Shi Yu returned home from drinking and playfully embraced Shen Cheng. Despite her initial attempt to shower, Shi Yu's persistent affection and teasing kept her engaged. Their intimate moment was interrupted by their young sons, who emerged from hiding. Shi Yu, possessive even of his own children, warned them away from their mother, but the boys found refuge in Shen Cheng's arms and playfully accused their father of 'misbehaving' and watching cartoons with kissing scenes.

Shen Cheng understood her two sons' dispositions quite well. From birth, they seemed to have inherited their father’s cunning and mischievous genes.

To push back against the tyranny of a certain overbearing man, they would occasionally retaliate. Their chosen method of fighting back typically involved one specific tactic.

That tactic was: defamation.

"Come here, you two," Shi Yu said, sitting on the sofa opposite Shen Cheng. He patted the spot beside him, beckoning the two young boys to approach.

Though his voice was calm, a dangerous undertone was evident.

Little Tian Jue and Xiao Ao Jue meekly lowered their heads before slowly walking over, one after the other.

Once they settled beside Shi Yu, the two children instantly transformed into docile little lambs, refraining from any mischievous behavior.

"Shi Tianjue," Shi Yu began, first uttering Shi Tianjue's full name. Then, squinting his eyes, he spoke with a cold tone, "Explain this 'kissing cartoon'."

Little Tian Jue looked up, his innocent, large eyes blinking, and replied, "It's Crayon Shin-chan..."

Shi Yu responded with a noncommittal hum, "And what does 'kissing' refer to?"

Little Tian Jue: "Crayon Shin-chan kissing his doggy..."

Shen Cheng: "..."

Their craftiness was truly unparalleled.

"Shi Aoju."

Just as Shi Yu called out Xiao Ao Jue's name, Xiao Ao Jue voluntarily stood up and confessed, "Dad said if we behave, he’d let Mommy bully him however she pleases tonight. It’s fine not to sleep, and it’s fine to be oppressed too..."

Shen Cheng: "..."

She recalled the little one saying this earlier: Mommy, Dad said he wants to bully you all night, not letting you sleep... keeping you pinned down...

The meaning conveyed was drastically different from the original statement!

It was truly bewildering who had given birth to such sons; it was unbearable.

"Go stand outside as punishment," she stated coldly, not allowing any room for negotiation.

"Stand for three hours." Shi Yu, consistently playing the role of the strict father, was often more severe than Shen Cheng.

"Can we negotiate?" Little Tian Jue inquired.

"What do you think?" Shi Yu retorted coldly.

"My brother and I won't kiss your woman for three days, won't touch your woman, so can you reduce our time a bit?" Little Tian Jue asked with a chuckle, revealing a neat row of white teeth.

"My brother and I won't hug your woman for three days, won't sleep with your woman, so can you reduce our time a bit?" Xiao Ao Jue added.

Shen Cheng: "..."

Had she now become a bargaining chip, tossed back and forth between the father and his sons?

Upon hearing their proposal, Shi Yu's brow relaxed. He responded indifferently, glancing at the two expectant boys, his lips pressed together lightly. "Deal."

Shen Cheng simply wanted to ask him, where was his integrity? His principles? What about the promise of strictness? Had they been discarded?

He was actually teaching his sons like this!

Just then, a knock sounded on the bedroom door from the outside, followed by Shi Keke's voice, "Sister-in-law, are you asleep?"

Typically, Shi Yu would be occupied in his study at this hour. Shi Keke, knowing his habits, would often knock directly on the bedroom door when she sought out Shen Cheng.

Shen Cheng was about to reply when Shi Yu spoke first, "We're occupied with something; don't disturb us."

"What a rogue." Shen Cheng cast him a displeased glance before pulling Little Tian Jue and Xiao Ao Jue towards her to open the door for Shi Keke.

As the door swung open, Shi Keke stood at the entrance, while Shi Mei leaned casually against the nearby wall.
