Love You Till the End Chapter 1165 - 1163: Shi Mei vs Shi Keke (13)
Previously on Love You Till the End...
"Are you certain... mm!"
Unprepared for the sudden action, Shi Keke was utterly stunned when Shi Mei planted a kiss upon her lips.
Though she prided herself on her adaptability, usually able to respond calmly to unexpected events, this time she was completely at a loss. Should she push him away, or return the kiss?
While she remained in this daze, Shi Mei parted his lips slightly, biting down on hers with a gentle pressure.
"Mmm... hiss..."
The sting of the bite jolted Shi Keke back to reality. Her hand shot out, pushing against his chest in an attempt to break free.
Shi Mei, however, stood as firm as a mountain, completely unmoved. He showed no signs of releasing her, nor any inclination to grant her the opportunity to resist.
His large hand clamped around her slender wrists, immobilizing her and pinning her hands above her head.
"Mmm..."
Shi Keke struggled against his grip, attempting to wriggle free, "Mmm..."
Shi Mei bit her lip once more before releasing her, his gaze fixed on her from above, a playful smirk gracing his features. "I'll offer you another chance to answer. Satisfy me, and I'll let you go this time. Fail, and you're not leaving today."
"If I don't leave, do you expect me to stay here overnight?" Shi Keke managed to steady her pounding heart and replied with forced calm. "As my brother, you have the right to bring me home and discipline me, but you certainly don't have the authority to infringe upon my freedom. Therefore, you cannot force me to stay. Unless, of course, you intend to break the law."
"You are correct, I do intend to break the law." Shi Mei's eyes narrowed, a dangerous glint appearing within them. "Do not speak to me of forbidden love. With a single word from me, Shi Keke could possess a new identity by tomorrow."
"Very well, grant me a new identity then. That way, the kiss you just stole would at least make some sense. Otherwise, if this incident were to leak, it would undoubtedly stir up immense controversy."
"This isn't the first time we've kissed, so why fret over whether it makes sense or not? Even if it did get out, what of it? Anyone who dares to gossip behind our backs will find themselves wishing they had never been born." Shi Mei's deep gaze was unreadable.
"I am well aware of your capabilities," Shi Keke stated, a slight frown creasing her brow. "Brother, are you genuinely confused, or are you merely feigning ignorance? That was unequivocally our first kiss."
"It was the second time," he corrected.
"How could it possibly be the second time?" Shi Keke questioned. "Then where did this supposed first kiss occur?"
"At Grandpa's house," Shi Mei replied, seeming disinclined to conceal the past event.
"Impossible." If such a thing had truly happened, how could she possibly not remember? She had harbored feelings for him for so long; a moment of such closeness would surely be etched in her memory.
Shi Mei looked at her, his thin lips moving slightly. "You were intoxicated then, clinging to me, refusing to let go. Then you embraced me and kissed me."
Witnessing the serious, unjoking expression on his face, Shi Keke began to suspect he might actually be telling the truth. She cleared her throat and tentatively inquired, "I... I didn't say anything else at that time, did I?"
"Mm, nothing else besides that."
A wave of relief washed over Shi Keke at his confirmation. However, not even ten seconds had passed before Shi Mei added, "But you did say that you liked me."
