Martial Peak Chapter 6085, He Will Come To Us

Lei Ao's exclamation after failing to withstand the bath water led Yang Ji to take charge of the situation. Yang Ji challenged Lei Ao's claims of mastery in the Dao of Space, revealing Lei Ao's simultaneous cultivation of both Space and Time Principles, shaking Lei Ao's confidence. In a bid to forge a friendship, Yang Ji imparted a "gift" of his Space and Time Principle experiences directly into Lei Ao's mind, leaving Lei Ao's soul trapped in an endless mentalscape.

“Hey, what’s going on?” Yang Ji suddenly materialized beside Yang Xu, who was suspended in the sky, his gaze fixed intently on a certain figure below.

The individual in question appeared to be paying attention in class. However, as he was seated near the window, he would occasionally glance toward the heavens and offer a smile. In fact, he even had the audacity to wave his hand whenever the instructor’s back was turned.

Realizing how bizarre this situation was, one couldn't help but feel a shiver down their spine.

“I’ve located him,” Yang Xu remarked, her eyes narrowing. “He is completely unscathed. He’s actually smiling and waving at us right now. How could a mere cultivator in the Qi Condensation stage possibly manage that?”

Yang Xu then shifted her gaze toward her brother, questioning him with genuine curiosity rather than any intent to blame. “Furthermore, why did you draw so much of my Qi just a moment ago? I actually felt a bit depleted.”

“Oh, that. I was actually transmitting some of my insights regarding the Dao of Space and the Dao of Time to Lei Ao. Think about it—he is the Young Master of the Red Clouds Cave Heaven. I provided him with something valuable to forge a connection with their Sect,” Yang Ji explained, spreading his arms as if he had devised a masterstroke. “Once he wakes up, his gratitude toward us will be so immense that we might be invited to visit. I’ve heard that the Red Clouds Cave Heaven is one of the premier Sects for auctions. We could surely acquire a Secret Realm key or a treasure map from them.”

Hearing this, Yang Xu’s eyes lit up. “Ah. That means we could go on even more adventures.”

“Exactly.” Yang Ji beamed, looking like he had just struck gold. “Besides, since he’s currently occupied with absorbing the Daos from my experience, my work for the day is done. Since we have no classes scheduled, I suppose we are free to do as we please.”

Yang Xu nodded in agreement, then gestured toward the figure by the window. “In that case, shouldn't we deal with him?”

Yang Ji looked back at the figure and replied, “If we intend to capture him, we should wait until his class concludes. It would be problematic to involve innocent bystanders.”

Yang Xu concurred. At that moment, however, the Heavenly Demon Queen interjected, “There is no need for you to take any action at all. That deceitful, shameless scoundrel will soon be forced by circumstances to present himself before the two of you.”

“Oh? Did you do something?” Yang Ji asked, intrigued. It appeared the Heavenly Demon Queen held quite a grudge against the man for framing her earlier.

“A minor adjustment, nothing more. I have introduced subtle alterations to the Grand Array protecting this territory. These changes are designed to be so intolerable for him to fix that a direct confrontation becomes his only choice. Therefore, do not trouble yourselves with facing him now. He will come to you instead,” the Heavenly Demon Queen stated with an air of certainty.

This raised the question of when she had found the time to make such modifications. Since she had only been away from them for a single night, it implied she had planned this from the start and executed everything in that short window.

Realizing the scale of her efficiency, Yang Ji couldn't help but offer praise. “Wow. To think you saw through him so early on.”

*Hmph.* The Heavenly Demon Queen let out a snort that seemed to say ‘obviously.’ However, the faint smile playing on her small face betrayed the distant, aloof facade she attempted to maintain.

“Well, I suppose we don’t need to bother with him for now,” Yang Ji said, turning back to Yang Xu.

Yang Xu shrugged. “That seems to be the case. We know he’s in Sword Class 7, so we can find him whenever we want. As for his name, it appears he goes by Wu Lun.”

“Wu Lun? Let’s see.” Yang Ji swept his Divine Sense across the area and immediately spotted the characters ‘无轮’ engraved on the Identity Plate hanging from the boy's waist.

“What an odd name,” Yang Ji remarked.

“It is. But since we aren't acting yet, Brother, what should we do next?” Yang Xu asked, naturally deferring to his judgment.

“We should return to our quarters and attempt to connect Space without relying on the Void,” Yang Ji replied without hesitation.

Yang Xu naturally agreed at once. She wanted nothing more than to link her room to her brother’s. Eager to begin, she immediately used her abilities to teleport them back to the dormitory.

Observing his sister’s excitement, Yang Ji could only shrug and shake his head.

Following her lead, he entered his own room to resume his Cultivation. However, before he could begin, the Heavenly Demon Queen manifested and left his body.

“Where are you headed?” Yang Ji couldn't help but ask. She gave him a short, blunt reply. “Out.”

Since Yang Ji had no reason to restrain her—and doubted she would listen even if he tried—he simply nodded. He then added, “In that case, could you help by transporting my classmates back to their rooms after class ends?”

“Why should your responsibilities fall upon my shoulders? This is clearly your own duty and concern. I would advise you against the unsightly habit of avoiding your obligations by pushing them onto others.”

“Well, for one, we are in this mess because of you—because I tried to assist you. I haven’t complained much, but I’m certain my sister feels some resentment about it. Secondly, don’t you want us to concentrate on cultivating the True Dao of Space you mentioned? These trivial tasks only consume our time and focus. Since you’re going out anyway, why not lend a hand?” Yang Ji spoke plainly.

Recognizing the truth in his words, the Heavenly Demon Queen reluctantly gave in. Instead of saying anything further, she simply departed.

Nevertheless, Yang Ji could sense her affirmation. Perhaps it was due to their unique connection or simply because he had grown accustomed to her mannerisms. Regardless, he had the answer he needed and turned his full attention toward perceiving the Dao of Space.

Unbeknownst to him, the Heavenly Demon Queen did more than just agree to help. After exiting his room, she modified the Array outside, isolating his living space from the world. Rather than weakening the barrier, she reinforced it to the point where only she or the twins could possibly breach it.

Since she was going out of her way to ‘help’ him, she decided to ensure he could focus entirely without any outside interference.

While it might have seemed like a vindictive move, it was actually because Yang Ji truly required uninterrupted time to grasp this facet of the Dao of Space. Even if it wasn't the full True Dao of Space, comprehending such details was no simple feat. Having to stop every day to ferry children back and forth would only hinder his progress.

Thus, the Heavenly Demon Queen agreed to assist. More than that, she took steps to ensure Yang Ji would not leave his room until his comprehension of this aspect of the Dao of Space was complete.

Naturally, her next stop was Yang Xu’s room to perform the same task.

Once everything was settled there, she intended to fulfill her original goal: paying a visit to that young girl, Yang Ling.

“Alright, class is dismissed,” Li Wu Yi announced. The students all rose to offer their thanks for the lesson, but before they could speak, every one of them was ruthlessly transported out of the room. The only thing Li Wu Yi was left with was a sudden, ringing silence.

“…” Witnessing this abrupt shift and feeling the heavy, familiar Space Principles distorting the air, he could only let out a long sigh.

A moment later, a message was transmitted directly to his Token. After reading the contents, he sighed once more.

He truly felt as though he were aging prematurely, despite being in his physical prime and having no children of his own.

He couldn't help but wonder—if he ever had a child, would they be as difficult to manage as those two?
