Lewd System: Every Scream and Moan is EXP Chapter 306 : My Max Level Can’t Reach Them... (What The Fuck)

The following day, Jax found himself positioned before the formidable gates of Vistara dungeon. This was the very dungeon recently bestowed upon the academy by Claude, now repurposed as a testing ground due to its peculiar operational mechanics.
Jax mused internally, 'My worries were unfounded. This assignment merely entails evaluating a select group of students during a dungeon raid, a task slated to conclude within three hours. This duration conveniently aligns with the time I would typically spend lecturing them, thus posing no actual inconvenience.'
However, he acknowledged the potential for complications, as these 'select students' were known troublemakers, a fact pointed out by Seraphina and others.
He cast his gaze upon the grading rubric provided for assessing their performance, noting four names inscribed upon it.
Turning his attention to the first-year students gathered before him, Jax could easily distinguish his assigned charges from the rest of the crowd. They stood apart, a stark contrast to the other groups engaged in strategic discussions and introductions. Each student from Jax's group remained isolated, seemingly by choice or by an unspoken decree that discouraged interaction. Furthermore, the influential standing of each of their families within the Royal/Power hierarchy was undeniable.
Jax identified the first student: possessed of pale skin, blonde hair, and delicate vampire ears, all framing a striking visage currently fixed upon him with an intensity capable of melting steel.
He consulted the list, her name – Delphine Rouveaux. The daughter of Sianna, who harbored lingering resentment towards Jax. This animosity stemmed from his devoted companionship in the preceding days, offering solace to her mother's profound loneliness, a loneliness exacerbated by the prolonged and sorrowful absence of her late husband. Despite his gentlemanly conduct, he remained the object of her hatred.
Next was the second student: Evangeline N. Eisfeld, an elf reportedly hailing from a prominent guild. At this moment, she appeared oblivious to the surrounding attention, even turning away when a girl approached, presumably for an introduction.
The third student posed a potentially greater challenge than the other two combined. She was the granddaughter of the Archmage, the headmistress of the Mage Tower, Athanasia L. Valterre. Seraphina had explicitly cautioned Jax to maintain a considerable distance from her, not only due to her formidable power but also the palpable aura of someone destined for a villainous path.
And finally, the last student was the sister of senior professor Kessiri Talli’nah – the catwoman.
Jax contemplated, 'This one likely relishes chaos, much like her sister. Speaking of which, where could she possibly be?'
His eyes began to scan the assembly. Suddenly, an arm seized his from behind, accompanied by a startled cry.
"BOO!"
Jax turned, surprised by the audacity of the individual who dared to touch him, and discovered the missing catwoman, Lavinia Talli’nah.
The girl clung to him, her disproportionately large chest pressing against his arm as she grinned. "Tsk. I should have anticipated my attempt to startle you would prove futile. Perhaps I should have unleashed a 'RAWR!' instead."
Jax immediately recoiled, retorting, "Enough of your antics. If I catch you pulling a stunt like this again, I will personally ensure that chest is… reduced."
Lavinia pouted. "You're no fun, Professor. You're quite the meanie. I was merely seeking a moment of amusement during this tedious wait."
Jax replied, "If you find yourself so bored, why not gather your group and present yourselves? I've been informed the examination is imminent."
Lavinia stated, "That holds no appeal either. Besides, those girls are hardly the amiable sort. Thus, my preference would be to avoid—"
Her words faltered as she met Jax's gaze. Something in his eyes evidently compelled her to abandon the rest of her sentence.
"Very well. I shall go fetch them."
She departed, a picture of defeat, heading first towards Athanasia.
Some time elapsed, and students began to be dispatched into the dungeon in successive waves. The dungeon itself was a unique facility, having served as a training ground for Claude's army for an extensive period. It would transport volunteers into various monster-infested realms for them to vanquish.
As Jax's group's turn approached, he addressed his four students. "Listen closely. You are at liberty to conduct yourselves as you see fit. Whether you kill or are killed is of no consequence to me. Just ensure you do not implicate me in your predicaments. Furthermore, do not bother lodging complaints regarding the scoring. If your marks are low, it is not due to bias."
A subtle smirk touched his lips. "It simply signifies your inadequacy."
Moments later, they passed through the dungeon's entrance. Upon stepping into the ethereal white expanse, a message resonated through the surrounding atmosphere.
[Scanning hunters’ prowess and levels...]
[11%...]
[36%...]
[100%...]
[Scan complete. Selecting a world suited for the hunters. Calibrating difficulty.]
A brief silence ensued.
[Taking longer than anticipated.]
[Hunters’ levels are too high for standard adjustments.]
[Still synchronizing difficulty levels.]
Another pause.
[Found a perfect match. Teleporting the hunters to a hidden trial that matches their combined power.]
[Trial Objective: Kill the witch who will be the reason for the apocalypse of the world.]
[Note: Only after saving the world can the hunters return.]
A wave of confusion washed over everyone, but before any questions could be voiced, the white expanse dissolved, and they found themselves standing amidst a dense forest.
Jax's voice cut through the bewilderment. "Now that you understand your objectives, commence. Eliminate the witch and conclude this posthaste."
They gave no further thought to the preceding event; tales of dungeons assigning quests such as slaying demon lords or particular monsters were common. Thus, they disregarded the dramatic phrasing and proceeded onward.
Before any strategy could be devised, trolls, minotaurs, goblins, and a multitude of slimes emerged from the undergrowth, drawn by the scent of fresh prey. However, rather than launching a coordinated assault, the creatures began to quarrel amongst themselves over who would claim the feast.
The slimes, capitalizing on the melee, oozed through the chaos and attached themselves to Lavinia. Their acidic touch began to dissolve her attire. She then feigned tears, putting on a show. "Is there no one to aid this damsel in distress? These fiends are stripping me of both my innocence and my youth!"
Jax remarked coolly, "A deduction of five points for your subpar acting."
Lavinia clicked her tongue, crushing a slime within her fist before turning a pout on him. "Truly. Such a heartless man."
The remaining monsters ceased their internal conflict and charged towards the group.
Meanwhile, Jax observed his students. First was Athanasia, utterly unconcerned with the unfolding battle. She had no desire to soil herself fighting lesser beings. Yet, she was distinctly sniffing the air, as if detecting something.
Evangeline exhibited a similar detachment, completely ignoring the approaching creatures. The exam and its rankings held no interest for her.
Delphine was the sole exception, exhibiting seriousness. Her bow was already drawn, and she was calculating trajectories.
As for Lavinia, she remained characteristically playful.
Seizing the moment, Jax decided to confirm his suspicions. He activated his body-swapping ability to ascertain if any champion had infiltrated their ranks or possibly possessed one of his students.
His first subject was Delphine. He initiated the skill on her.
[TARGET ACQUIRED]
[NAME: UNDEFINED]
[CONFIRM? YES / NO]
The designation 'Name undefined' signified she was not a champion. Furthermore, the appearance of the confirmation prompt provided an additional clue: her level was below his own, otherwise, the skill would have been blocked from use.
He performed the same check on Evangeline. The results were identical. No champion detected, and her level was lower than his.
Next, his attention turned to Athanasia.
[TARGET ACQUIRED]
[NAME: UNDEFINED]
[Host does not possess the required level to execute the skill on the target.]
Jax mused, 'What in the blazes? I've reached my maximum potential. So how on earth...?'
He gazed at the girl, who was casually inhaling the forest air as if assessing the quality of the breeze.
'Wait. Is she that formidable?'
No information was forthcoming. He was aware that following his recent upgrade, he was unequivocally more powerful than anyone at the academy. Even Lysandra would stand no chance against him now. Yet, this first-year student was registering as being beyond his maximum capabilities.
He then shifted his focus to the final target: Lavinia. The catwoman, currently wrinkling her nose in distaste as she wiped slime from her fingers.

'What in the name of all that is sacred is transpiring?'
