Love You Till the End Chapter 1153 - 1162: Shi Mei vs. Shi Keke (Part 1)
Previously on Love You Till the End...
"Brother, drive faster, I have a meeting this morning."
Shi Keke, seated inside the vehicle and applying her makeup, urged the man beside her to accelerate.
Shi Mei, his hands expertly gripping the steering wheel, executed an elegant turn. He cast a sideways glance at his sister and remarked with veiled suggestion, "Toss everything out, and I'll drive faster."
"You mean this?" Shi Keke gestured towards the makeup bag before her.
"Yes," Shi Mei replied curtly.
"I'm not throwing it," Shi Keke stated. "These cosmetics are my latest purchases, the LK Supreme Edition. They cost twelve thousand at the counter. I don't want to waste good products."
"I told you to throw it, so just do it. Why argue?" Shi Mei freed one hand from the wheel, snatched the makeup bag from her lap, and unceremoniously flung it out of the car window.
"..." Shi Keke was briefly stunned but quickly accepted the situation. She turned to the man beside her and smoothly changed the subject, "Oh right, brother, I forgot to mention something. Lately, a male doctor has been pursuing me. He's quite accomplished, has good connections and a strong reputation at the hospital, and has achieved a lot. It's said he's performed over a hundred surgeries in the past year without a single failure. Do you think I should consider giving him a chance?"
"You can give him a chance, but make sure you're prepared to be dissected by him at any moment," Shi Mei said, his gaze fixed forward. His expression remained indifferent, like an Asura from hell, radiating an intimidating aura.
"Personally, I believe your concern is unnecessary," Shi Keke replied.
"Mm," Shi Mei responded coldly, offering no further words.
The car proceeded smoothly to the law firm and came to a halt. Shi Keke opened the door, exited the vehicle, bid Shi Mei farewell with a "Bye-bye," and closed the door.
Shi Mei gave her an indifferent glance, offered no response, and as soon as she shut the door, he immediately accelerated, driving away.
Shi Keke was already accustomed to his indifference. After the car disappeared from her sight, she turned and entered the law firm.
"Hi, Keke."
"You're early today."
"If you need assistance with the new case, just let me know. I'll be there."
Numerous individuals proactively greeted Shi Keke, most of them male colleagues. This was due to her attractive appearance and pleasant disposition, which made her quite popular within the company.
She acknowledged her colleagues' warm greetings one by one. Before entering her office, she playfully teased a male colleague, "You said you wanted to pursue me? Why has there been no action for so long?"
Upon hearing this, the male colleague extended an arm to block her path. "Is the beautiful Shi hinting that I should launch a fierce pursuit?"
"Yes," Shi Keke smiled. "Lately, I've been feeling quite empty. I wonder if it's because I lack love."
"If that's the case, shouldn't I strike while the iron is hot? Regardless of whether you're lacking love or calcium, I'll find a way to supplement you," the male colleague pondered for a moment before proposing, "How about this: tonight, I'll treat you to dinner. You decide the cuisine, and I'll be in charge of your company. What do you say?"
"Sorry, I'm on a diet lately," Shi Keke replied directly. As she spoke, she patted her colleague's shoulder. "Also, someone at home prohibits me from dating, so I don't dare to mess around."
With that, she gently pushed the male colleague aside, promptly opened the office door, entered, and closed it behind her.
The male colleague was left standing outside, utterly bewildered: "...!!!"
