Invincible Divine Sword Chapter 2089: The Long Clan Ancestor’s Treasure Map

Previously on Invincible Divine Sword...
Yang Xiaotian encounters Princess Long Ji of the Silver Heavenly Dragon Clan within the dangerous Dragon Destruction Cave. Despite warnings about the perils of the area, Yang Xiaotian reveals he is searching for his master, the Primordial Universe Taoist, leading to a friendly exchange of information between the two groups. After parting ways, Yang Xiaotian senses the unique power of the Hongmeng Holy Body and rushes toward its source. He discovers the Primordial Universe Taoist trapped within a life-draining Innate Grand Array and under attack by a powerful Earth Dragon Beast. After a swift rescue and an emotional reunion, Yang Xiaotian begins using his specialized healing powers to restore his master’s depleted life force.

Once the Primordial Universe Taoist had recovered his vitality and energy, Yang Xiaotian finally inquired about the reason for his journey to the Dragon Destruction Cave.

It was, after all, quite peculiar to travel millions of miles from the Holy Realm to reach such a place.

“I came into possession of a treasure map,” the Primordial Universe Taoist revealed without hesitation. “It appears to be a legacy left behind by the Long Clan Ancestor.”

A map from the Long Clan Ancestor himself!

The revelation left everyone in shock.

The Primordial Universe Taoist immediately produced the map and unfurled it. By infusing it with Holy Power, he activated the artifact. “The map indicates that the treasure is hidden right here, within the Dragon Destruction Cave!” he explained.

Upon inspection, Yang Xiaotian confirmed that the Dragon Destruction Cave was indeed the destination marked on the map.

Furthermore, the Long Clan Runes etched onto the surface suggested that this was undoubtedly the work of the Long Clan Ancestor.

The map pointed to the cave system in general, yet it failed to highlight a precise location.

“I traveled to the Dragon Destruction Cave after acquiring this map, but it lacks a specific site for the hoard,” the Primordial Universe Taoist noted. “Despite searching these grounds for years, the treasure described remains elusive.”

“For three years, I was imprisoned within that Grand Array. Had you not arrived, I would likely have become nothing more than a desiccated corpse within another year.” A look of lingering fear crossed the Primordial Universe Taoist’s face as he spoke.

“Master, let me examine the treasure map once more,” Yang Xiaotian requested.

Without delay, the Primordial Universe Taoist handed the map over to him.

He had no reason to keep secrets from Yang Xiaotian; without his disciple, he would have surely perished inside that Grand Array.

Yang Xiaotian scrutinized the map intensely. He then channeled the energy of the Primordial Dragon Holy Body into it, causing the parchment to erupt in a brilliant glow. A subtle Long Clan Rune embedded in the design transformed, manifesting as a small dragon of light that took flight.

The Primordial Universe Taoist watched in astonishment. He had studied the map for a long time without ever realizing it contained such a hidden mechanism.

Yang Xiaotian felt a surge of joy as he watched the glowing dragon.

The small light dragon soon began moving in a specific direction.

Yang Xiaotian and his companions followed closely behind.

Guided by the light dragon, the group traversed rugged mountains and difficult terrain as the path grew increasingly isolated.

The Fierce Beasts they encountered grew more formidable with every mile they covered.

The strength of these Fierce Beasts was so immense that even the Destroying Heaven Demon and the Blood Demon Old Monster found them difficult to handle. Consequently, the Abyss of Darkness and the Dragon Corpse Beast had to take the lead in combat.

To Yang Xiaotian’s annoyance, the route was littered with Restrictions. These were hidden like invisible mines, buried in the earth and suspended in the air. Had Yang Xiaotian not possessed the ability to see through these Restrictions, the group would have been struck hundreds of times before ever reaching their goal.

Leading the way, Yang Xiaotian carefully navigated around the traps, keeping pace with the small light dragon.

Suddenly, as they were being led forward, a violent surge of energy erupted from their destination, signaling an ongoing battle.

A powerful Dragon Force was detected by the group.

“The Silver Heavenly Dragon Clan is here!” the Dragon Corpse Beast remarked.

Indeed, it was clear that one side of the conflict belonged to the Silver Heavenly Dragon Clan.

As the light dragon continued its flight, they drew nearer to the battlefield.

The group soon confirmed that the Silver Heavenly Dragon Clan was locked in combat with the Xuanming Demon Sect.

They could sense not only the potent Dragon Force but also a staggering amount of Demonic Qi.

Upon reaching the site, they witnessed experts from both factions clashing violently across the mountain range ahead.

While the Silver Heavenly Dragon Clan was currently the dominant clan in the Ancestor Dragon Realm, they were still slightly outmatched by the Xuanming Demon Sect.

The Silver Heavenly Dragon experts were being suppressed and faced inevitable defeat if the battle continued.

The Young Master of the Xuanming Demon Sect fixed a glare on Princess Long Ji of the Silver Heavenly Dragon Clan. “Surrender that Ancestor Dragon Ginseng and I shall permit your departure!” he barked.

He had no desire for an open war with the Silver Heavenly Dragon Clan while within the Ancestor Dragon Realm.

“We were the ones who discovered this Ancestor Dragon Ginseng! Why should we hand it over to you?” Princess Long Ji shouted back in anger.

The Ancestor Dragon Ginseng was among the Long Clan’s most precious Divine Medicines. While an ordinary one was valuable, this particular specimen was a staggering seven hundred million years old!

With cold eyes filled with lethal intent, the Xuanming Demon Sect Young Master warned, “I will say it one last time: give me the Ancestor Dragon Ginseng, or none of you leave this place alive!”

In the Dragon Destruction Cave, the heavy Restrictions prevented Message Talismans from being sent out. Even if they slaughtered Princess Long Ji and her retinue, the Silver Heavenly Dragon Lord and his experts would have no way of knowing who was responsible.

“And I will repeat myself as well: we found the Ancestor Dragon Ginseng first. It will not be given to you!” Princess Long Ji yelled defiantly.

“Then you shall perish!” the Xuanming Demon Sect Young Master roared. His eyes flashed with murderous rage as he threw a punch toward Princess Long Ji, commanding, “Kill them all!”

“Leave no survivors!”

Sensing the power behind the Young Master’s strike, Princess Long Ji quickly shifted into her Dragon Body and threw a counter-punch.

A thunderous explosion shook the air.

To her shock, although her opponent’s Cultivation Realm was only slightly higher than hers, his raw strength was far superior. She was sent reeling backward until she collided with a distant mountain peak.

Before she could recover, the Xuanming Demon Sect Young Master swung his Demon Sword. He aimed a fierce strike at an unprotected scale—the most vulnerable point in the Long Clan’s defenses.

If that Demon Sword pierced the Silver Heavenly Dragon Princess, she would be gravely wounded, if not killed instantly.

The Silver Heavenly Dragon experts watched in desperate fury, but they were pinned down by the Xuanming Demon Sect’s forces and could not move to save her.

Just as the Demon Sword was about to strike Princess Long Ji, a streak of cold light sliced through the sky. Its speed was so incredible it caught everyone off guard. The light crashed directly into the Young Master’s Demon Sword.

A sharp, metallic ring echoed through the area.

The Demon Sword was knocked high into the air.

The Young Master of the Xuanming Demon Sect was forced back by the sheer impact, nearly falling from the sky. As he steadied himself, he realized his entire arm had gone numb.

Shocked and enraged, he looked toward the source of the interference. Identifying the intruders, he spat out, “It’s you!”

The newcomers were none other than Yang Xiaotian and his group.

Despite their brief encounter previously, he recognized Yang Xiaotian and his cohorts immediately.

Princess Long Ji’s face lit up with relief upon seeing Yang Xiaotian. “It’s you! You actually found your Master!” she cried out.

Yang Xiaotian offered a smile and a nod to the Princess. “I have found him. We meet again, Princess.”

In an instant, Yang Xiaotian’s party reached the center of the clearing.

By this time, Yang Xiaotian had already concealed the treasure map.

The Xuanming Demon Sect Young Master glared at Yang Xiaotian, his body shrouded in swirling Demonic Qi. “Boy, I advise you not to meddle in the affairs of the Primordial Demon World’s Xuanming Demon Sect, or else!”

However, before he could finish his threat, Yang Xiaotian unleashed a punch. The surging force of the blow sent the Young Master flying backward, causing him to cough up a spray of blood.

Seeing this, the Xuanming Demon Sect experts abandoned their fight with the Silver Heavenly Dragon Clan to rush to their Young Master’s side.

“Or else what?” Yang Xiaotian asked, his gaze chillingly cold.
