Qi Jingren and Qin Shaobai confess their love for each other. Meanwhile, Su Jiuyi tries to contact Shi Aoju but fails. She then receives a call from Su Manning, who discusses upcoming wedding arrangements and relays a message from their father regarding the dowry.

Arriving at the Emperor Court Hotel precisely at 7:30, Su Jiuyi observed the scene: a dazzling array of luxury vehicles lined the exterior, while an army of attentive staff meticulously managed the bustling proceedings. The hotel's grandeur was amplified by a striking red carpet, extending fifty meters long and three meters wide, culminating at the grand entrance of the lobby.

Along the perimeter of this opulent pathway, a substantial throng of onlookers had congregated, their excited chatter filling the air as they awaited the unfolding event.

"These 'flash weddings' are quite the trend nowadays, aren't they? Marrying on such a sudden impulse."

"Indeed. The Shi family's young master, not a single rumor preceding this, and he's getting married just like that."

"A true shame. Such a fine man, now promised to another. One does wonder who holds such fortune."

"I heard the bride's surname is Su... Su Jiuyi, yes, that's the name. Su Jiuyi."

"Su Jiuyi? I can't say I've ever heard of her."

"She hails from a respectable family; her father owns a company that's seen considerable financial success in recent years. Not a household name, but certainly recognized by many."

"Ah, I see..."

Upon identifying herself to the hotel personnel, Su Jiuyi was swiftly granted passage into the establishment.

Once inside, she found herself largely overlooked, as the venue was still in the throes of preparation, leaving the staff preoccupied.

Standing alone, Su Jiuyi felt a sense of displacement, unable to find a comfortable spot to rest, feeling conspicuously out of sync with the environment.

As the prospective bride, she was uncertain of the next steps or the scheduled time for the wedding ceremony. Consequently, she decided to approach the available staff for clarification.

The staff, however, admitted they had no access to the schedule and therefore could not provide the information she sought.

Su Jiuyi located a seat, propping her chin in her hand, and gazed at the flurry of activity around her, her mind drifting into contemplation.

Suddenly, the lights within the venue flickered and died. Given the already subdued illumination, the complete darkness that followed was profound.

Just as Su Jiuyi was silently lamenting the hotel's inadequate facilities, a solitary beam of white light pierced the darkness, illuminating the center of the hall. Her gaze followed as the spotlight began to move, directing itself towards her.

A wave of bewilderment washed over Su Jiuyi, prompting her to stand and step back, attempting to evade the intense light. Yet, no matter her movement, the spotlight pursued her, until it finally enveloped her completely.

Concurrently, a similar spotlight flared into existence ten meters away. Standing precisely within its cone of light was a man clad in a suit, exuding an aura of calm confidence, a subtle smile gracing his lips.

The light seemed to enhance his presence, bestowing upon him a dazzling, captivating allure.

Su Jiuyi found herself captivated, reminded of their very first encounter. His features appeared sculpted to perfection, like a rare, exquisite artifact, possessing an undeniable delicacy.

Her gaze lingered on him for a prolonged moment before she noticed the object he held: a pristine white wedding dress. Its hem, seemingly embellished with diamonds, glittered brilliantly under the spotlight, radiating an ethereal sheen.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Su Jiuyi felt tears welling up. Lest she disrupt the perfect ambiance, she quickly raised a hand to her mouth, suppressing the urge to cry.

Prior to her arrival, she had envisioned countless scenarios, perhaps hundreds, of their reunion. Yet, she had never anticipated such a uniquely dramatic entrance.

There he stood, holding the very wedding dress he had so meticulously prepared for her.
