Martial Arts Genius with Proficiency System Chapter 1030 - 460: The Second Void Spirit Invasion, The Final Cataclysm Will Be Triggered by Me!
Previously on Martial Arts Genius with Proficiency System...
Observing the scene, the true essence of these minuscule Star Mists before his very eyes was, in fact, a Star River, each one a distinct world.
And that immense, towering expanse, whose outline he could only vaguely discern, must be the realm inhabited by the Daluo, the very domain where the Human Race originally resided.
Only a heaven and earth of such magnitude, a world of that caliber, could possibly birth such peerlessly brilliant Daluo, and subsequently... such terrifying Unauspicious beings...
This vast expanse of reality appears to be the terminus of all Star Rivers, simultaneously serving as the genesis for the All Realms and myriad heavens; all Dao find their nourishment within this singular domain, and likewise, the Unauspicious beings, within this very earth... sit and consume the heavens!!
The corrupted Dao emanating from the Unauspicious has already begun its insidious creep through these nascent Star Rivers; one could surmise that the fate of these Star Rivers has long been sealed by Their hands.
A small fraction of the Star Mist, however, is shielded by intricately woven golden-bright lines forming an external, sacred barrier of protection.
While the Dao and laws within these shielded Star Mists remain untainted, they have been severed from their source by this barrier. Nevertheless, the conclusion of the Dao has already been irrevocably altered; even if the Great Dao is forcibly preserved, it will inevitably diminish in its original potency over the relentless march of time.
Although this process unfolds over an exceedingly long duration, a point will eventually be reached where these protected Star Rivers succumb to decay, collapsing due to the degradation of their foundational Dao.
This is the essence of Dao: it encompasses all rules, all laws; every entity and being, the entirety of the myriad heavens, arise upon the bedrock of the Great Dao.
Should the Dao exhibit even the slightest imperfection, calamities beyond comprehension may ensue; how much more so when the very origin of the Great Dao has become fundamentally compromised.
A stalemate has been reached!!
It is a genuine, unassailable deadlock. Permitting the Great Dao to permeate the myriad heavens and All Realms would transform them into mere sustenance for those Unauspicious beings; conversely, safeguarding the Star Rivers by severing their internal Dao from the source condemns them to a slow, agonizing demise.
The optimal resolution—or rather, the sole viable path forward—is the complete annihilation and eradication of these Unauspicious beings.
However, even the Daluo, who achieve eternal proof, have proven incapable of destroying Them, and have consequently paid a substantial price; an untold number of Immortal Divines were obliterated by the hands of these Unauspicious beings.
The power currently acting to impede the outward expansion of the Unauspicious, and concurrently protecting a segment of the Star Rivers, must undoubtedly be the work of the Daluo. Were it not for Their intervention, these Star Rivers would have long ago been reduced to utter ruin, serving as mere blood sustenance for these Unauspicious entities!
The sheer ability to contend, to such a degree, against these primordial beings born from the true Great Dao is sufficient testament to the terrifying power of the Daluo; yet, this fact more profoundly underscores the immense might possessed by these Unauspicious beings.
And yet...
Su Tu's brow furrowed subtly. In the ancient myths he recalled, certain legends spoke of mighty existences known as Dao Gods and Demons.
These beings predated the formation of heaven and earth, existing within the primordial Chaos; they were the very manifestation of Dao, the ultimate vessels of Dao.
Some of these mythical Dao Gods and Demons, following the genesis of heaven and earth, transformed into Immortal Divines, exemplified by Taiyi in the myths of the Chu region, or Black Water in certain legends from Shennongjia.
Furthermore, other myths depict Dao Gods and Demons being slain to form the very foundation of heaven and earth, as in the widely disseminated narrative of Pangu cleaving the heavens and vanquishing gods and demons.
Additional mythological accounts share analogous themes, such as Fu Xi, where the Dao itself became ink, and the gods and demons served as the brush.
Certain mythologies even categorize entities like Luo Hou and Taiyi as belonging to the realm of Dao Gods and Demons. Strictly speaking...
The Egg of Chaos, which he had previously bestowed upon Celestial Extremes, also originated prior to the existence of heaven and earth, before the gestation of all things; it is conceivable that this too could be classified as a Dao God and Demon.
However, these eldritch beings ensconced upon the Great Dao seem to bear no discernible connection to the Dao Gods and Demons found in mythological records. Intriguingly, among those Daluo who oppose Them, some are identified as reincarnations of figures from myth.
If the mere fact that both the Unauspicious beings and the Gods and Demons originate from Dao were the sole reason for comparison, Su Tu would not have equated the two.
But the crux of the matter lies in...
Not long ago, Su Tu had personally received information from Old Master Mountain revealing that the Subspace Evil Gods are, in fact, imitations of Dao Gods and Demons.
This revelation, in turn, substantiates the actual existence of Dao Gods and Demons.
It is for this precise reason that, upon witnessing those Unauspicious beings occupying the Great Dao, Su Tu's initial thought gravitated towards the concept of Dao Gods and Demons.
Nevertheless, these are clearly not matters that can be resolved through mere conjecture.
This already touches upon the ultimate secrets of the All Realms. Merely contemplating, he sensed his thoughts falter, as if an unseen power was interfering. Su Tu immediately banished such speculations from his heart. Old Master Mountain's prior warning echoed in his mind: the existence of these Unauspicious beings is truly terrifying; they are the very Dao. While he currently occupied a unique vantage point due to his Dao Fruit, remaining unperceived by these entities, he couldn't be sure if further contemplation might attract Their attention. Therefore, he had to stop thinking. Dismissing his previous thoughts, Su Tu observed the surrounding Star Mists, and an idea formed. The Star River where the Human Race currently resided likely lay within one of the clusters delineated by these golden lines. As soon as this notion surfaced— The next moment... Hum~ The surrounding vista began to expand and surge forward relentlessly. Star Mist after Star Mist blurred past Su Tu like celestial arrows, until finally, a small nebula appeared before him. Su Tu instantly realized: this nebula was the Star River he belonged to. This Star Mist was exceptionally small. Not only compared to the boundless cosmos at the center—even relative to other Star Mists, it was two to threefold smaller.
