Invincible Little School Doctor Chapter 2011: You’re Using Taunting Technique!
Previously on Invincible Little School Doctor...
Faced with the village chief’s skeptical gaze, Yingzi didn't falter, her voice sharp as she questioned, "What kind of look is that? Do you doubt my words?"
Heavens, this woman is incredibly formidable!
Ye Haochuan let out a sigh internally.
Yingzi’s tactic was undeniably shrewd; her indignant posture made it seem as though she was gravely wronged.
The village chief, clearly accustomed to being dominated, visibly deflated upon hearing this. He let out an awkward laugh, saying, "How could I not believe you, Yingzi? I know your character too well. Even if the entire world abandoned me, you would never betray me!"
Unbelievable, such a spineless man? No wonder he's cheated on daily.
Ye Haochuan commented silently.
Ye Haochuan was mistaken; this village chief wasn't truly cowardly, as he displayed no hesitation when confronting Ye Haochuan.
With apparent flattery directed at Yingzi, the village chief immediately turned and bellowed at Ye Haochuan and his companion, "You scoundrels! Not only did you try to assault my wife, but you dared to slander her too. If I don't make you pay, I'm not a man!"
With that declaration, he produced a large bronze rod and swung it forcefully towards Ye Haochuan.
"Be gone!" Before Ye Haochuan could even react, Niu Kui surged forward. His Giant Que weapon flashed fiercely, striking the substantial bronze rod.
Clang~
An immense, unquantifiable force traveled through the rod, directly into the village chief’s hand. His arms instantly went numb, losing all sensation. The rod was wrenched from his grip, sailing through the air and striking a large rock far away with a resounding thud, leaving countless fissures across its surface.
"How... how is this possible?" Dumbfounded, both the village chief and Yingzi stared in disbelief.
While Yingzi merely registered that the village chief’s rod had been disarmed, the village chief personally experienced the overwhelming power that rendered him utterly insignificant.
"Impossible! He hasn't even begun converting Flower Qi, how can he possess such might?" the village chief muttered, his voice laced with disbelief.
Flower Qi and Spiritual Energy are fundamentally distinct, and their power disparity is astronomical. Typically, the greater the conversion of Flower Qi, the stronger an individual is considered.
The village chief had confidently initiated a two-on-one confrontation with Ye Haochuan and his companion precisely because he had assessed their Cultivation levels.
Despite Niu Kui’s ability to liquefy Spirit Qi, his Flower Qi was minimal, positioning him as merely a Pseudo Immortal Transcendence. Ye Haochuan, meanwhile, was only at Nascent Soul Peak.
He had believed he could easily subdue both of them.
Who could have foreseen that the moment Niu Kui made his move, he would feel completely incapable of resistance?
This feeling was something he had previously encountered only from a cultivator at the Immortal Transformation Mid-Stage, never expecting to experience it from a recently transformed Immortal cultivator.
"You fool! We were telling the truth, but you chose to believe that woman instead!" Although Niu Kui had incapacitated the village chief, he refrained from further assault. Instead, he chided the chief with a tone of disappointed expectation.
The village chief’s face fell as if he had suffered a profound loss upon hearing this.
In his perception, Niu Kui's reaction seemed slow, a trait often associated with being unintelligent. To be reprimanded as a fool by such a person was an extreme humiliation.
"Don't get arrogant. Do you truly believe our village has no one else?" the village chief scoffed coldly. He then turned abruptly to Yingzi, calling out, "Yingzi, call for reinforcements!"
His voice was loud, but Yingzi seemed not to hear him. Her gaze was fixated on Niu Kui's well-built physique, a hint of longing in her eyes as if picturing certain scenarios.
My word, with a look like that, only an idiot wouldn't see the problem.
Ye Haochuan chuckled inwardly, then shifted his attention back to the village chief.
The village chief's brow furrowed slightly, an undeniable sign of unease, but he quickly masked it, adopting an expression of feigned ignorance. He then called out to Yingzi once more, this time with increased volume.
This time, Yingzi finally registered his words. She abruptly snapped back to reality, her composure intact, and pulled out a whistle, blowing it with urgency.
The whistle's sharp note pierced through the forest. Almost immediately after the sound faded, Ye Haochuan sensed multiple powerful presences rapidly approaching.
Good grief, is this some hidden clan? So many experts!
Ye Haochuan grew alarmed, instinctively preparing for a defensive stance.
Within mere seconds, two elders and an old woman arrived in haste. All three possessed Cultivation levels at the Early Stage of Immortal Transformation. Among them, one elder clad in black displayed a Flower Qi conversion far exceeding that of the village chief.
"Yingzi, what has happened?" The question came from the old woman.
"Mother, these two attempted to molest me, and they injured my brother!" Yingzi instantly adopted a pitiable, whiny tone.
The old woman cast a dismissive glance at Ye Haochuan and Niu Kui before sneering at the village head. "You are pathetically useless, aren't you? You can't even handle two who haven't truly reached Immortal Transformation?"
"Mother-in-law, that burly man, he's quite skilled..." the village head quickly interjected.
"Enough!" the old woman cut him off with a snort. "Useless is useless, what good are excuses?"
The village head's face flushed, cycling through blue and white, yet he dared not speak another word.
Good heavens, so this fellow possesses a far higher Cultivation than Yingzi, yet he cowers before her because of such a formidable mother-in-law!
Ye Haochuan immediately understood, a sense of sympathy washing over him for the village head.
From Ye Haochuan's earlier observations, he surmised the village head was well aware of Yingzi's infidelity but was suppressed by his mother-in-law's authority, forcing him into silence.
After casting some contempt upon the village head, the old woman turned her attention to Niu Kui, snorting. "Young man, I advise you to surrender. Don't force my hand, or you'll wish you were dead!"
Niu Kui offered no verbal reply, instead looking at Ye Haochuan with a hint of bewilderment. "Brother Ye, another unreasonable one. What should we do now?"
My goodness, he's employing the Taunting Technique right here!
Ye Haochuan couldn't help but break into a wry smile.
Precisely as Niu Kui finished speaking, the old woman's expression shifted dramatically. "Bastard, you're seeking death!" she roared furiously.
With that declaration, she brandished a steel whip, lashing out at Niu Kui.
Niu Kui's brows furrowed, appearing visibly annoyed by the sudden assault. Naturally, he reached out, aiming to seize the steel whip.
The old woman applied her strength, only to find her weapon firmly grasped, utterly unmovable.
Having just arrogantly belittled her opponent, only to be swiftly subdued, the old woman was visibly embarrassed.
At this precise moment, Ye Haochuan clearly perceived a flicker of disdain within the village head's eyes. However, this emotion was quickly masked.
Indeed, the relationships within this family are far from harmonious!
Ye Haochuan sighed inwardly.
"Li, your wife is being bullied, why do you stand there foolishly?" the old woman spat out, issuing a command.
The strongest of the trio, the cultivator clad in black, heard the summons and surged forward, launching an attack against Niu Kui.
