a shadowy figure hurtled towards him.

"Damn beast..."

Before the thought could even fully form in his mind, a sharp crack echoed. The warrior's hastily prepared spear buckled at a right angle, an immense force traveling through the bent weapon and into his ribcage. With a loud thud, he was sent hurtling backward.

Who knew a rhino could possess such velocity? It followed up with a tail whip, sending the spear-wielding warrior even further away.

"Moo!" The lead rhino, appearing to be the commander, let out another roar. The remaining six rhinos erupted into a frenzy, their hooves striking the ground like a relentless downpour.

At this moment, the earth trembled with a thunderous roar, and cries of agony pierced the sky. The spear-wielders from the Red Stone Tribe finally comprehended the true terror of facing the Rock Armor Rhinoceros head-on!

"Quick... fire..."

With a puff, a massive shadow descended from above, crushing the last gasping spear-wielder directly beneath it.

A gentle breeze swept across the vast grassland, carrying away the scent of blood from the earth.

"Huff... huff..." The rhinos exchanged uneasy glances, lifting their heads to peer at the distant sky. Unseen until this moment, at the hazy edges of their perception, the silhouette of a colossal dragon quietly materialized. Its outstretched wings seemed vast enough to eclipse the stars in the eyes of the great rhinos, complemented by its brilliantly shining armor.

It was a spectacle that instilled a primal fear within their hearts.

The dragon's form streaked across the sky, completing half a circle before soaring away towards the distance.

"Aww~~" Evil Wing let out a triumphant howl, leisurely heading towards the previously fallen crater. It felt an odd sense of dominion, as if it were the king of this domain; a dragon's life, it mused, could indeed be quite fulfilling.

Returning to report to its master's Mechanical Knight, and earning more favor from the formidable Shura, this was its strategy for ensuring its future survival.

Witnessing the giant dragon's ultimate retreat, the rhinos collectively exhaled a sigh of relief. All this time, being herded at a steady pace by that dragon had nearly driven them to madness with fear.

Having trampled the spear-wielders to death, the rhinos seemed to realize their inability to return to the Red Stone Tribe. They twisted their massive bodies and lightly trotted towards the deeper parts of the grassland.

First, the entire Red Stone Mission was eliminated by Mu Fan and the allied White Armor Clan. Then, these Red Stone Sentinels were annihilated by the uprising of the Rock Armor Giant Rhinoceros. These successive destructions completely severed the Red Stone Tribe's intelligence network.

This also granted the White Armor Tribe a precious period of respite!

...

...

White Armor Tribe.

Mu Fan and Wang Nuonuo looked on at Isaiah, who appeared to have aged a decade before them. This leader of the White Armor Clan, always a paragon of strength, now wore an expression etched with deep sorrow.

"On this grassland, there are hundreds of known tribes, both large and small. For the White Armor Tribe, with fewer than two thousand souls, to have endured on this fertile land until today is no small feat."

"The scale of this Beast Tide is noticeably greater, and its occurrence over the past year has been accelerating. If we remain confined to this bottleneck, the number of wounded and deceased White Armor warriors will only escalate, a burden our tribe... absolutely cannot bear."

"Using Teacher Wang from the Red Stone Tribe as their pretext is merely an excuse. Their true desire is the naturally gifted warriors of our White Armor Clan... Therefore, if we refuse to relocate, we must remain vigilant against the ever-present Beast Tide and simultaneously defend against assaults from the Red Stone Clan."

"They are like a venomous serpent; once they coil around us, they will not relent until our very lifeblood is drained dry."

"The warriors of the White Armor Clan do not fear death, but we dread the prospect of our loved ones becoming slaves to our enemies in the future."

Isaiah had previously shared these sentiments only with Alva. Seeing the kind, outsider guests, Mu Fan and Nuonuo, who had offered immense help but were not of the tribe, he finally felt free to speak his heart without reservation.

"My lord..."

Reluctance flickered in Nuonuo's eyes. Since being rescued by these amicable White Armor people, her interactions over these past days had forged a deep bond with this simple and kind community. They had taught her the ways of combat and how to face life's adversities with composure.

Upon hearing this news, Nuonuo's heart naturally felt a multitude of hesitations. However, Mu Fan was already by her side, and there was no means for her to depart from him. Her inherently kind disposition constantly compelled her to offer aid to these amiable tribespeople, thus at this juncture, Nuonuo's eyes were suffused with a shade of sorrow.

Mu Fan listened with unwavering calm as Isaiah concluded his account. Then, he perceived Nuonuo's soft call. Slowly, he lifted his gaze, looked down with affection upon the young girl's uplifted face, and a subtle smile graced his lips. He gently extended his right hand, caressing her cheek.

As his rough palm brushed across her face, their young gazes met. Nuonuo observed Mu Fan giving a slight blink. The steadfastness within his eyes finally served to pacify her anxious heart, and a brilliant smile bloomed on her countenance as she vigorously nodded.

"Mm."

All decisions were now entrusted to Mu Fan.

"Clan Leader Isaiah..."

After a moment of composing his thoughts, Mu Fan's gaze lifted, his eyes serene as he finally spoke.

"You rescued Nuonuo. Perhaps to you, it was a simple matter."

"But to me, it is a kindness I would repay with my very life."

His calm voice resonated softly within the tent, imbued with a stirring power!

Nuonuo felt her heart momentarily falter. She had, in truth, substantially underestimated her significance in Mu Fan's affections.

The instant Mu Fan uttered those words, "repay with my life," knowing his immutable character, her heart felt as though it were tightly bound, causing her entire frame to subtly tremble. Mu Fan's manner was always... resolutely upheld!

Furthermore, the more placidly he spoke, the more it signified the depth of his contemplation and the supreme importance he assigned to those pronouncements.

Even Isaiah was touched by this declaration. He knitted his brows, his gaze fixed upon the tall, composed young man before him.

"Brother Mu, what is it you wish to convey? The White Armor Tribe does not seek recompense from its allies! Miss Nuonuo is a blessing bestowed upon us by the heavens. I implore you, do not utter words that cause me further disquiet."

Isaiah gestured broadly with his hand, unequivocally stating his position.

Sincerity in speech.

He had not stooped to employing pathos to garner sympathy.

"If the matter concerns merely the Beast Tide and the Red Stone Tribe..."

Mu Fan's bright eyes remained unruffled. He observed the sturdy Isaiah, his voice unhurried, yet it struck Isaiah's ears like a clap of thunder!

"Then permit me to remain and assist you in eradicating these lurking dangers."

"Your benevolence towards me, Mu Fan, surpasses the immensity of the celestial stars."

Mu Fan inclined his head slightly, and within his voice lay an... indomitable resolve!
