Infinite Awakening: My Exp Doubles Everyday Chapter 472: I Love Husband The Mostest [PART 2]

With expressions of absolute certainty, the two incarnations of Li Yao approached each other. They pressed their palms together, merging their forms back into a single entity.
Within the depths of her consciousness, the Sage of Causality felt the sting of defeat. "It’s over for me," she realized despairingly. Yet, a part of her refused to simply fade away. "No, I refuse to let it end like this," she vowed.
Trapped in a hopeless situation where survival was impossible, she chose the only path remaining. She concentrated every ounce of her comprehension regarding the fragment into a single point. If Li Yao were to seize this power, the Sage would never have a chance to resurface. Compressing her entire understanding, she forcibly expelled it. The fragment detached from her essence and dissolved into nothingness. Simultaneously, she felt her very being swallowed by a tidal wave of emotion before her consciousness vanished entirely.
The Empress observed the now-still Li Yao. [Did you succeed?] she inquired.
A confident grin spread across Li Yao's face. "Naturally. Who do you think I am?" she replied. She flexed her fingers, satisfied that the fusion had proceeded exactly as she had envisioned.
However, her triumph was short-lived. Her face fell as she realized something was wrong. She searched for the power, but it was gone. One of the primary reasons she had merged was that she had sensed a presence within this body identical to her Senior Brother’s. She had hoped to harness that power to save him, but now, that vital essence had evaporated.
Sifting through the Sage's lingering memories, she let out a frustrated sigh. The Sage had actually managed to discard it. "A fragment," she whispered, recalling the Sage's term for it.
Specifically, it was called a fragment of the Heavenly Dao. But Li Yao knew better; that familiar sensation was something she recognized intimately. Glancing at her Senior Brother’s unconscious form, she realized he was saturated with that same feeling—and not just a mere sliver. If the Sage’s piece was the size of a single atom, the power within Xiang Yu was as vast as the entire Chaos. "A fragment of husband..." she murmured with a sigh.
Suddenly, the thousands of clones patrolling the area vanished. Li Yao moved with blurred speed, grabbing Xiang Yu and teleporting both him and the Human Empress to the Sage’s fortress. Upon arrival, she dropped him onto the frozen floor and immediately lunged on top of him.
[What on earth are you doing?] the Empress asked, startled.
"I can't restrain myself any longer," Li Yao panted, her breath hitching as her pulse raced. Her pale skin began to flush a deep, heated red. With a swift motion, she shredded his garments and reached out, her face reflecting a moment of pure anticipation—before she abruptly froze.
The Empress noticed the sudden shift in her demeanor. [Is there a problem?]
"N... n... nothing," Li Yao stammered, her voice shaking with disbelief.
[Nothing?] the Empress pressed.
"Yes, look for yourself! Nothing!" Li Yao cried out, shifting aside so the Empress could see. She shielded her face in a fit of mortification before finally stealing a glance herself.
[Well, would you look at that... there really is nothing there,] the Empress remarked flatly.
Li Yao lunged at the Empress, grabbing her robes and shaking her frantically. "What should I do? How do I bring it back?"
[Why are you looking at me? What the hell am I supposed to do about it?] the Empress snapped, prying herself away from the girl's grip.
Tears began to pool in Li Yao’s eyes. "Husband, how could you be so cruel to me?" Her sorrow quickly twisted into a cold, hard resolve. "To think you would dare hide what belongs to me..." She tightened her fist until her knuckles turned white. "I will repay this humiliation a hundred times over," she declared with fierce intent.
The Empress gave her a look of utter bewilderment. [Belongs to you? Isn't that his own body part? How is it yours?] She shook her head; this girl’s logic never failed to baffle her.
"Husband only uses it with me, which makes me a primary stakeholder," Li Yao explained with deadly seriousness. "I effectively own ninety percent of the equity."
[Mmh, I see. That actually makes sense,] the Empress replied, giving a sarcastic thumbs up as her projection began to fade. "I need to get as far away from this madness as possible," she thought to herself.
...
Within the depths of Xiang Yu’s spiritual sea, his soul buckled under immense pressure before forcing itself back upright. He clutched his head as waves of agony washed over him; the pain was nearly intolerable. Having attained a Source-level mind, he had gained a form of omniscience over all of existence and nonexistence. While the sheer volume of data was staggering, his enhanced mind was theoretically capable of processing it.
Yet, there was one variable he couldn't stabilize. At the moment, he could only cling to consciousness for fleeting intervals before his mind crashed. It was during these brief windows of clarity that he identified the source of the interference.
It was his wife.
Through his omniscience, he had discovered something shocking: he wasn't the sole possessor of Absolute Source power. There were five instances of it. The Heavenly Dao derived its authority from the Absolute Source, the World Tree drew its infinite energy from it, the Sage’s probability calculations were fueled by it, Li Yao held a fragment, and then there was himself.
Though their fragments were microscopic compared to the boundless Chaos within him, they were still manifestations of the Absolute Source and capable of causing significant disruptions. His current mental instability was being triggered by his wife’s fragment. More accurately, Li Yao herself was the anomaly. Rather than the fragment empowering her, she had completely dominated it.
Normally, such a fragment would manifest power based on the host's desires. However, Li Yao’s mind was occupied by nothing but her overwhelming devotion to her Senior Brother. This love was so potent it had essentially hijacked the fragment’s function.
Instead of granting conventional Cultivation power, the fragment simply amplified her intense emotions and reflected them back at her. Li Yao would then double those feelings and feed them back into the fragment. This created a recursive loop that infinitely magnified her love for him. Xiang Yu sighed inwardly; he had misjudged her. She wasn't simply insane—the fragment was caught in a feedback loop with her obsession.
The issue was that Xiang Yu’s omniscience forced him to be aware of this love. Because it was growing at an infinite rate, it constantly overwhelmed his sensory capacity. In essence, his consciousness was being subjected to a massive DDoS attack by his own wife’s affection.
