Archibald, a Mechanical Master, confronts forces identifying themselves as the Shadow Corps. He dismisses the significance of the Ghost King's defeat, focusing instead on his own fallen defenses. A pilot named Cornelles reveals intense hatred for a "Mechanical Knight" that previously devastated their forces and demands reinforcements to capture the arriving fleet. Mu Fan, assessing the situation, prioritizes fighting the Zeg over personal disputes. The incoming fleet, led by Archibald's unique Mecha, prepares for a direct collision with the Forest Domain Fleet.

Archibald gracefully lifted his right hand.

The mecha, adorned with scorched earth paint, mirrored his movement, its fingers splayed and palm facing outward.

Simultaneously, erratic readings surged across the dashboards of every warship in the fleet, causing a temporary disruption in all optical computer systems.

“Is Lord Archibald about to unleash that technique?”

Just as the thought was voiced, Archibald’s deep voice echoed, “Weapon release commencing. Prepare to… strike with me.”

Upon hearing this command, the entire army’s morale surged to unprecedented heights.

Officers and soldiers alike, their faces flushed with fervor, adjusted their stances.

With knees slightly bent, the mecha ascended from the ship’s deck into the heavens. Its ascent was neither rushed nor slow, exuding an aura of formidable presence and momentum.

As the mecha rose, threads of yellow, scorched lightning began to materialize in the void of space, tracing the path of its ascent through the silent, dark cosmos.

Moreover, as the distance grew, these lightning threads intensified, coalescing.

Soon, the dense lightning swirling behind the mecha birthed uncontrollable vortices, forming a vertical plane. These vortices ranged from fifty meters in diameter to as large as one hundred meters, with visible spatial distortions appearing along their perimeters.

Archibald’s outstretched palm gently gestured towards the dense, green torrent of energy beams.

His palm naturally pushed forward.

A low hum filled the cockpit, akin to a gentle breeze. The more than twenty vortices, now seemingly under command, began to merge sequentially into the doomsday-hued, scorched earth mecha.

As the scorched yellow vortices integrated, the mecha’s mottled paint grew brighter and more dazzling.

At this critical moment, the tide of green energy beams was rapidly approaching.

It was important to recall that Shura had countered this direct assault with an Epoch King Halberd, a weapon capable of challenging an Emperor Body mecha!

What, then, was this mecha’s counter?

Within Archibald’s seasoned eyes, no flicker of emotion betrayed his thoughts.

He appeared utterly composed.

However, at this precise instant, a series of yellow halos materialized, enveloping his right arm within the cockpit…

They converged upon his palm!

A rustling sound filled the cockpit.

All the vortices merged into the mecha simultaneously, and all the scorched yellow ring-shaped lightning coalesced into the right palm at the same time.

A point of intensely bright yellow light appeared at the center of the palm, and in an instant…

It detonated!

A visible spherical shockwave radiated outwards in all directions. In less than a thousandth of a second, this shockwave had expanded to the size of an asteroid.

A colossal sphere, faintly luminous with a scorched yellow hue, materialized in space, its diameter exceeding 10,000 meters.

[Force Field – All Magnetism]!

At this juncture, the vast emerald-green energy flow fiercely collided before the fleet?

Mu Fan’s brow twitched subtly.

For the first time, a hint of genuine surprise flickered in his eyes.

Because, before his very eyes, the colossal green energy beam, which had expanded to a diameter of over a thousand meters, met the palm of the scorched earth painted mecha…

And inexplicably solidified within that immense yellow sphere!

Utterly defying logic, the energy beams were completely immobilized. Mu Fan could even discern the beams transforming into fist-sized green points of light as they solidified.

“Trapped Light Flow? Light Flow Particle traction technology? Currently, only black holes possess such capabilities…” Black’s voice murmured in Mu Fan’s ear, and in the next moment, he exclaimed with excitement, “I remember now! I know what that mecha is, Mu Fan!”

Before Mu Fan could even inquire, Black rapidly explained into his ear:

“The Twelve Demon Gods are not an exhaustive list of all major figures! Among them, the Federation deliberately kept secret two strategic-level mechas that seldom make an appearance!”

“[Catastrophe] and [Storm]! These two SSS-level Great Demon Gods were covertly developed by the Federation to influence the outcome of large-scale warfare!”

“They are purportedly the most formidable legion combat mechas known throughout this universe.”

“Based on the force field solidification just displayed and that characteristic scorched earth paint, I’ve unearthed a semi-archived report from a decade ago within the database! It was discovered during the prior invasion of Capital Star, within discarded meeting notes. Cross-referencing this information, this mecha must be the strategically vital [Catastrophe], a unit rarely revealed to the world!”

“Its capabilities, recorded only once in fragmented historical records, include the ability to solidify all incoming attacks using an ultra-giant force field!”

“This universe’s technology truly leaves this lord increasingly bewildered. Clearly, their civilian and warship tech appear ordinary, yet their mecha scientific research reaches unimaginable heights, even surpassing the Yake Empire.”

“Could it be due to this universe’s abundant production of exceptionally rare ruins?”

Amidst Black’s perplexed musings, an idea it had never entertained before surfaced.

“Is there any other information?” Mu Fan’s voice emerged softly. Black suddenly fell silent, responding with slight embarrassment, “The Federation’s upper echelons rarely place extremely classified information online… This mecha is far too mysterious, and despite a wealth of information, only the names of two mechas were yielded.”

[That’s indeed an unexpectedly formidable adversary…]

Mu Fan thought to himself calmly. Suddenly, a device in his temple pulsed lightly, and his body sharply shifted to the side.

Where Shura had been standing, a bone sword, as pale as death, fiercely slashed down, yet it only carved a distorted figure in half before slowly vanishing.

The Bone-faced Insect Beast, having attempted an ambush and striking only an afterimage, flapped its wings sharply, blurring to a hundred meters away with extreme speed.

Its blood-red vertical pupils, gleaming with a cruel sheen, darted swiftly to the left, then to the right!

Nothing.

Still nothing!

No…!

“Are you searching for me?”

A soft sigh echoed within the cockpit. Mu Fan’s eyes, possessing an inconceivable calm, gazed at the towering seventy-meter-tall colossal figure, its body frozen in a bent-arm pose, retracting its force.

Even within the vacuum of space, as Mu Fan spoke inside the cockpit, the Bone-faced Insect Beast abruptly turned back!

What appeared in its view was that black mecha, radiating the stunning beauty of ferocity and slaughter!

However, it had turned back a fraction too late.

Half of a burning red lotus vine extended along its arm, channeling into that punching fist.

Shura’s full-force punch—

Crushed forward!

The Bone-faced Insect Beast scarcely had time to cross its arms defensively before the fist landed heavily upon its body.

A crimson explosive stream, exceeding 500 meters, erupted outward!

The center where the Bone-faced Insect Beast’s crossed arms met was struck, forming a massive depression, and then…

It was sent flying straight towards that…

[Catastrophe] Mecha!

This was a spur-of-the-moment decision by Mu Fan.

Since Black couldn't furnish data on this strategic-level Great Demon God, he had to test it himself.

The howling Bone-faced Insect Beast transformed into a hurtling meteor, aimed directly at the towering, scorched-earth mecha!
