Mated to the Triplet Alphas Chapter 140: Stolen Moments
Previously on Mated to the Triplet Alphas...
“On your honeymoon?” Leo spluttered, throwing an astonished glance my way before turning his attention back to the triplets. “Are you quite certain that—”
“Should you prefer not to attend, that would be even more agreeable,” Levi interjected with a teasing grin.
“I shall be there,” Leo immediately responded, his gaze narrowing at Levi. “It falls upon someone to ensure she receives occasional respite from the three of you.”
Liam and I exchanged knowing smiles. The rivalry between Leo and the triplets had mellowed into a form of fraternal banter, though all of them, particularly Leo and Levi, would vehemently deny it if questioned.
“I eagerly anticipate our return to the beach house,” I declared, my thoughts drifting to the private island sanctuary where the triplets had popped the question. The vivid recollection of them dropping to one knee in perfect synchronicity, each holding out a magnificent ring, still sent my heart into a flutter.
“Our inaugural night there as husband and wife,” Liam murmured softly beside my ear. “As your officially acknowledged mates.”
A delightful tremor coursed through me at his declaration. While we had indeed marked each other some time ago, there was an undeniable distinction to being formally wedded before our entire pack.
“Your luggage has been prepared,” Lucas announced, his hand resting possessively on my hip. “We can depart the moment you give the word.”
“Following the first dance,” I decided. “I would not wish to miss that occasion.”
As if summoned, the music subtly shifted to a slow, romantic cadence. Lucas gracefully guided me to the dance floor's center, his brothers and Leo observing from the periphery with identical, intense expressions that quickened my pulse.
Lucas’s strong arms encircled my waist, drawing me flush against his solid frame as we began to glide to the melody. His emerald eyes captivated mine, brimming with unspoken promises that ignited a warmth deep within me.
“You are utterly magnificent,” he breathed, his thumb drawing delicate circles upon my lower back. “I have valiantly resisted the impulse to spirit you away throughout the entire day.”
I gazed up at him with a smile, still finding it somewhat surreal that this commanding, handsome man was truly mine. “We have eternity now.”
“Eternity will scarcely suffice,” he countered, gently brushing his lips against my forehead.
As the song gracefully transitioned into another tender tune, Liam stepped forward, lightly tapping his brother’s shoulder. “My turn with our bride.”
Lucas, with evident reluctance, released me, bestowing a swift kiss upon my lips before placing my hand into Liam’s.
Liam’s dancing proved distinct—more fluid, more at ease. Where Lucas led with an authoritative exactitude, Liam guided with a tender warmth. He drew me closer, his familiar, comforting scent enveloping me.
“Content, Mrs. Sullivan?” he inquired, his smile radiating a brilliance that rivaled the surrounding fairy lights.
“Ecstatically so,” I confessed, resting my head against his chest. I could feel the steady rhythm of his heart beneath my ear.
“Excellent,” he murmured into my hair. “For ensuring your happiness is my sole aspiration for the remainder of my days.”
I looked up at him, deeply moved by the sincerity resonating in his voice. Liam had always been the most transparent with his affections, and I could perceive the full extent of his adoration mirrored in his gaze.
The song concluded far too quickly, and I felt a gentle tap upon my shoulder. Turning, I found Levi already on his feet, his hand extended invitingly toward me.
“Saving the best for last,” he quipped with a wink, drawing me from Liam’s embrace as a slightly more spirited melody commenced.
Levi’s vivacity was utterly contagious as he guided me across the floor with an unexpected elegance. For someone possessing such restless energy, he moved with remarkable dexterity, incorporating playful spins that elicited peals of laughter from me.
“I have been anticipating this entire day to have you to myself,” he whispered, his lips grazing my ear. His hand, which had been appropriately positioned on my back, began to slide lower, dangerously approaching the curve of my hip.
“Levi,” I admonished gently, feeling a blush creep onto my cheeks. “We are in full view of everyone.”
“And so?” His hand provided a subtle squeeze, eliciting a soft gasp from me. “You are now my wife. I am permitted to touch my wife.”
I cast a discreet glance around, but fortunately, no one seemed particularly attentive to our movements. Most of the guests were absorbed in their own conversations or dances.
“You are utterly incorrigible,” I whispered, though the words lacked any genuine reprimand.
“Incorrigibly enamored with you,” he retorted, his hand continuing its adventurous exploration. “I can hardly contain my anticipation for our honeymoon. In truth, I question if I can even delay gratification until then.”
His fingertips traced intricate patterns along my spine, each contact sending delightful shivers of desire through my entire being. As his hand lowered once more, I instinctively bit my lip to stifle a nascent whimper.
“Levi, I implore you,” I whispered. “Not here.”
His eyes darkened with nascent desire as he leaned in, his breath warm against my skin. “Then let us seek a more secluded locale.”
I surveyed the reception area discreetly. Lucas was engrossed in a discussion with Alpha Joseph. Liam was dancing with Sophia and Callum, the trio sharing a hearty laugh over a shared jest. Leo stood by the bar, nursing a drink with his usual air of detached boredom.
“No one will notice our brief absence,” Levi assured me in a low whisper, his breath sending a warm caress against my neck. “What say you, my dear wife?”
The way he uttered the word “wife” sent an undeniable thrill through me. Meeting his playfully mischievous green gaze, I found myself nodding in agreement.
“Only for a few moments,” I conceded.
Levi’s face beamed with victory. My hand was taken, and we detached ourselves from the lively dance floor, making our way with feigned casualness towards the packhouse. The moment we were beyond the sightline of the reception, Levi’s restraint vanished. He pushed me against the cold side of the building, his mouth instantly claiming mine in a kiss filled with fierce longing.
“Damn, I’ve been aching to do this all day,” he growled against my lips. “You look absolutely stunning in this gown, but my mind is consumed with the thought of removing it from you.”
His hands intimately explored my form, mapping the curves concealed beneath swathes of pristine white fabric. I surrendered to his touch, my own burgeoning desire escalating rapidly.
“Let’s head inside,” I managed to breathe out, already with fumbling fingers working on his tie.
We practically tumbled through the packhouse entrance before Levi was pulling me into another kiss, this one imbued with even greater urgency. His hands found the zipper hidden at the back of my dress, drawing it down with deliberate slowness while I worked at the buttons of his shirt.
“I love you,” he murmured against the sensitive skin of my neck, peppering hot kisses down my throat. “So completely, Hazel.”
“I love you too,” I gasped as his teeth lightly scraped against my collarbone.
We stumbled blindly down the corridor towards our chambers, shedding remnants of our attire—his jacket discarded on the floor, my veil left dangling from a doorknob, his tie loosely draped over a chair. By the time we reached our bedroom door, Levi’s shirt lay fully unbuttoned, revealing his powerfully built chest, and my dress was precariously held by my shoulders.
Once inside, Levi slammed the door shut and pinned me against it. His hands slid upward beneath my dress, lifting it past my thighs as his mouth rediscovered mine. A soft moan escaped into his kiss, my fingers finding their way into his hair.
“Been anticipating this moment all day,” he rumbled, cupping my backside and lifting me. I instinctively wrapped my legs around his waist, acutely aware of his pressing arousal through his trousers. “Watching you walk down that aisle. Knowing you are irrevocably ours. Forever.”
He carried me the short distance to the bed, laying me down with deliberate gentleness before covering my body with his own massive frame. My dress inconveniently bunched around my waist as his hands explored the newly exposed expanse of skin.
“You are exquisite,” he breathed, his eyes dark pools of raw need as they surveyed me clad only in my wedding lingerie. “My mate. My wife.”
His fingertips traced the delicate edge of my lace-trimmed panties, a tantalizing prelude that stopped just short of entering. I arched instinctively toward his touch, my body silently pleading for more.
“Tell me what you desire,” Levi commanded, his voice a low, gravelly rasp thick with longing.
“You,” I whispered. “Please, Levi.”
That was all the encouragement he needed. His fingers slipped under the lace, finding me exquisitely ready. A sharp gasp escaped me at the contact, my hips involuntarily rising to meet his skillful ministrations.
“Already so wet for me,” he groaned, his expertly moving fingers igniting a fire that made me pant his name. “I adore your immediate response.”
My hands reached for his belt, desperate to feel the entirety of him against me. Levi assisted, swiftly unfastening his trousers and pushing them down his hips. Precisely as he positioned himself between my thighs, the bedroom door swung open with a creak.
“Starting without me?” Liam’s voice, laced with amusement, echoed from the doorway. “I’m rather offended. Why wasn’t I included in this intimate gathering?”
